This article is as to the limitations and the lack of the traditional active contour model for pedestrian detection and tracking method, proposed the algorithm about contours on initialization to access, the energy of the active window, edge detection and Kalman filter those combined with the active contour model algorithm,improved the energy and the distribution of the traditional active contour model of items and control points. Experimental results showed that the improved algorithm can detect precisly contours of pedestrians, and the control point distribution, contour smoothness is better.

With the aggravation of terrorist activities and frequent occuring of all kinds of car bomb attacks, social and public safety issues have become the focus of attention of the whole world. The vehicle chassis foreign body detection system developed in this paper is mainly used in all kinds of important occasions, to achieve real-time and safe detection of vehicles which is helpful to protect the lives and property of citizens, and to block the invasion and transimission of drugs and other harmful substances. Traditional vehicle chassis detection is carried out by security personnel with dedicated portable underbody detection tool, which is time-consuming, laborious and ineffective. In this paper, we construct a intelligent vehicle chassis image detection system. However, there is always distortion in the real time vehicle chassis image captured by multi-line CCD array which therefore needs to be corrected. This paper presents an image correction method for multi linear CCD. Firstly, sobel differential operator is used to detect the binarized image of the edge of the vehicle chassis on horizontal and vertical directions. Secondly, we use Radon transform to detect angle of inclination of traveling distorted image captured by line scan cameras based on the results of edge detection, using shear transformation to correct binarized chassis image. Finally, a standard chassis image can be obtained based on image interpolation, the characteristic of sobel operator and recapture the image. Experimental results show that this proposed method is simple and insensitive of stains and light. In addition, a standard chassis image can be obtained after completing the distortion correction.

It Is well known that the special objectives such as military cave storage is hard to be recognized and located by routine method because of camouflage technology. This paper presents a new algorithm basing on differential image detection and edge detection technology. Firstly, extracting some target images at different period while in the same position. Then using preprocessing technology to define the object region for analyzed. The third, adopting differential detection algorithm for image comparison, filtering the noise which may influence detection results by setting proper gray threshold. After excluding the interference factors such as working environment, phenophase, experimental instrument, light condition and so on, we can determine the shape feature of target's boundary. Experimental results demonstrate that this algorithm can realize fast processing, high accuracy recognition, insensitive to the noise and is effective for increasing the capability of special target recognition and location such as military cave storage.

In this paper, we propose a novel method for an object-based post-classification filtering, specifically tailored to improve agricultural land use maps. That has significant impact on the solving other applied tasks like detection of land cover changes and crop rotation violation, area estimation and crop yield forecasting. The main idea of this method is to divide classification map into separate objects (group of pixels with the same class value) and investigate the properties of them, taking into account the specificity of each class, independently. The most challenging task in post-classification filtering is preserving edges and boundaries between different fields. Often these boundaries are narrow and some traditional filters tend to treat this like noise and remove them. To deal with this, our method identifies boundaries of objects like crop fields, based on a modified version of the sobel algorithm. The accuracy and effectiveness of our method has been tested and compared with other methods, based on accuracy assessments and visual comparison.
