The geometric constraint solving can transform into the numerical optimization solving.A new hybrid algorithm is proposed which combines the merits of global search of the Genetic algorithm and the good property of local search of the simplex algorithm *** algorithm uses Genetic algorithm to search the area where the best solution may exist in the whole space,and then performs fine *** the algorithm approaches to the best solution and the search speed is too slow,we can change to the effective local search strategy-the simplex algorithm in order to enhance the ability of the GA on fine *** makes the algorithm get rid off the prematurity convergence *** apply this algorithm into the geometric constraint *** experiment shows that the hybrid algorithm has the effective convergence property and it can find the global best solution.

Wind speed forecasting has significant influence on wind energy *** the paper,a least square support vector machine with a novel optimization algorithm was used to improve the performances of wind speed forecasting *** simulated annealing(CSA) and simplex algorithm were combined in the novel optimization algorithm to optimize parameters of LSSVM forecasting ***,parameters were optimized by CSA in global ***,parameters which got from CSA were optimized by simplex algorithm to get the best ***,the LSSVM model with best parameters was applied to wind speed *** on the data obtained from a wind farm in Shanxi province,the simulation results show that comparing with the support vector machine(SVM) model with grid-search and the LSSVM model with particle swarm optimization,the proposed model has better performances on accuracy and training time,thereby it helps make reasonable decisions for power scheduling and dispatch.

The principle of direct method used in optimal control problem is introduced. Details of applying this method to flight trajectory generation are presented including calculation of velocity and controls histories. And capabilities of flight and propulsion systems are considered also. Combined with digital terrain map technique, the direct method is applied to the three dimensional trajectory optimization for low altitude penetration, and simplex algorithm is used to solve the parameters in optimization. For the small number of parameters, the trajectory can be optimized in real time on board.

A software platform for the optimization of frequency response characteristic function used for the characterization of catalysts has been developed based on LabVIEW. The optimization algorithm of simplex algorithm and Powell method were introduced, as well as fundamental principles refer to catalyst models and objective functions. The flow chart of program platform was presented.
