The classification of fruits into various classes is becoming inherent to the food processing industry. This paper presents a simulation analysis of effect of activation functions: ReLu, Softmax, sigmoid, and Softplus on the accuracy and latency of the CNN algorithm for classification of fruits: apple, banana and orange. The paper presents the comparative increase of accuracy of different activation functions over the ReLu activation function. The algorithm is trained and tested over a database created by downloading fruit images from the online sources. Also, this paper presents the effect of increasing the number of convolutional layers of the CNN algorithm on the Accuracy and latency of the model. The software used for simulation of the model is Python implemented using Jupyter Notebook over the Anaconda platform.

Smart classroom is the inevitable result of the deep integration of modern information technology and education. The use of particle swarm optimization algorithm can realize the process tracking of teaching and learning in and out of class, create an intelligent learning environment, and facilitate students to break through the limitations of time and space. Based the goal of improving English teaching ability, combined with the connotation and characteristics of smart classroom. Through evaluation of English teaching ability by Particle Swarm Optimization Algorithm this paper establishes smart classroom teaching model. Smart classroom teaching model for the coordinated development of teachers from the perspective of smart classroom teaching model exploration and application, in order to explore whether the teaching model can improve students' learning efficiency, reduce teachers' repetitive work and improve teaching effect. The conclusion of this paper can be employed to reference to promote the construction of English smart classroom teaching ability in vocational and technical institutes colleges, improve the quality of English teaching and promote the reform of English Teaching in vocational and technical institutes colleges.

In-loop filter is a crucial module in video coding, which can improve both subjective and object quality of reconstructed videos. In this paper, a new sample-based classification method is first proposed using features extracted from different stages of the existing in-loop filter process. Based on this method, an adaptive three-layer Quad-tree Based Sample Refinement Filter (QSRF) algorithm is designed to further improve the coding efficiency. Experimental results show that the proposed QSRF algorithm achieves 0.39%, 0.77% and 0.70% BD-rate savings for random access, lowdelay B and lowdelay P configurations compared to AVS3 reference software, respectively. Moreover, the proposed method can also improve visual quality of reconstructed videos significantly.

The current technique for checking patients in hospitals keeps patients attached to their beds and can be awkward for patients to wear. The quantity of medical caretakers in the labour force is additionally expected to decrease by 2020, causing strain in a climate where overabundance pressure can prompt stress mishaps happening to patients. The objective of this project was to deliver a remote patient monitoring and future analysis framework that could permit patients to be versatile in their current circumstance. The created framework incorporates a heartbeat oximeter to gauge blood oxygen fixation and the patient's heartbeat, just as a temperature sensor to monitor the patient's temperature. Other physiological boundaries, for example, internal heat level, breath rate, and anomalous heart beat through Heart rate sensor and so forth these physiological boundaries are level changed over and communicated through UART directly fetched to the cloud. The objective of the proposed module is to screen the boundaries adequately through Thing Speak IOT platform and dependent on basic qualities, the ready framework is created to give alert on crisis conditions. The patient monitoring system designed here not only used for monitoring purpose also developed a software module to control the limitations and data collected from the patients are further fetched to analyse the critical happenings based on the pattern of abnormality.

Failure clustering aims to group multiple test failures based on shared root causes, helping developers to comprehend and debug each root cause (i.e., the underlying fault) in isolation. Clustering of failing test executions requires distances between those executions, for which distance measures between coverage vectors are widely used. Lexical representation of coverage has been suggested as an alternative, representing each structural element covered by a failing execution with the lexical tokens in the element. This paper investigates whether the granularity of the lexical representation affects the effectiveness of the failure clustering. We evaluate varying levels of tokenisation granularity by using them for clustering coexisting real-world test failures in Defects4J benchmark. Our results show that the traditionally adopted subtokenisation can actually deconstruct larger meaningful semantic token units, resulting in suboptimal clustering.

As the controller of software and hardware resources, the operating system is the cornerstone of the normal operation of the entire computer system, and its safety is of utmost importance. Since vulnerabilities are one of the main causes of security problems, in this paper, we choose to study the security of the OS mainly from the perspective of vulnerabilities. To this end, we design a system called Vtopia. By using it, we not only identify and analyze the vulnerabilities of 150 Linux OSes, but also explore the correlation between system security and some other features of Linux. The experiments have yielded many valuable findings. For example, Gentoo system generally has the most vulnerabilities, while Bluestar has the least. There is no obvious correlation between the number of software and the number of vulnerabilities in the systems.

In the wireless magnetic induction communication system, the magnetic field distribution of the current-carrying coil affects the communication effect between the communication transceiver. In the study of magnetic field distribution, it was found that magnetic induction intensity and magnetic flux were important parameters to measure the effectiveness of communication. Aiming at the circular coils with rectangular cross-section, this paper proposed an improved algorithm to calculate the magnetic induction intensity at any spatial position based on Biot-Savart law. At the same time, the calculation formula of the magnetic flux at the receiving point was also given. The coils were modeled and simulated with COMSOL and Mathematica software. Through the comparison of the two modeling methods, the correctness of the improved algorithm was verified, which provided an important theoretical support for the further study of mutual inductance in the wireless magnetic induction communication system.

With the rapid development of power Internet of Things (IoT), the ubiquitous edge agents are frequently exposed in a risky environment, where the white-box attacker could steal all the internal information by full observation of dynamic execution of the cryptographic software. In this situation, a new table-based white-box cryptography implementation of SM4 algorithm is proposed to prevent the attacker from extracting the secret key, which hides the encryption and decryption process in obfuscated lookup tables. Aiming to improve the diversity and ambiguity of the lookup tables as well as resist different types of white-box attacks, the random bijective nonlinear mappings are applied as scrambling encodings of the lookup tables. Moreover, in order to make our implementation more practical in the resource-constrained edge IoT agent, elaborate design is proposed to make some tables reusability, leading to less memory occupation while guaranteeing the security. The validity and security of the proposed implementation will be illustrated through several evaluation indicators.

The dynamics of a large variety of systems such as micro-grids and parallel hybrid cars can be described using finite state machines. The optimal control of these systems leads to mixed-integer non-linear programming (MINLP) problems. This class of problems typically belongs to the non-deterministic polynomial-time hard problems since they combine both the computational intensity of solving problems with discrete variables and the complexity of solving nonlinear functions. In the last decade, different techniques are developed to reach a global optimal solution for convex MINLP problems, such as branch & bound, outer approximation or the generalized benders decomposition algorithm. These techniques often have difficulties in efficiently handling the constraints of state machines. These constraints include the minimum time to stay within a state or the minimum cycle time before the same state can be reached again. In order to tackle these issues, the paper proposes a new technique that exploits the properties of a state machine within the branch & bound tree to reduce execution time. This reduction is achieved by separately solving the state machine variables and relaxing the switches between states using sigmoid functions. As a result, the technique reduces the number of explored nodes in the branch & bound tree significantly. The algorithm can be used in an online optimization strategy when employing a model predictive control framework that preserves added constraints from a previous iteration in the next iteration. A numerical simulation demonstrates the computational efficiency of this algorithm.
