This paper proposes an efficient transmission algorithm that reduces traffic load for advanced metering in wireless transmissions between smart power strips and a corresponding gateway in wireless personal area networks. The aim of this paper is to reduce the transmission data as much as possible and increase quality of service in the smart grid network. In the proposed algorithm, the smart power strip continues transmitting the average of accumulated electrical power values measured during proper periods of time to the gateway only if the sum of the difference between the last transmitted power and each power value that was measured since the last transmission during the intervals exceeds a given value, called the transmission threshold. The results gleaned through experiments show that the proposed algorithm efficiently reduce traffic load even if watt-hours calculated in the smart power strips are the same as the watt-hours in the gateway.

A data transmission algorithm applicable to incremental and absolute encoders is presented and implemented on FPGA-based six axis robot experimental platform. When the industrial computer (IPC) requests synchronous position, the absolute position data is transmitted, while the incremental data is transmitted in the other case to reduce the bus load. In addition, the servo control units assign absolute value data and upload tasks to the various control cycles finely, thus avoiding interference with normal servo control beats. Experimental results shown that the servo control units can read the multi-axis absolute encoders data and achieve the precise positioning of the robot system, further improving the performance of the robot system and reducing the cost.

Aiming at the issues of information sensing, transmission, analysis, feedback control and information exchange in metropolitan area networks, a new wireless mesh transmission network based on network coding technology is designed in this paper. The network nodes store, forward and process the received data with transmission characteristics of the wireless channel, and optimize inter-message client communication. By analyzing the connection mode of relay nodes and the multi-source information coding, a multicast relay network coding algorithm and a multi-source random network coding algorithm are proposed. The test results indicate that the bandwidth of 54Mbps can reach 49.3Mbps after 3-hop transmission, and can still reach 10.43Mbps through 24-hop, the packet loss rate of 2(20)GB within 10s is as low as 0.19%, which solves the problem of multi-hop transmission bandwidth utilization and effective transmission of massive data.

From the data obtained, it follows for the considered algorithm, the effect of interdependence between each bit of the image and each bit of messages is characteristic. Characteristics of coded images, similar to the characteristics of electronic messages, the values of items which are obtained randomly, indicating the functionality of the algorithm considered. The offered algorithm of transfer images can be used for the decision of control tasks for integrity data and transfer of the information in modern telecommunication and information systems.
