In our rapidly evolving technological landscape, the significance of electricity performance in our homes has become more critical than ever. With the widespread use of smart devices in our daily lives, there are both advantages and disadvantages, particularly in terms of power consumption. The lack of real-time monitoring of energy usage can lead to environmental issues and increased energy bills. To address these concerns, we propose the implementation of a comprehensive energy monitoring system equipped with a Thin-Film Transistor (TFT) capacitive touch display. This system not only provides users with immediate insights into the power consumption of their devices but also gives them control over the ON/OFF state of these devices. This innovative technology empowers individuals to make informed decisions about their energy usage, resulting in significant savings for both their wallets and the environment. With this system, users can effortlessly track and manage their energy consumption in real-time. The Thin-Film Transistor capacitive touch display enhances user experience by presenting information in a user-friendly format. This user interface allows for seamless interaction with the monitoring system, enabling users to easily understand and interpret their energy usage patterns.

With the country's strong support for infrastructure, tunnel-related projects are also increasing daily. Combined with the current Internet of Things (IoT) technology booming, the realization of intelligent construction has become the mainstream direction of today's tunnel construction. This design is mainly realized by combining IOT communication technology, sensor technology, and microcontroller technology. stm32 microcontroller acts as the system's central processing unit and receives real-time information on gas concentration, smoke concentration, pipe wall pressure, and water level collected by various sensors, then displays the data on the LED display after data processing. When the environmental data exceeds the standard, it will automatically drive and adjust the water pumps and fans and simultaneously move the WiFi module to remotely send the data to the mobile phone APP through the Internet cloud server. After actual testing, the system can meet the design requirements and further improve the safety and convenience of tunnel construction.

Enhanced energy efficiency smart buildings through LoRaWAN and adaptive machine learning techniques

Smart building can play a crucial role in optimizing energy consumption and overall efficiency. In this research we present a smart building system specifically designed for educational institutions to improve energy efficiency and durability. The system integrates an stm32 microcontroller, a three-phase energy meter, Long Range Wide Area Network (LoRaWAN) connectivity and The Thing Network (TTN) cloud. A key innovation is the use of Deep Q-Network (DQN), a machine learning algorithm that automates the complex task of analyzing energy consumption patterns in laboratories and classrooms which eliminates the need of installing traditional observation methods. Energy monitoring in educational institutions are undergoing a significant transformation with the integration of LoRaWAN and TTN which results in significant energy savings. The systems notable features include the ability to independently measure the energy consumption of 60 computers, 80 LED lights and 75 fans located throughout the building. Our work proves that the energy management and load balancing can be achieved using an intelligent meter coupled with an stm32 microcontroller with the TTN and the facility manager can gain real time insight into how energy is used, enabling them to optimize their energy usage. The implementation of this LoRaWAN based system results in 23% reduction of overall energy consumption over six months which highlights the effectiveness of promoting sustainable energy practices within the educational settings. This research addresses challenges related to diverse data scenarios and scaling limitations by promoting a sustainable and smart learning environment.

Wireless charging devices do not require any physical connections to send electricity from a source to a load. WPTs are appealing for many industrial applications because they provide advantages over their wired equivalents, such as the elimination of exposed wires, ease of charging, and fearless power transfer in hazardous environments. Many firms are working to build and improve numerous similar topologies because they want to use WPTs (Wireless Power Transfer Systems) to replenish an electric vehicle's (EV) onboard batteries. WPT is enabled via a moderate inductive connection between each transmitter and receiver. Transmitter coils are buried in the ground for EV charging applications, while receiver coils are installed in cars. Because of its higher efficiency, resonant inductive WPT is commonly employed for medium-high power transfer applications such as EV charging. WPT technology is being used to charge an electric car that is being used as a test subject for on-board batteries. The electric automobile is powered by two in-wheel motors in the rear wheels, each capable of producing up to 4 kW, and four series-connected 12V, 100A VRLA batteries. Three main stages were included in the effort;the first step involved doing an overview of wired EV battery chargers and charging methodologies. A set of defined Figures of Merit (FOM) is used to describe resonant WPTs to changes in resistive load and coupling coefficient. The history of several WPT technologies is then examined. In the second stage, the WPT system for the study case was created. In the third stage, a WPT system prototype has been built and put through testing. The WPT system is designed after evaluating each section's specific parameters and estimating how system parameters effect performance. © 2023 IEEE.

