In modern electronic systems, the energy efficiency of microprocessors has become an important factor in determining their performance and application scope. With the rapid development of mobile devices, Internet of Things (IoT) and portable electronics, low-power microprocessor design has become particularly important. The aim of this paper is to explore low-power microprocessor design and optimization techniques, focusing on how to effectively reduce power consumption without significantly affecting performance. We begin with an overview of the fundamentals and major challenges of low-power design, followed by an in-depth analysis of a variety of optimization techniques at the architectural level, circuit level, and algorithmic and software levels. This paper demonstrates the effects and tradeoffs of these techniques in practical applications through specific case studies, and provides an outlook on future trends and research directions in low-power microprocessor design. It provides a theoretical foundation and practical guidance for realizing more efficient and energy-saving microprocessor design, which has important academic value and application prospects.

This paper researches the consensus mechanism of Ethereum, focusing on the analysis and research of the consensus algorithm. The consensus algorithm is the kernel of Ethereum implementation, which is the most computationally intensive, time-consuming and occupies much memory. The concrete implementation architecture and method of heterogeneous operation are analyzed and implemented on the Xilinx ZCU106 platform. Finally, the verification content has been obtained.

As modern control theory attempts to elucidate the complexity of systems that combine differential equations and event-driven logic, it must overcome challenges having to do with limited expressive power as well as practical difficulties associated with translating control algorithms into robust and reusable software. The Motion Description Language (MDL) and its "extended" counterpart MDLe, have been at the center of an ongoing effort to make progress on both of these fronts. The goal of this paper is to define MDLe as a formal language, thereby connecting with the vast literature on the subject, and to stimulate experimental work. We discuss the expressive power of MDLe and provide some examples of MDLe programs.

The expansion of the aviation sector, especially in low-altitude airspace, is driving the need for integration of conventional Air Traffic Management (ATM) and Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) Traffic Management (UTM). This integration is also important to accelerate the uptake of emerging Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) technologies and the establishment of feasible use cases for both urban and regional transport modes. To this end, this paper presents the conceptual design of an Intelligent Cyber Physical System (ICPS) for Multi-Domain Traffic Management (MDTM), which is intended to facilitate the safe, efficient and sustainable operation of manned and unmanned aircraft. This ICPS is based on recent advances in Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) systems for ATM, along with onboard Avionics (CNS+A), with automated decision-making functions to guarantee Separation Assurance and Collision Avoidance (SACA) in both cooperative and non-cooperative scenarios. The proposed ICPS design utilizes multi-objective 4D trajectory (4DT) optimization algorithms and intelligent Demand-Capacity Balancing (DCB), providing an effective solution to multi-domain airspace management. This paper sheds light on the benefits and challenges of this integrated approach and presents the overall MDTM architecture, focusing on the hardware components and software functions required in both the aircraft Flight Management Systems (FMS) and ground-based Decision Support Systems (DSS). Moreover, an innovative methodology for calculating the safe separation distance between manned and unmanned aircraft is presented, showing the effect of using different CNS technologies on the safe separation distance and avoidance volume.

The college entrance examination is vital for program admission. Typically, entrance examinations are conducted onsite using paper and pens. When the COVID-19 pandemic hit, the entrance examination was lifted and physical gatherings were prohibited. Since many schools cannot offer an online admissions exam, they rely on grades and interviews to admit and qualify students for degree programs. However, academic standards differ between schools, and grades may not be enough to assess students' capacity. Thus, this study aims to develop an Online Proctored Entrance Examination System (OPEES) with Degree Program Recommender for colleges and universities to help institutions administer onsite or online entrance tests and generate course suggestions using a rulebased algorithm. The study employed the scrum methodology in software development. OPEES allows applicants to submit applications online, and institutions can manage user accounts, tailor exams and degree programs’ criteria, manage exam dates, and assign proctors. Online proctoring using Jitsi, an opensource multiplatform voice, video, and instant messaging tool with end-to-end encryption, ensures exam integrity. The system’s features were evaluated by 102 respondents, comprised of end-users (students and school personnel) and IT professionals, using the FURPS (Functionality, Usability, Reliability, Performance, and Supportability) software quality model. In the software evaluation, the overall system proved to be functional as perceived by the respondents, as manifested by the mean rating of 4.61. In conclusion, the system's architecture was deemed feasible and offers a better way to streamline admission examinations and determine a student’s applicable degree program by enabling institutions to customize their exams and degree program requirements. It will be beneficial to look into recommendation system algorithms and historical enrollment data to improve the system’s use case.

