The cost of fish feeding is usually around 40 percent of total production cost. Estimating a state of fishes in a tank and adjusting an amount of nutriments play an important role to manage cost of fish feeding system. Our approach is based on tracking nutriments on videos collected from an active aquaculture fish farm. tracking approach is applied to acknowledge movement of nutriment to understand more about the fish behavior. Recently, there has been increasing number of researchers focused on developing tracking algorithms to generate more accurate and faster determination of object. Unfortunately, recent studies have shown that efficient and robust tracking of multiple objects with complex relations remain unsolved. Hence, focusing to develop tracking algorithm in aquaculture is more challenging because tracked object has a lot of aquatic variant creatures. By following aforementioned problem, we develop tuna nutriment tracking based on the classical minimum cost problem which consistently performs well in real environment datasets. In evaluation, the proposed method achieved 21.32 pixels and 3.08 pixels for average error distance and standard deviation, respectively. Quantitative evaluation based on the data generated by human annotators shows that the proposed method is valuable for aquaculture fish farm and can be widely applied to real environment datasets.

With the rapid development of computer technology, image processing technology is significantly improved. In this paper, a method of moving target tracking based on computer vison is studied. By combining with the results of the Marr image research, we first introduce the framework of computer vision theory via a bottom-up visual tracking processing method. To be specific, we take the rocket as an example. Consecutively applying the segmentation algorithm and the tracking algorithm, we find that the accuracy of separation and the instantaneity of image can be enhanced, which makes a significant contribution to the target tracking technology.

The development of digital microscopy and computational power is providing new opportunities for analyzing the motility of the vesicles (proteins) within living cells. In this paper, an automatic method is developed to segment and track vesicles in large amount of fluorescence images, in order to compute a number of quantitative parameters such as displacement, residence time, binding, or immobile fraction. We present a method that permits the automatic tracking of subcellular structures in long sequences of fluorescence images (up to 100 frames). The method we propose has been tested on 92 data sets totaling 8225 frames.

Laser vision sensor has been proven to be one of the most successfully technology for its many advantages. Based on the Digital Signal Processor (ADSP21060), a principal and subordinate structure parallel real time infrared target tracking system is established. The system is composed of image acquisition sub system, image processing subsystem, manual control subsystem and target indicates subsystem. A new fast two-dimensional (2-D) entropy algorithm and motion target detection algorithm is implemented in second DSP to detect infrared target. The mass centered tracking algorithm and correlative-tracking algorithm are used to tracking targets. A Kalman filter algorithm is used to predicting approach. And using ADSP21060 to achieve the Kalman filtering algorithm and satisfies the real-time need. In this tracking system the tracking state of infrared target is considered, detecting algorithm or tracking algorithm can be selected automatic. If tracking system is working in detecting mode and target is detected, then system will turn to tracking mode If system is working in tracking mode and target is lost, then system will turn into detecting mode. As the ADSP-21060 offers powerful features to multi-processing DSP systems, it is easy to expand to multi subordinate DSP system. It is possible to use more complexes detecting or tracing algorithms in real time tracing system.

The low-frequency characteristic line spectrum contains significant information about underwater targets, which makes both its detection and control a hot topic of research. Attempts to suppress the characteristic line spectrum by active control strategy are greatly influenced by the tracking effect of the instantaneous information of the line spectrum, and have to deal with two specific technical problems in underwater applications. Firstly, the instability of the line spectrum;and, secondly, uncertain compensation of time delay, which is closely related to hydrological parameters. In order to cope with these problems, a tracking control strategy was proposed. This idea is based on biorthogonal demodulation, by smoothing phase-difference and cross-correlation time-delay estimation. This makes it possible to track the phase and frequency information of a signal. Secondly, the performance of the tracking algorithm for several typical models of signals under additive Gaussian white noise environment was simulated, and the accuracy of the tracked instantaneous information was given. Thirdly, the factors influencing the performance of the algorithm are discussed and the measures to improve accuracy are introduced. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed strategy was confirmed through the validation of the measured data obtained by an experiment.

This paper presents a prototype wearable device that tracks movements of football players during the match time. To analyze the performance of each player, the proposed device uses the global navigation satellite system (GNSS) assisted by the inertial measurement unit (IMU). Several algorithms are realized on the embedded processor to estimate the amount of speed, total distance covered, and inertia. In addition, the Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) protocol is used to transfer acquired data from the pitch while reducing the overall power consumption. Experimental results show that the BLE-based wearable device successfully demonstrates the real-time tracking operation, achieving the low-power solution compared to the existing devices.

Object tracking is viewed as a two-class "one-versus-rest" classification problem, in which the sample distribution of the target is approximately Gaussian while the background samples are often multi-modal. Based on these special properties, we model the visual appearance via graph approach, which is a semi-supervised approach. The topology structure of graph is carefully designed to reflect the properties of the sample's distribution. The confidence of sample's label is computed via random walk with restart (RWR). The primary advantage of our algorithm is that it keeps the appearance of object via semi-supervised method. Experimental results demonstrate that, compared with two state of the art methods, the proposed tracking algorithm is more effective, especially in dynamically changing and clutter scenes.

Human sperm motility analysis is a key method in assessing male fertility. It was suggested that performance of automatic sperm motility analysis systems can be enhanced by adopting multi-target tracking algorithms developed originally for radar technology. We review and appraise several target tracking algorithms operating on synthetic and actual sperm images and compare their performance. Simulations and observations of images of real sperm cells suggest that the joint probability data association filter with track-coalescence-avoiding (JPDA*) outperforms other evaluated algorithms. This is also the result obtained on images of swimming tadpoles.
