Multiple Sclerosis (MS) necessitates tailored care along intricate pathways throughout a patient's lifetime. visualizing these pathways enhances the collective understanding of care processes and fosters collaboration among stakeholders. This study employed a qualitative study to map and the Customer Journey modeling Language (CJML) to model MS patient pathways. A total of six purposefully selected healthcare professionals working in specialized healthcare, at a hospital and separate rehabilitation center, contributed to the care process mapping, participating in both pre- and post-modeling in-depth interviews. CJML, designed to capture planned and actual journeys from the service users' perspective was adapted in this study to showcase the service provider's viewpoints, revealing insights into the existing organization of MS care. Involving more than one service provision level in mapping and modeling care processes requires dealing with handovers and its associated challenges. The final visualizations illustrate potential areas for improvement, including the need for more standardized procedures, potentially leading to variations in the quality of care and/or inefficient processes. However, the mapping process highlighted the difficulties in visualizing the MS care pathway due to its highly personalized nature, including challenges with creating personas or case groups that would allow for a unified service model. Participants' feedback on the visualizations was essential, illustrating the importance of member checking when dealing with complex concepts such as patient pathways and organization of care.

visual modeling of surface structure geometric features of mechanical parts based on boundary data mining and wireless computing is essentially discussed in this manuscript. This paper establishes a method for reducing the degree of the uncertainty of the rough set boundary elements with the integration of the communication models. The method selects the appropriate coverage formation rule from the minimum coverage generated by the attribute reduction according to the statistical rule of the boundary element. In our model, the novelty can be listed as follows. (1) The cluster boundary can be obtained by detecting data objects with such features in the data set. (2) The multi-scale information of the surface of the part is optimized and input into the CAD system to obtain the multi-scale shape information, including the surface point cloud type, mesh model, surface model and solid model information of the parts at each scale, and the information is also transmitted to each other. The results of the simulation can prove the core effectiveness of the methodology. We simulate the proposed model under different scenarios and the comparison analysis has proven the efficiency and the robustness of the model. It is proven that the modelling efficiency has been 21.2% percent higher than the traditional model.

Nowadays, engine room simulators have become an important tool for maritime training, but programming engine room simulators often involves handling large amounts of data, making the process inefficient. This paper proposes an innovative visual modeling method for the ship pipeline network program in engine room simulators, aimed at addressing the heavy programming tasks associated with traditional text-based design and calculation methods when dealing with complex and large-scale pipeline systems. By creating Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) images and using Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) to place controls, an intuitive graphical user interface is built, allowing programmers to easily operate through the graphical interface. Subsequently, You Only Look Once version 5 (YOLOv5) object detection technology is used to identify the completed SVG images and WPF controls, generating corresponding Comma-Separated Values (CSV) files, which are then used as data input via C# (C Sharp). Through automated data processing and equipment recognition, compared to traditional manual design processes (such as using Matlab or C++ for pipeline design), this method reduces human errors and improves programming accuracy. Customization of key pipeline characteristics (such as maximum flow and flow direction) enhances the accuracy and applicability of the pipeline network model. The intuitive user interface design also allows nonprofessional users to easily design and optimize pipeline systems. The results show that this tool not only improves the efficiency of data processing and calculation but also demonstrates excellent performance and broad application prospects in the design and optimization of ship pipeline systems. In the future, this tool is expected to be more widely promoted in ship pipeline network education and practical applications, driving the field towards more efficient and intelligent development.

The human visual system is a complex network of neurons that employs robust mechanisms to perceive and interpret the environment. Despite significant advancements in computer vision technologies in recent years, they still need to improve compared to human abilities, particularly in recognizing faces and interpreting scenes. As a result, there is a growing interest in understanding the underlying mechanisms of human vision. Artificial Intelligence (AI) systems, specifically computer vision models, represent the assigned task using a learned or systematically generated vector space known as the Latent Space. However, the field of brain representation space remains relatively less explored. Despite significant progress, a research gap exists in generating an optimal representation space for human visual processing. While graph-based representations have been proposed to better capture inter-region relationships in visual processing, learning an optimal graph representation from limited data remains a challenge, especially when there is no ground truth. Due to the lack of labeled data, supervised learning approaches are less preferred. The present study introduces a novel method for graph-based representation of the human visual processing system, utilizing Neural Combinatorial Optimization(NCO). We have obtained an accuracy of 60% from our proposed framework, which is comparable to other methods for eight class classification in visual Modelling.

