Urbanization is an irreversible trend. Architecture and gardening play an important role in realizing the basic functions of cities and are also important factors in shaping the aesthetics and humanistic characteristics of cities. However, the traditional visualization design method restricts the visual performance of products to a certain extent, and also brings great inconvenience to designers and users. Therefore, based on convolutional neural networks, this paper conducts rapid visualization research and conducts urban planning methods based on deep neural networks. The efficiency and visual quality of landscape planning are improved by applying the automatic recognition and classification method of urban landform images using convolutional neural networks (CNN). The experimental results show that the classification accuracy of the applied CNN model in building type CNN can reach up to 97.8%. In addition, the model can provide real-time design feedback, and its computational efficiency, generalization ability and robustness are all advantages. Through instant feedback on the product design process, designers can make intelligent decisions faster and more effectively. This is especially important for cities with rapid growth and time constraints. The application of CNN is an important progress, which can effectively improve the efficiency and quality of planning work.

A novel product data management mode, CVPDS (Collaborative visualization Production Development System), which is based on the cooperative design and visualization technology, is proposed in this paper. It also analyzes and establishes the system frame, discusses the key technology of cooperative visualization development and the implementing management flat;studies the realization method of 3D virtual modeling based on network, the information visualization and so on, and then, proves the feasibility and the practicability of the CVPDS by the development and preliminary application of a prototype system, which gives a useful research on resource sharing and interactive technology under the advanced manufacturing mode.

Industry Perspective on the Role of visualization technology in Construction Safety Training

Construction is a high-risk industry, and worker capability has been identified as a contributing factor to construction accidents. However, many construction workers do not receive adequate safety training, leading to a lack of knowledge and skill. Effective training programs are essential to increase workers’ safety competence and reduce accidents. Trainings facilitated by emerging visualization technologies (VT) are gaining attention due to their participatory nature and high engagement, which are missing components in traditional classroom-based safety training. This study explored the opportunities for adopting VT in safety training to improve employee training outcomes. Interviews were conducted with construction professionals in the U.S. and U.K., who had experience with safety training. The participants identified a number of training opportunities that would be appropriate for adopting VT. Interviewees valued VT for its technological versatility and positive impact on safety behavior, and they identified challenges in using VT related to cost, nature of technology, organizational barriers, and industry culture. The findings suggest the construction industry is still in the early stage of applying VT in safety training but many potential opportunities for using VT warrant further exploration. The implications point to the need to bridge academic research and its practical application to support VT’s adoption in industry. © 2022 Associated Schools of Construction.

The paper firstly elaborated the current situation of the visualization technology and the advantages of the three-dimension data mining. On this base, it introduced the visualization technology into the three-dimension data mining, and analyzed a framework of three-dimension data mining based on the visualization technology and a mathematic algorithm. Further, the function and key technology of each part of the framework was discussed. To prove the usability and the validity of the framework, a prototype system was developed. And an experiment was tested with real cardiac images in three-dimension, the result is satisfactory.

Through the visibility of knowledge map and the use of map visibility to express the correlation between different types of information. Firstly, the paper mines the multimodal data related to the field of computer science and establishes a more systematic multimodal knowledge base. Combined with association extraction rules, association extraction was carried out. A multimodal computer domain knowledge map which can be automatically extracted from relational ternary associations is constructed. The simulation results show that this method can be used to integrate academic resources in a deep level. It provides advanced knowledge services to the online community. © 2023 IEEE.

As an important tool framework for developing or simplifying front-end, front-end constructors can replace most traditional front-end development techniques for the purpose of simplification and visualization, and are an indispensable technology in current front-end design. Therefore, in order to study the role of visualization based front-end constructor technology, this article compared it with web pages that did not use visualization technology and were based on traditional front-end design, as well as web pages constructed using IP (Internet Protocol) technology, to verify the effectiveness of this method. The comparison results showed that after visualization, the daily average number of visits was 15405, while before visualization, the daily average number of visits was 12565. The daily average number of interactions with visualization technology was 2646, and the daily average number of interactions with IP technology was 2269. That is to say, in two comparative experiments targeting the two design methods, the method proposed in this paper outperformed, so this study found that the visualization based front-end constructor technology has great advantages. © 2024 IEEE.

In order to improve the effect of urban road congestion analysis, this paper aims to study the mechanism of traffic congestion diffusion under the condition that users have real-time traffic information, and analyze the urban road congestion situation combined with big data visualization technology. According to the characteristics of traffic flow propagation, this paper conducts multi-granularity abstraction and multi-scale modeling of node-intersection-link-network for the complex and dynamic traffic congestion process, and establishes an improved SIS virus propagation model for traffic congestion propagation. In addition, this paper uses the method of state transition probability to construct an interactive dynamic model of traffic congestion propagation and early warning information propagation in a multi-layer network. The experimental research results show that the big data visualization technology introduced in this paper can play an important role in urban road congestion.

EHD flow auxiliary particle collection in HVDC electrostatic precipitator based on PIV flow visualization technology

The electrostatic precipitator (ESP) is modified with the aid of an EHD flow in high voltage direct current (HVDC) to trap submicron-sized and ultra-high resistivity particles. In this study, the modified method for micron spherical silica was developed and optimized by particle image velocimetry (PIV) and numerical simulation. Meanwhile, scattering images of particle movement were obtained by laser and CCD camera. These results showed that the fine particles were driven by EHD flow towards the cavity. The D-50 and D-90 of particles measured by using the SYNC-type particle size analyzer inside the auxiliary dust removal cavity were 0.635 mu m and 1.178 mu m, which were much smaller than those of the particles deposited on the rear side of the cavity. The particle morphology was observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), which indicated that multi-layer particles were agglomerating on the surface of the plate electrodes. However, particles were distributed in loose mono-layer in the cavity with no obvious agglomeration. The results showed that the modified method improved the efficiency.

Actuators based on smart materials could produce mechanical deformation when they are stimulated by the external environment are widely used in the fields of bionic robots, wearable devices and biomedical devices etc. At present, most actuators can only produce a single deformation function, but it is foreseeable that through the integration of visualization technology, the actuators will have broader application prospects. Some studies in recent years have shown that the integration of deformation and visualization technology could provide a strong impetus for the further development of deformation technology. However, the current review on smart actuators mainly summarizes research work with a single deformation function, a systematic review about the integration of deformation and visualization technology is relatively lacking. In this review, the deformation technology and its integration with visualization technology in recent years are systematically summarized, including colorchanging technology, luminescence (electroluminescence and fluorescence) technology, etc. Then, the integration modes and design principles of different types of actuators are mainly discussed. Finally, the currently existing problems and future development trends in this research field are summarized and prospected.

Analysis of the Research Trend of Global Value Chain Based on Literature Metrology and visualization technology

With the improvement of international division of labor and cooperation and the refinement of production process division, the global value chain division of labor system is becoming the latest mode of product division. In order to deeply analyze and explore the research status and development trend in the field of global value chain, based on the Web of Science core collection SCIE and SSCI database, this paper uses the literature metrology method and CiteSpace software to conduct a visual analysis of the literature in the field of global value chain. The study discovered research hotspots, research processes, development frontiers, research distribution, and citation status of global value chains. We have comprehensively grasped the literature status of global value chain research, providing scholars with new research directions, and also providing strong reference and guidance for investment decision-making of multinational corporations and trade policy formulation of countries and international organizations.
