Mobile embedded terminals widely applied in individual lives, but its security threats become more and more serious. Malicious attacker can steal sensitive information such as user’s phonebook, credit card information by instrumenting malicious programs, or compromising vulnerable software. Against these problems, this paper proposes a scheme for trusted protection system on the embedded platform. The system uses SM algorithms and hardware security chip as the root of trust to establish security mechanisms, including trusted boot of system image, trusted monitoring of the system running environment, disk partition encryption and verification, etc. These security mechanisms provide comprehensive protection to embedded system boot, runtime and long-term storage devices. This paper introduces the architecture and principles of the system software, design system security functions and implement prototype system for protection of embedded OS. The experiments results indicates the promotion of embedded system security and the performance test shows that encryption performance can meet the practical application.

As we know there will be a big volume of data, querying it or employing a machine learning method that requires a full dataset to anticipate passive internet traffic is not appropriate for all aspects of traffic monitoring software. True, similar algorithms may be used for other reasons, but the fundamental characteristic that no other model has is a system that can forecast immediate changes or data mining. The major goal of this study is to provide effective visualization monitoring for real-time passive traffic analysis in low-complexity high-speed networks. We also in near future will look at how rendered graphs from several time bins might be stitched together to create a massive amount of data that shows how traffic patterns change over time.

This paper studies the test method and measurement standard for the credibility of distributed system software behavior. In the test method, the distributed node data is obtained by embedding checkpoints into the distributed system software, and the credibility of distributed system nodes and their interaction behavior is analyzed, where a new method of credibility testing is obtained. In terms of the criteria, an explicit scoring method is used to simplify the dimension of the data set. In terms of measurement, the DBSCAN clustering algorithm is proposed to identify the interaction behavior of distributed nodes

To address the current Instant Image Process, we designed an embedded hardware system based on FPGA(Field-Programmable Gate Array) and ARM(Advanced RISC Machine) in this project, in order to realize the instant acquisition, processing, recognizing and displaying of images. The system acquires and initially processes the image via the cameras controlled by FPGA, after that the data is buffered into the SDRAM (synchronous dynamic random-access memory). And then the ARM sends the SDRAM cached data to the PC (cloud) side through the WIFI module for advanced processing. The processed data then is transmitted back to the SDRAM through WIFI and displayed by the LCD. By the above means, the system realizes the high-speed acquisition and parallel processing of images.

An Ant colony algorithm (ACO) is proposed for hybrid renewable energy system size and configuration optimisation using continuous search space approach. In the proposed algorithm the pheromone distribution across search space is determined by gaussian distribution, and the probabilistic path selection is performed based on pheromone deposit value via roulette wheel principle. The ACO algorithm is implemented in the software tool MOHRES and three case studies are conducted to optimise the size and configuration of standalone hybrid renewable energy system derived from the full configuration wind-PV-battery-diesel-FC Electrolyser system. To evaluate the performance of the proposed ACO, the optimum solutions are compared with the solutions obtained by the genetic algorithm (GA) optimisation algorithm implemented in MOHRES.

Over the last decade, advances in high-throughput sequencing and the availability of portable sequencers have enabled fast and cheap access to genetic data. For a given sample, sequencers typically output fragments of the DNA in the sample. Depending on the sequencing technology, the fragments range from a length of 150-250 at high accuracy to lengths in few tens of thousands but at much lower accuracy. Sequencing data is now being produced at a rate that far outpaces Moore's law and poses significant computational challenges on commodity hardware. To meet this demand, software tools have been extensively redesigned and new algorithms and custom hardware have been developed to deal with the diversity in sequencing data. However, a standard set of benchmarks that captures the diverse behaviors of these recent algorithms and can facilitate future architectural exploration is lacking. To that end, we present the GenomicsBench benchmark suite which contains 12 computationally intensive data-parallel kernels drawn from popular bioinformatics software tools. It covers the major steps in short and long-read genome sequence analysis pipelines such as basecalling, sequence mapping, de-novo assembly, variant calling and polishing. We observe that while these genomics kernels have abundant data level parallelism, it is often hard to exploit on commodity processors because of input-dependent irregularities. We also perform a detailed microarchitectural characterization of these kernels and identify their bottlenecks. GenomicsBench includes parallel versions of the source code with CPU and GPU implementations as applicable along with representative input datasets of two sizes - small and large.

This paper describes the implementation of three deterministic algorithms for the attitude estimation of a rigid body in a pragmatic fashion. For that, a tri-axis accelerometer and a tri-axis magnetometer, and a low-cost micro-controller are used. The algorithms implementation is carried out using MATLAB/Simulink. The proposed methodology allows a fast evaluation of any deterministic algorithm. Then, it aids the subsequent development of embedded implementations. Experimental results validate the proposed methodology.

In photovoltaic (PV) system, the output power is depending on the smooth operation of PV array. PV array may suffer from different fault condition due to open circuit, short circuit and partial shading condition. Fault is a abnormal condition that can cause hindrance to the smooth operation of PV system. Fault identification is major challenge to the design engineers to avoid power loss as well as damage to the PV system. Open circuit, short circuit and partial shading are most frequent faults that occur in PV array system. Many Researchers proposed fault diagnosis methods to recognize faults in PV array, majority failed in accurate and fast detection of faults. In this paper a novel method consists of Stockwell transform and machine learning based algorithm is used to detect and classify faults in PV array. The Necessary simulations and classification tasks are carried out in MATLAB software.

Currently, there is no method for assessing the quality of information audio signal transmission over the transmission channel. According to Russian National Standard (GOST), simple stationary test signals should be used for channel evaluation. II additional processing devices should be disabled, while test signal is applied. Compact representation of signal and it's effect of signal quality are ignored. Based on the results of the research carried out by the authors, it is possible to determine the relationship between the change in a number of objective parameters and the subjective quality assessment from real listeners.

The mapping of software verification algorithms on FPGA promise orders of magnitude faster verification. FP-GASwarm shows 900X speedup over software swarm verification. However, this approach misses important optimization opportunities and glosses over algorithmic design-space *** paper introduces Carnac, a deeply pipelined swarm verification architecture, which by exposing the algorithmic variability points can realize multiple verification algorithms. Furthermore, we introduce the Mixed Young Random Frontier-Bounded (MYR_FB), a new swarm verification algorithm, found through an efficiency-based design-space *** on the BEEM benchmark, the MYR_FB algorithm shows up to 144% efficiency gain over FPGASwarm on 72% of the models. The Carnac architecture runs at 400MHz on Xilinx Ultrascale+ FPGA, and can accommodate twice more verification cores than FPGASwarm. Overall the evaluation shows a 7.58X speedup over FPGASwarm, while enabling an unprecedented scalability on high-end FPGAs.
