Construction safety management has been a popular issue in research and practice in recent years due to the high accident and death rates in the construction industry. The complexity and variability of construction sites makes safety management more difficult to implement than in other industries. As a promising technology, visualization has been extensively explored to aid construction safety management. However, a comprehensive critical review of the visualization technology in construction safety management is absent in the literature. This paper provides a comprehensive review to investigate research and development, application methods, achievements and barriers to the use of visualization technology in safety management, and suggests possible future research directions to extend its application. It is found that visualization technology can improve safety management by aiding safety training, job hazard area (JHA) identification and on-site safety monitoring and warnings, but there are barriers or limitations involved. Existing location technologies, for instance, can perform well only in relatively small areas due to their generally poor penetrating performance. Finally, possible future research directions are proposed to benefit the extensive application of visualization technology for construction safety management in both theory and practice. A Novel Approach Toward Complex Pythagorean Fuzzy Sets and Their Applications in visualization technology

The theory of complex Pythagorean fuzzy set (CPFS) has been already interpreted. This theory states that in both polar and Cartesian form the degree of membership and degree of non-membership are located in a complex plane's unit disc. However the Cartesian presentation has some drawbacks for instance, this theory can't consider the full belongingness (l + iota l, 0 + iota 0) of the element because this value is not located in the unit disc of a complex plane but in a unit square of a complex plane. Hence, with the existing Cartesian form of CPFS, the full belongingness of the element can't be described. Further, in polar form, the degrees of membership and non-membership are interpreted by amplitude and phase terms. Where the amplitude acts similar as they act in the Pythagorean fuzzy set (PFS) while phase terms show the periodicity, direction, or position of the element in a set. However, this description of degrees of membership and non-membership is confined to the polar structure and is inappropriate for inclusion in logical operations accompanied by CPFS in Cartesian coordinates. Therefore, in this article, we devise a theory of CPFS in Cartesian coordinates, where both degrees of membership and non-membership are in Cartesian form located in a complex plane's unit disc and containing real and imaginary terms. These terms are fuzzy functions and carry fuzzy information. We also establish a few critical and basic operations for CPFS in Cartesian coordinate and then discuss some aggregation operators (AOs) and a multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) method within CPFS. After that, we employ the established theory in the field of visualization technology to reveal the applicability and requirement of the proposed theory. We interpreted the comparison of the deduced theory with certain prevailing theories to portray the supremacy of this work.

Simulation of e-learning visualization technology based on image enhancement in the communication mode of public performance art videos

With the simulation of public performing arts video communication modes, this study aims to explore the application of image-enhanced electronic learning visualization techniques in this field. Through the introduction of this technology, it aims to improve the effect of e-learning and enhance learners' understanding and perception of public performing arts videos. Through the acquisition and processing of public performing arts videos, the image enhancement technology is used to improve the image clarity and color saturation. Based on the e-learning platform, the enhanced video will be transmitted online, so that learners can watch through electronic devices and carry out corresponding learning operations. Finally, the learning effect of traditional learning and image-based e-learning. The results show that e-learning visualization technology based on image enhancement can significantly improve learners' understanding and feelings of public performing arts videos. Through the enhanced video images, learners can more clearly observe the actors' performance movements, facial expressions and other details, so as to better understand the connotation and communication meaning of the public performing arts.

Application of 4D visualization technology for safety management in metro construction

Safety accidents occur frequently in underground metro construction due to its complexity. These accidents cause huge losses because most metro construction is located in the center of very congested cities. Therefore, safety management is a priority in the metro construction industry. This paper proposes an approach for safety management using visualization technology. Safety is integrated with the construction management process throughout the project life cycle. Information from the design phase about construction components and scheduling has been gathered to formulate a 4 dimensional (4D) model. Before construction begins, a rule-based tool analyzes this combined information, automatically detects potentially unsafe activities and conditions and provides instructions for correction. More importantly, actual site monitoring data are continuously compared to the 4D model during the construction process. Therefore, the safety status of related components can be continuously visualized in the system as conditions change and potential safety risks evolve. This paper presents a prototype which was developed and verified with a case study of a real project. The results show that the proposed approach can be a tool of collaboration, virtual analysis and prediction for designers, site project managers, safety engineers and other participants. With real-time safety status visualized, it can detect safety risks before and during the construction process and then provide preventive measures. Thus, timely decisions can be made to avoid accidents. This contributes to the success of safety management in the metro construction industry. (C) 2012 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