Test oracles are playing a vital role in automated software testing to determine whether the test cases are succeeded or not. Designing the test cases become rigid in some areas of application testing due to the complexity and unavailability. Metamorphic testing emerged as an alternate to alleviate the test oracle problems in testing, by implementing metamorphic relations instead of test oracles. Many researchers were applied metamorphic testing to various real time applications like Machine Learning, bioinformatics, Network simulations, Computer graphics and compilers to overcome the test oracle problem and to feasible result verification. Graph Theory is a prominent non-numeric technology of mathematics and widely used in many gaming and other real time applications. Testing and verifying these combinatorial graph theory applications with test oracle is a very expensive and inaccurate process under many circumstances. In this paper we proposed metamorphic testing to address the problems of testing graph theory applications. This process employs the metamorphic relations of graph theory to simplify testing and alleviates the expensive test oracle utilization. Our case studies on shortest path and minimal spanning tree testing explains the applicability and advantages of metamorphic relations in the area of graph theory in detail.

The SM4 algorithm is a symmetric key block cipher that uses a Feistel structure and is widely applied in the confidentiality of information and data. This paper explores the process and performance evaluation of implementing the SM4 symmetric encryption algorithm on an FPGA platform. As a national standard encryption algorithm in China, SM4 is widely used for data protection and information security. In this study, we utilized Quartus II software for design and simulation, and ModelSim for verification, ensuring the correctness and efficiency of the algorithm implementation. In the experiments, we employed the 5AGXFB3H4F35I3 FPGA device to implement the core functionalities of the SM4 algorithm. Through reasonable allocation of logic resources, we optimized the balance between speed and efficiency. The experimental results demonstrate that the implemented SM4 algorithm can effectively perform encryption tasks on the FPGA platform. This research provides strong support for the hardware acceleration of the SM4 algorithm in practical applications, which demonstrated the wide range of applications of FPGA in the field of information security.

A novel auto motor production line control system is presented to achieve reconfiguration production that deals with quick reaction to multi-product and lots variations. Based on configuration principle, the whole system includes configuration software subsystem, workshop scheduling subsystem using Petri net-GA algorithm, process variables data collection and analysis subsystem. The configuration software is the core part to manage new production line configurations. The control system can be configured easily for the process monitoring of a given auto motor specification since reconfigurable components are modular structures. The principle and framework of the system are explained in detail, and furthermore, the example of application to SAAE Co., Ltd. is discussed that illustrates the effectivity of the proposed control system

Robots of today are equipped with lightweight computing resources used merely to make the robot function. However, proportional advancements in associated data processing and algorithms are needed, given the significant advances in robots’ sensing and programming capabilities and the increasingly complex tasks they must complete. Yet, such advancements require additional hardware resources to function as intended. In many robotic applications, cloud computing is not an option; therefore, edge computing must be embraced. This paper proposes a sizing tool for benchmarking workloads against pre-written tasks to determine optimal edge computing hardware candidates used to deploy said workloads efficiently without wasting resources. This research is devoted to the design and implementation of an automatic search and rescue UAV system based on Jetson Nano and PX4 Pixhawk. The system combines advanced color recognition algorithm and efficient automatic search and rescue strategy, aiming at accurately recognizing the color of the target and performing corresponding rescue tasks in complex environment. Through careful hardware design and software implementation, this article successfully constructs a stable and reliable UAV system, and verifies its performance in the test environment. The test results show that the system has high-precision color recognition ability and efficient search and rescue efficiency. No matter what lighting conditions, this method can maintain a stable recognition rate, and the recognition rate is mostly close to or reaches 100%, which has good robustness and real-time performance. Through the continuous development of technology, it is believed that the automatic search and rescue UAV system will play an increasingly important role in the future rescue field and provide more effective protection for people's lives and property.
