The SDGs on sustainable production and consumption, zero hunger, and clean water are critical for the functioning of agricultural systems. The current food production systems are highly resource-intensive and environmentally intrusive. Farm practices account for about 70% of global freshwater withdrawals and 31% of GHG emissions, making farming a significant contributor to climate change. High input use intensity of fertilizers has triggered a debate on long-term agro-ecological security. This research aims to determine the critical factors involved in intensive fertilization due to enhanced pressure on maintaining the balance between environmental security and food security. The study highlights the significance of holistic land and water management in agri-ecosystems. The agrarian states of Uttar Pradesh and Punjab, India, were identified for conducting survey studies. A total of 620 farmers were administered a questionnaire capturing the socio-economic characteristics of farmers, fertilizer use patterns, and factors influencing natural resource management. Factor analysis followed by structural equation modelling was applied to assess the critical parameters affecting the use of fertilizer by the key stakeholders. Factor analysis identified economic support and benefits, resource endowments, institutional capacity, enabling environment, situational factors, and tangible/intangible factors as the critical elements of intensive fertilization. Path analysis showed an insignificant relationship between propensity to resource management and on-farm practices, indicating the intention-behavior gap. A conflict exists between the farmer's propensity to resource management and their action on the farm. It was observed that the farmer's main deciding factor during fertilizer application is productivity enhancement, which is influenced by supporting socio-economic, market, and institutional factors overruling the environmental impacts of excessive usage.

For a positive and peace of mind, the family environment will play a crucial role. In the present paper, it is analyzed that the family environment of women police of Chennai city for which 10 features are observed from 578 respondent. The Wilcoxon signed rank test showed that the factor "family Support" and "Disclose Feelings" have greater significant level from the neutral reply "Neither disagree nor agree" whereas the remaining are significantly different from the neutral reply. The structural equation modelling is then proposed and the root mean square error of approximation (RMSEA) and standardized root mean square residual (SRMR) for the proposed model are respectively 0.083 and 0.054. These values indicate that the proposed model is good.

PurposeAccording to the anthropological importance of soft facial tissue thickness parameters, we aimed to find the association of these parameters with Lur and Arab ethnicities, gender and body mass index (BMI). structural equation modeling (SEM) was *** a secondary analysis, SEM was performed on a dataset of 100 participants. The participants were from Lur and Arab populations of Ahvaz province, Iran, from those who referred for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) due to *** regression illustrated that mental eminence (ME), chain-lip fold (CLF) and end of nasals (END) could not be predicted by the independent variables (p > 0.05). Right masseteric region (RMST) had the maximum predictability with R-2 = 0.365, followed by middle philtrum (MID) with R-2 = 0.358 (p < 0.001). With respect to our criterion to enter SEM, i.e. existing at least two significant covariates at significance level of 0.05, among staying parameters, only parameters of nasion (NA), MID, superior lip (SL), RMST and left masseteric region (LMST) remained. Among these cases, MID was the only parameter that its three covariates illustrated significant *** parameter can be predicted by gender, BMI and Arab ethnicity. By carrying out such studies and creating database, such information can be used in plastic surgery, corpse identification, and facial reconstruction software in archeology.

This paper aims to estimate segments of latent variables associated with mode choice. The estimates of latent segmentation is obtained through structural equation modelling (SEM) approach. The model is used to identify segments of homogeneous latent variables for attitude towards choice of feeder modes. The Scholars from different nations have contributed greatly in identifying conventional factors affecting the mode choice behavior. Apparently, very few studies have focused on analyzing latent variables affecting the choice of a mode. Specifically, feeder modes, which are likely to increase the mode shift to the public transport mode through improved door- bus stop connectivity. Thus, this study was carried out with an aim to identify the effect of latent variables on the mode choice behavior of the riders for proposed feeder modes. The proposed modes are Environment-Friendly for added benefits of pollution control. The selected study area is the city of Vadodara, in Gujarat state of India. For this, 41 latent variables were identified from the literature review. Data was collected through a predetermined and framed questionnaire. The latent variables with their indicators were checked by preliminary Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA), using SPSS software. Six hypotheses were framed to determine the interrelationship between the latent variables through structural equation modelling (SEM) using the Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) software. Based on the outliers, communalities extraction and, correlation criteria, the indicators were reduced to 26. The results of the segmental analysis model reveal that the four framed latent variables positively affect the mode choice behavior of a rider. Hence, inculcating these latent variables while proposing an Environment-Friendly feeder mode may result in increased mode choice. Which can be predicted through choice models as a future scope.

The purpose of this paper is to deploy a structural equation modeling approach through the Partial Small Square technique to validate the disruptions factors that affect livestock supply chain performance. The disruption prediction factors were obtained from the analysis of literature studies and data from the Department of Veterinary Services (DSV) and expert evaluation. Factors considered in the study model are Livestock Process, Finance, Breeders, Quality, Facilities, Technology, Demand, Supply, Information Communication, Sales, Transportation, Government Involvement, Disaster and Syariah Compliance. The results of the study found that the factors of Livestock Process, Finance, Breeders, Livestock Quality, Technology, Supply, Sales, Transportation, Government Involvement and Syariah Compliance were accepted as disruptions in the livestock supply chain. The findings of this study will assist farmers and livestock stakeholders to take necessary measures to minimise the disruption and further the government's goal of enlivening small and medium livestock enterprises in Malaysia.

