The purpose of the present paper is to establish connections between various subclasses of analytic univalent functions by applying certain convolution operator involving Poisson distribution series. To be more precise,we investigate such connections with the classes of analytic univalent functions of beta-starlike and beta-uniformly convex functions of order a in the open unit disk U. Further we point out some consequences of our main results.

Let A be the class of analytic functions in the open unit disk U. A function f in A satisfying the normalization is said to be in the class SP(n) if D(n)f is a parabolic starlike function, where D(n) is a notation of the Salagean operator. In this paper, several basic properties and characteristics of the class SP(n) are investigated. These include subordination, convolution properties, class-preserving integral operators, and Fekete-Szego problems. (C) 2011 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.

By making use of tools from convex analysis, we formulate an inexact Newton-Landweber iteration method for solving nonlinear inverse problems in Banach spaces. The method consists of two components: an outer Newton iteration and an inner scheme. The inner scheme provides increments by applying Landweber iteration with nonsmooth uniformlyconvex penalty terms to local linearized equations. The outer iteration is then terminated by the discrepancy principle. Detailed convergence analysis is present under standard conditions on the nonlinearity. Finally, numerical simulations are reported to test the performance of the method.

The se of this paper is to establish connections between various subclasses of analytic univalent functions by applying certain convolution operator involving Poisson distribution series. To be more precise, we investigate such connections with the classes of analytic univalent functions k-UCV*(0)beta, k- S*(p)(beta), R-T(beta), R-T(A, B), k - PUCV* (beta) and k - PSp* (beta) in the open unit disc U.

For q a (0, 1) let the q-difference operator be defined as follows where denotes the open unit disk in a complex plane. Making use of the above operator the extended Ruscheweyh differential operator R (q) (lambda) f is defined. Applying R (q) (lambda) f a subfamily of analytic functions is defined. Several interesting properties of a defined family of functions are investigated.

Let A be a class of functions f(z) of the form f(z) = z + Sigma(infinity)(n=2) a(n)z(n) (0.1) which are analytic in the open unit disk U. By means of the Dziok-Srivastava operator, we introduce a new subclass S'(m) (alpha(1), alpha, mu) (l <= m + 1, l, m is an element of N boolean OR uniformly convex functions, -pi/2 < alpha < pi/2, mu > - cos alpha) of A. In particular, S-0(1) (2, 0, 0) coincides with the class of uniformly convex functions introduced by Goodman. The order of starlikeness and the radius of alpha-spirallikeness of order beta (beta < 1) are computed. Inclusion relations and convolution properties for the class S'(m) (alpha(1), alpha, mu) are obtained. A special member of S'(m) (alpha(1), alpha, mu) is also given. The results presented here not only generalize the corresponding known results, but also give rise to several other new results.
