Fault-based testing is a powerful technique to ensure the quality of software by evaluating the efficacy of the test suits and also used to check the thoroughness of testing performed by other software testing techniques. However, it is very complicated and computationally expensive testing method. Literature shows that there is a tremendous effort to give formal solutions and heuristics methods. Recently, state-of-the-art approaches based on hybrid optimization techniques have been proven to be suitable for cost effective results. This work implements and presents a multi-objective novel hybrid method by combining Backtracking search optimization algorithm and Integer programming approach(BackIP). Unlike, some other approaches, BackIP is a test input data generation method which includes test data generation, mutation analysis, and test suite reduction simultaneously. Experimental comparison is conducted on a widely used benchmark java programs and results show that the proposed approach achieves test data generation with mutation score up to 94% and improved test suite reduction between 70% to 94% as compared to the state-of-the-art techniques.

This paper studies the key technology of ID card recognition for online consumer identification method, which involves image processing, pattern recognition, neural network, and other fields, and based on the key technology of the system software programming, testing and demonstrating the results of identification. The processing and identification method used in this paper is relatively simple, easy to implement, and has a good identification effect, provides an effective id card automatic identification system scheme. The method proposed in this paper can be used for the fast identification of consumers on live broadcast platforms, for subsequent recommendation classification tasks, and intelligent recommendation algorithms.

Aiming at the problem that blurred digital video is easy to lose inter-frame information and ignore spatiotemporal during restoration, a video image deblurring algorithm based on denoising engine is proposed. We extend the adaptive Laplacian regularization term constructed by the denoising engine to the field of video image restoration. Firstly, the video image self-similarity redundant information can be gained through the nonlocal means (NLM) regularization, and then we present a new restoration model by mixing different regularizers, especially by combining NLM regularizer with the denoising regularizer. To solve the video image restoration model, we used the simplest gradient descent method. The experimental results show that our method has good deblurring effect and certain robustness to noise.

This work is devoted to the creation of an automated design system for designing open distribution devices. The main task that is solved by this system is the search for the best layout option of the scheme from the point of view of saving the area of the territory. The paper proposes an approach to form distribution device circuit breakers and the effectiveness of the occupied area. When searching for solutions, the efficiency coefficient of occupied area is used, which makes it possible to get away from the cost indicators. An example of calculation and obtained during the study of the efficiency coefficients for various layouts of schemes with tires are given. The work is made in the original software product of the wrench CAD.

The paper presents the results of gas-reciprocating model-range analysis with a capacity from 100 up to 1000 kW produced by LLC “Fedwig”. The analysis was made in terms of payback period calculation by the author methodology. The paper presents the developed authors methodology for payback period calculation and it software implementation for automation and simplifying calculations. The authors methodology and its software implementations will be helpful for engineers and technical personnel while choosing the optimal gas-reciprocating unit type due the it uses as in-enterprise power sources of electric and thermal power at industrial enterprises. The results of payback period calculation, by author software, gave the opportunity to obtain the characteristics of payback periods versus the gas-reciprocating units power and values of the annual savings versus the power of the gas piston unit. The data presented in open sources, such as manufacturers data sheet for gas-reciprocating units were used in the article as an initial. The results present the characteristics of the annual savings and characteristic has a nonlinear dependence due not only to the cost and gas-reciprocating unit power, but also on the value of the associated operating costs, which are differ for each unit type.

This paper designs and implements a dedicated microprocessor architecture based on the RISC-V (the fifth-generation Reduced Instruction Set Computing) with only 20 instructions for arbitrary-point FFT (Fast Fourier Transform) algorithm. Moreover, the corresponding SoC (System-on-Chip) is also built for the expansibility and reconfigurability. The methodology of software and hardware co-verification is applied to validate the correctness of the systematic functions by comparing the simulation results between MATLAB, Visual Studio 2019 and VIVADO 2019.1. Finally, the Xilinx Artix-7 (XC7A100TFGG484-2) FPGA (Field Programmable Gate Array) platform is used for implementation and prototyping of the proposed hardware system, which totally uses 1897 LUTs (Look-Up Tables), 361 FFs (Flip-Flops) and 25 BRAMs (Block Random Access Memory) and consumes 2.016W at 100MHz. The experimental results show that the presented system can realize the FFT algorithm at any point by reconfiguring the parameters of software and expanding the capacity of the memory, and it is suitable for the embedded applications due to the small area and low power consumption.