Digital Eddy Current Detection Method Based on High-Speed Sampling with stm32

The electromagnetic eddy current non-destructive testing system enables the non-destructive analysis of surface defect information on tested materials. Based on the principles of eddy current detection, this paper presents a digital eddy current detection method using high-speed sampling based on stm32. A differential eddy current coil is used as the detection probe, and the combination of a differential bridge and a differential amplifier circuit helps to reduce common-mode noise interference. The detection signal is collected via an stm32-based acquisition circuit and transmitted to the host computer through Ethernet for digital demodulation processing. The host computer performs operations such as smoothing averaging, sinusoidal fitting, and outlier removal to extract the amplitude and phase of the detection signal. The system also visually displays the condition of the tested object's surface in real time through graphical visualization. Testing showed that this system can operate at frequencies up to 8.84 MHz and clearly identify defects as narrow as 1 mm on the surface of the tested steel plate.

In view of the stress of people's life in modern life, they frequently suffer from mental illness, such as depression, autism, mental illness and a series of problems. A design of an embedded real-time controllable multi-channel transcranial DC stimulator system based on stm32 is proposed. The DC stimulator is controlled by the stm32 microcontroller, which integrates the power supply module, communication module, impedance monitoring module, etc. Intelligent algorithms are used to optimize human-machine interaction in software design. The user can adjust the treatment parameters through the relevant control interface and intelligent treatment through a combination of treatment channels and treatment modes.

Comparative Analysis of Analogue and Digital Methods for Magnetic Flux Estimation in the Core of a Medium-Voltage Voltage Transformer Operating Under Ferroresonance Conditions

The main objective of the research described in the article was to determine the following: Is it possible to estimate the magnetic flux linkage in the core of a voltage transformer using analogue or digital methods? Will it be possible to estimate it approximately both in the normal state and in the state of deep core saturation (ferroresonant state)? The research aimed to identify the advantages and disadvantages of both proposed estimation methods. As part of the research described in this paper, a simulation model was developed and executed in the MATLAB/Simulink environment to generate a series of secondary voltage and flux waveforms in voltage transformers. The secondary voltage and flux waveforms were modelled under ground fault conditions, initiating ferroresonance oscillations in the medium-voltage network. To determine the associated flux from the simulated secondary voltages of the voltage transformers, an analogue integration circuit, a voltage analogue input circuit and a numerical integration algorithm with offset elimination were developed and implemented in an stm32 microcontroller. The obtained reference flux waveforms were used to verify the accuracy of the estimation of flux waveforms obtained using the analogue and digital methods. As a result, it was determined that both methods allow for a relatively accurate estimation of the periodic component of the magnetic flux. It also presented how both methods respond to the presence of slowly changing (aperiodic) components. Possible applications were proposed in order to create an innovative criterion for detecting ferroresonance oscillations.

Many older adults with Alzheimer's disease and patients with conditions such as spinal nerve injuries haw symptoms of urinary incontinence. In order to improve their quality of life, B-mode ultrasound and drainage tubes are often used to measure the urine accumulation in the human bladder. In this paper, an ultrasonic urine system based on A-mode ultrasound is developed for measuring the urine accumulation in the human bladder. The ultrasound urine system contains three parts: the collection device, the mobile terminal, and the upper data processing software. In the collection device, the stm32 microcontroller sends out a pulse signal with a rate of 2.5MH z to excite the ultrasonic transducer through the ultrasonic transmitter circuit Ultrasonic transducer receives the echo signals by the ultrasonic receiving circuit processing into digital signals, stm32 microcontroller transmits them to the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal transmits the digital signals to the upper data processing software for processing and receives the calculation results for display. We conducted tests on a bladder simulator. We conducted three sets of experiments and measured the transducer to baffle distance of 30mm, 40mm, and 50mm. The accuracy of the system measurements in three sets of experiments were 99.8%, 99.65%, and 99.52%. Experimental results verify the effectiveness of the system.
