Existing power communication supervision systems cannot serve as a network management systems. A software model of a network management system is proposed to meet the requirements of the development of power communication systems. The model contains four parts: operating system; application system; man-machine interface; and database. The structure and function of these parts is studied based on actual situations and requirements.

Simulation and visualization (S&V) enable the knowledge exploration in different domains. It supports the hazardous, danger, time-consuming or complex scenario to be created and practiced. Previous studies based on environmental-based software models, were found inadequate to meet the different and dynamic users' need. Earlier works were specified commonly for industrial use and less attention on the learning domains although previous researchers found that environmental-based learning activities could enhanced students' interest and motivation in learning process. This paper proposes the software model for learning the impact of quarry industry on green environment or PRInK model which consists of Computer Assisted Learning (CAI);Stage and motivation process;Environmental data;Learning outcome;and Adaptation to the scenario. This study suggests the development of Environment Educational Learning System or EELS which is based on the PRInK model. The software model for EELS comprises of system architecture, use case and data flow diagram. The software model is used to visualize the abstraction of the proposed EELS prototype system and to document the requirements. The PRInK model and the EELS system apply the environmental computational model in S&V and 5E learning model that allow users to experience the engagement, exploration, explanation, elaboration and evaluation in the learning process. This paper contributes to the establishment of reference model for software development through simulation and visualization in supporting the learning requirements based on actual industry scenario.

The study of multi-agent systems usually begins by implementing a base-algorithm, which is changed as required by the aim of the research. In this context, carrying out different algorithms, which have already been established, is not a trivial task as it requires implementing these algorithms. This paper presents a software model that allows one to prototype variations of the Ant Colony Optimization metaheuristic. This model can be used to avoid implementations in duplicity, allowing, with less effort, the generation of different algorithms to be used on the same problem. Results shown that, specially for more elaborated algorithms, the adoption of the proposed software model reduce significantly the coding effort required. In this poster, we present a new lightweight multi-threaded software model for target location detection system. Our localization algorithm is based on trilateration using RSSI for ranging. This work can be applied for collecting the location information of mobile sensor nodes in the network. Our software runs on the sensor nodes and on the base station. To support our clam we performed experimental analysis on telosb motes.

The paper depicts nowadays approach for object-oriented hardware modeling, synthesis, implementation, and management. Implementation is realized for the control and diagnosis class of multichannel, distributed measurement systems based on FPGA chips. The paper presents a solution described as a software model based on a method of address space management called the Component Internal Interface (CII) and its aftermath: its' updated version Virtual Bus CII (vBUScomp). Therefore, progress and evaluation of these methods and differences between them are described. The article presents the software model implemented as an independent tool for test, maintenance, verification, and development CII based reconfigurable hardware systems.

Although past research has resulted in different means to deal with software model quality, creation of adequate software models remains challenging. Any modelling effort must be carefully analysed and planned before it starts, and definition or adoption of modelling guidelines is usually necessary. In addition, the amount of publications addressing model quality in practice is low, and the knowledge about others' experience regarding model quality is limited. This paper reports on our experience in dealing with software model quality in the context of a project between industry and academia. Such a project corresponds to a large-scale research project in which modelling has been used both as part of the necessary work for executing the project and for creating project results. We present how we have dealt with model quality in requirements modelling and in conceptual model specification, as well as a set of lessons learned. The insights provided can help both researchers and practitioners when having to deal with software model quality.

During the development of software systems, various software models are created in the software design phase. The models are being further modified not only by customers' changes in system requirements, but as well by design decisions based on problems being solved. These changes are sometimes not visible without previous familiarity with original versions of software models, which can cause loss of efficiency not only for software analysts, but also for developers, who must reflect these modifications into source code. The solution to these problems can be found in the proposed method for visualization of modifications in software models, which visualizes modifications directly in diagrams and supports interaction with the modifications. As the basis for the difference detection, we propose an extendible modelling architecture. We evaluate this architecture and the proposed method via working prototype which compares two model versions given in XMI form and visualizes their differences. The evaluation proves that our method significantly shortens time necessary to detect differences by developers and also decreases a number of unidentified differences.

Public space such as schools, cinemas, shopping malls, etc. must have an emergency evacuation system in place. Such places are also required to follow certain regulations and protocols for emergency evacuation to assure the safety of their occupants inside from any unpredictable incident. For nearly two decades, companies/organizations are using simulation models/software for evacuation planning. Researchers are working on these software models to improve the efficiency using latest algorithms. This thesis focuses on creating a base software model of evacuation systems for 3D indoor environments to simulate physical changes such as retractable chairs, movable walls etc., to evaluate their effectiveness before committing to those changes. This research tries to address various flaws and shortcomings of previous software. We are using tools like Unity 3D and Autodesk Maya to simulate suggested changes. It provides planners as well as researchers a new perspective to work on new recommended physical changes to design public venues.

This paper proposes a new data acquisition client-software model used for the Mobile Application Analysis. Compared with the existing software models, the model proposed in this paper can improve the reuse rate and reduce the code duplication rate of software, it can also share data between multiple applications. The paper gives overview of the software model, then discusses the necessity and function of each module respectively and defines the call relationships between modules. To explain the runtime status of the model accurately, this paper also defines internal and external event types that drive the model. In order to verify the feasibility of the proposed model, the experiments are performed on the Android operating system using the proposed model. At last, the experimental results show that the proposed software model is feasible.

It is very significant for offering the biggest green wave for the vehicles of the urban main roads, reducing the vehicle delay and stop times by the computer model which is used for researching, designing and testing the scheme and real effect of the bidirectional green wave of the urban roads. This paper introduces in detail about the software design idea of the signal scheme of the bidirectional green wave, establishes the software model, and has an actual verification from six intersections of the Huang Shan Rd. in Hefei city. The result shows that the software model can realize the bidirectional green wave signal control of the urban main roads effectively and expediently.