Combinatorial testing is an effective software testing technique, which has gained wide attention on industry and academic. It detects faults triggered by the interactions among parameters relevant to software through selection of a reasonably sized set, which consists of the combination of the values of these parameters. However, as the complexity of software system increases, the time cost increases greatly, which leads how to efficiently generate the smallest coverage array under the given input parameter model to become the major sticking points in some scenarios. In order to address this issue, by analyzing existing generation algorithms, it is found that these algorithms are based on the complete input parameter model constructed in the first step of combinatorial testing. This paper proposes a test case generation method of combinatorial testing based on $\tau$ -way testing and adaptive random testing which test cases can be generated partially using $\tau$ -way strategy and partially using adaptive random testing by splitting the input parameter model, so as to achieve a balance between effectiveness and efficiency in a specific scenario. To this end, experimental results show that the proposed method has better faults detection ability and the computational overhead of test case generation on subject Tcas program.

Due to the rising popularity and interest in autonomous vehicles, it is beneficial to build a low-cost prototype autonomous vehicle for educational purposes. Thus, more students would be able to acquire hands-on experiences in designing and implementing critical smart navigational functionalities for autonomous vehicles. In this study, Proportional-Integral-Derivative (PID) control and steering control algorithms are developed to maneuver a 1/10-scale autonomous vehicle in a real-world scaled-down driving environment. An obstacle detection system is also designed. The state-of-the-art Robot Operating System (ROS) is employed in the software development and vehicle control to communicate between components. This paper, as part of a few related papers on autonomous vehicle from our research group, focuses on the control algorithms design and implementation, which incorporates continuous real-time feedback to generate a correction value to keep the vehicle on track. The algorithm combines the lane tracking, stop sign detection, and obstacle detection of the vehicle and sends data values to motors. Experimental results suggest the efficacy of our developed approaches. The future work of this study is discussed.

The article highlights the applications of the algorithm for speech signal recognition using a formant set. A description of the formation of the speech signal by the human articulating apparatus is given. The influence of the human speech apparatus organs on the formant parameter is also described. The Linear Prediction Method (LPC) is used for determining the formant set in order to identify the peaks on the spectral diagram of the original signal. The paper presents the formant set for the Uzbek vowels pronounced by several speakers of the same age category with different genders after cochlear surgery. Based on the formant set graphs are constructed and classification problems over them are solved using machine learning algorithms such as K-Nearest Neighbors, Random Forest, Support Vector Machines. The scientific paper consists of a comparative analysis of the three main classification methods on such a priority parameter as recognition accuracy in order to simplify the process of speech signal recognition. The results of the classification revealed that the recognition of Uzbek vowel letters on the basis of the formant set is achieved using KNN and is 95%.

Bottlenecks are common in pedestrian facilities and prone to congestion. An observation experiment was conducted at the asymmetric bottleneck to study pedestrians' movement. We constructed the simulation by Pathfinder to make comparison and further study the influence of bottleneck angles by simulation results. It is found Pathfinder can simulate the evacuation at the asymmetric bottleneck based on similar efficiency and congestion. However, the difference exists in the trajectory and speed fluctuation for the simulation. Adding the funnel-shaped zone before the exit in the asymmetric bottleneck can improve the evacuation efficiency and reduce congestion and the angle 45° performs the best according to the simulation. These results have a reference for the improvement of evacuation efficiency in the asymmetric bottleneck and reflect the effectiveness and problems of the simulation software Pathfinder.