Research on restorative perception mechanisms in rural landscapes based on structural equation modelling

To alleviate the emotional stress in modern urban life, people are increasingly relying on restorative environments to retain their physical and mental well-being. The rural landscape is an underestimated potential restorative environment. This study took the traditional rural settlement "Linpan" in Chengdu as representative rural landscape, which was further divided into tourist and agricultural rural landscapes. A structural equation model was used to construct a restoration perception mechanism consisting of landscape elements perception, place attachment, recreational activity preference, and restorative perception. The results showed that the perception score of farmland and woodland in agricultural rural landscapes were the highest, and buildings in tourism rural landscapes were more effective. Landscape elements perception, place attachment, recreational activity preference all have a significant impact on restorative perception (P < 0.05), with place attachment being the most critical mediating factor affecting restorative perception (Standardized path coefficient = 0.805, P < 0.001). Gender (positive moderating effect for male), age (positive), professionalism and the degree of familiarity with the rural landscape (negative) had significant moderating effects (P < 0.05). The results of the study provide recommendations for rural landscape construction and tourism development, especially through the design of landscape elements and pro-natural activities to improve tourists' place attachment and further enhance restorative perception.

What is known on the subject? Suicide is an important health problem that has been common all over the world in recent years. Nursing students are a high-risk group for suicide. Factors affecting suicide risk should be investigated and included in psychiatric nursing interventions. Psychological pain is a predisposing condition for suicide risk. Understanding the relationship between perceived accessibility, housing and transport equity of different types of residents: A structural equation modelling approach

This study uses structural equation modelling (SEM) to analyse the relationship between perceived accessibility, housing and transport equity and their influencing factors in Nanjing, China. It aims to address the current shortfall in studies to compare differences in perceived (rather than objective) measures of accessibility using a transport equity lens. A comparison sample of 664 affordable housing residents and 828 commercial housing residents living in different locations across the city was collected through an online survey. The research shows that affordable housing residents are in a more disadvantaged position than commercial housing residents based on their perceived accessibility, housing and transport equity evaluation results are all worse than those of commercial housing residents. Therefore, two SEM models were constructed to understand the underlying factors driving these perceptions. The results show that both housing location and transport provision significantly affect perceived accessibility, housing and transport equity. Improving people's transport affordability is the most effective way to improve perceived accessibility, and transport equity for both groups, however, improving the housing environment is more critical for affordable housing residents, while improving housing affordability is more important for commercial housing residents.

PurposeThough daycare centres are built to facilitate children's social and physical growth, divergent stakeholder perceptions yield conflicts while managing risks for each space due to the minimal guidelines in the Republic of Korea. Due to the unclearly defined knowledge and experience gap between representative stakeholders, teachers have difficulties in operating it with high satisfaction. This study therefore was conducted to systematically identify which parts of performance should be increased to preferentially increase end-user satisfaction in limited ***/methodology/approachThis research conducted quantitative analysis gradually. Importance-performance analysis (IPA) grasped the perceptions of construction practitioners and end-users after identifying space composition and representative risks of daycare centres. Effects of compassion fatigue, structural empowerment, and psychological empowerment on the caring behaviours of intensive care unit nurses in China: A structural equation modelling analysis

Background: Caring behaviours play a pivotal role in nursing. The negative correlation between caring behaviours and compassion fatigue in the intensive care unit (ICU) has been extensively researched. Nevertheless, considerable gaps persist in comprehending the associations of psychological empowerment and structural empowerment with outcomes, particularly in the highly stressful environment of the ICU. Objectives: The aim of this study was to determine how compassion fatigue, structural empowerment, and psychological empowerment impact the caring behaviours of ICU nurses in China via a structural equation modelling analysis. Design: A cross-sectional study through convenience sampling was conducted in the ICU of 24 hospitals in China from February to June 2021. Methods: A self-designed demographic questionnaire, the Chinese version of the Caring Behaviors Inventory, the Chinese version of the Compassion Fatigue Short Scale, the Chinese version of the Conditions of Work Effectiveness Questionnaire-II, and the Chinese version of the Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire-12 were used to survey ICU nurses. Results: A total of 450 ICU nurses were recruited. The final model showed a good model fit. In the ICU nurse population, compassion fatigue (b =-0.582;95% confidence interval: [-0.686,-0.455]) had a direct negative relationship with caring behaviours, whereas both structural empowerment ((3 = 0.448;95% confidence interval: [0.372, 0.572]) and psychological empowerment ((3 = 0.438;95% confidence interval: [0.333, 0.563]) had indirect positive associations with caring behaviours through compassion fatigue. Conclusions: Our findings revealed a direct negative association between compassion fatigue and caring behaviours, whereas both structural empowerment and psychological empowerment are indirectly positively associated with caring behaviours through compassion fatigue amongst ICU nurses in China.