With the improvement of international division of labor and cooperation and the refinement of production process division, the global value chain division of labor system is becoming the latest mode of product division. In order to deeply analyze and explore the research status and development trend in the field of global value chain, based on the Web of Science core collection SCIE and SSCI database, this paper uses the literature metrology method and CiteSpace software to conduct a visual analysis of the literature in the field of global value chain. The study discovered research hotspots, research processes, development frontiers, research distribution, and citation status of global value chains. We have comprehensively grasped the literature status of global value chain research, providing scholars with new research directions, and also providing strong reference and guidance for investment decision-making of multinational corporations and trade policy formulation of countries and international organizations.

Complex Technical Systems: State Assessment Procedure Using visualization technology

The state assessment of remotely-controlled complex technical systems is considered. For this assessment, the authors used high-level digital twins generated through visualization technology. The paper examines modern visualization technologies (including virtual reality), which provide a means to perform various tasks for complex technical systems, such as interactive control and repairs. A scope analysis of visual models revealed that they can serve as either interpreters or simulators. This paper examines simulation models. Of note is that a higher number of properties taken into account when creating models increases their adequacy. Thus, in order to obtain highly adequate models, it is proposed to use current advances in visualization technology, which enables the evaluation of a large number of properties attributed to a real object (a complex technical system). The authors developed a procedure for assessing the state of complex technical systems, proposing an algorithm for the analyst designed to ensure the virtual presence of a specialist at the controlled facility, implement conventional testing techniques, and perform additional measurements when checking for failures. An example is given of how this procedure can be implemented in an interactive analysis and control system.

Infrared image technology has the advantages of high sensitivity and non-contact, which can be used to detect athletes' defects and improve the teaching quality and effect. This paper explores infrared image defect detection method based on data information visualization technology, adopts infrared image technology to obtain athletes image data, and uses data information visualization technology to process and analyze the image data. Firstly, the image data is preprocessed, and then the key features of athletes are extracted and defect detection is carried out by using image processing algorithm and pattern recognition algorithm. Finally, the test results are displayed visually, so that teachers and students can intuitively understand the athletes' defects. The research shows that the infrared image defect detection method based on data information visualization technology has achieved good results in physical education teaching. By processing and analyzing the infrared images of athletes, the defects of athletes can be accurately detected, and effective guidance and feedback can be provided for teachers.

Major natural disasters have occurred frequently in the last few years, resulting in increased loss of life and economic damage. Most emergency responders do not have first-hand experience with major natural disasters, and thus, there is an urgent need for pre-disaster training. Due to the scenes unreality of traditional emergency drills, the failure to appeal to the target audience and the novel coronavirus pandemic, people are forced to maintain safe social distancing. Therefore, it is difficult to carry out transregional or transnational emergency drills in many countries under the lockdown. There is an increasing demand for simulation training systems that use virtual reality, augmented reality, and mixed reality visualization technologies to simulate major natural disasters. The simulation training system related to natural disasters provides a new way for popular emergency avoidance science education and emergency rescue personnel to master work responsibilities and improve emergency response capabilities. However, to our knowledge, there is no overview of the simulation training system for major natural disasters. Hence, this paper uncovers the visualization techniques commonly used in simulation training systems, and compares, analyses and summarizes the architecture and functions of the existing simulation training systems for different emergency phases of common natural disasters. In addition, the limitations of the existing simulation training system in practical applications and future development directions are discussed to provide reference for relevant researchers to better understand the modern simulation training system.

With the wide application of IEC 61850, the actual electrical connection of the cable in the intelligent substation has been replaced by the other media such as the optical fiber, which directly causes the invisibility of the secondary circuit and brings inconvenience to the operation and maintenance. To solve these problems, the visualization technology of the secondary circuit of intelligent substation based on CIM/G is proposed in this paper. The automatic parsing technology of the secondary circuit connection relationship in the SCD file is introduced, together with the automatic generation technology of the visual interface. The visualization technology adopted here not only realizes the static layout of the physical circuit and the logic circuit in the monitoring interface, but also achieves the dynamic refresh of the graphical objects which reflects the real-time status of the circuit. Finally, the effectiveness of the proposed methods is successfully demonstrated by the practical application, and the comprehensive performance of this automatic visualization technology is evaluated to be superior to the traditional manual mode.