How visual system configuration can play a role in individual recognition: a visual modeling study

Many species rely on individual recognition (i.e., the use of individual signals to identify and remember a conspecific) to tune their social interactions. However, little is known about how the configuration of the sensory system may affect the perception of individual recognition signals over space. Utilizing a visual modeling approach, we quantified (1) the threshold distance between the receiver and the signaler at which individual recognition can no longer accurately occur, and (2) the regions of the head most likely to contain the individual recognition signals. We used chickens (Gallus gallus) as our study species, as they use visual individual recognition and additionally have a well-studied visual system. We took pictures of different individuals and followed a visual modeling approach considering color vision, visual acuity, and pattern processing of the receiver. We found that distance degrades the quality of information in potential individual recognition signals. We estimated that the neighbor distance at which a receiver may have difficulty recognizing a conspecific was between 0.25 and 0.30 m in chickens, which may be related to a decrease in available features of the potential signal. This signal perception threshold closely matches the recognition distance predicted by previous behavioral approaches. Additionally, we found that certain regions of the head (beak, cheek, comb, eye) may be good candidates for individual recognition signals. Overall, our findings support that recognition in chickens occurs at short distances due to constraints imposed by their visual system, which can affect the costs and benefits associated with social spacing in groups.

The report authors have developed a LANDSLIP software package for visual modeling and landslide slopes stress-strain state calculation in JAVA programming language. It has various modifications (flat and spatial versions, various calculation models etc.). The user interacts with the LANDSLIP by means of visual modeling on the Graphics User Interface. The user does not interact with all other LANDSLIP objects, they are completely controlled by the Graphics User Interface. It creates all other objects, modifies, uses, and, if necessary, removes them. The interaction between the user and the Graphics User Interface is performed via the menu system. Using the graphical editor menu, the user can create objects to describe the landslide structure and manipulate the additional sliding surfaces, groundwater lines set and program functions responsible for mathematical calculations and design documentation preparation. The LANDSLIP software package is equipped with interfaces that facilitate collecting data from the MicroStation environment, digital map, and geological database. The geological cross-sections are automatically created, and geotechnical soil parameters are evaluated. The software enables the stability analysis of any slopes or scarps using various calculation methods. It ensures wide opportunities to predict, evaluate and combat natural threats. The LANDSLIP software package results reliability was verified by comparative calculations via similar Canadian SLOPE/W software package at the design office of the "Turow" brown coal mine in Poland. The results differences are within the acceptable limits and depend on the peculiarities of initial-boundary conditions input in various graphic editors, various calculation models, etc.

Handling complex representations in visual modeling tools for MDSD/DSM by means of code generator languages

Constructing languages and tools for modeling is an intellectual effort that addresses challenges related to linguistic theory. It requires a high level of creativity and understanding between software engineers and language and domain experts. It is important to consider the context of language application, or the main goal of the work, at the beginning of the language construction process. A new language is not created instantaneously, but rather through a process of iteratively refining the definition of its elements in interaction with the real-world context in which it will be applied. From a pragmatic standpoint, the best way to ensure the correctness of a language's semantics is to verify it using a reference implementation, although different approaches may be used to describe the semantics of the language. In this paper, we share our experience in developing new and extending the existing functionalities of tools for visual domain-specific modeling to simplify reference implementation. We demonstrate how the code generator language, with minor extensions, can be used for it. visual modeling tools in MDSD and DSM pay more attention to the graphical representation of objects, and less to relations, roles, and properties. In our platform, objects, roles, and relations are all derived from the same base class, which allows us to distinguish between fifteen different model representation types, ranging from view on the model topology to complex 3D views.
