Advancing in communication technology, 5th Generation Wireless Communication System is playing a significant role. The 5th Generation wireless communication system involves different types of coding and modulation schemes for the better performances and efficient outputs. This paper analyzes the different coding schemes and modulation techniques and compares between them. The performances have been compared between the Turbo and viterbi coding Schemes. And the modulation techniques have been compared between QPSK and QAM modulation techniques. The QAM modulation scheme will be used for the users closer to the BTS (Base Transceiver Station). And QPSK modulation technique will be used for the users closer to the border of the cells. For both of the modulation techniques, both the coding schemes have been used and performances have been compared. Finally for all the modulation schemes, viterbi coding techniques (Convolutional Encoding and viterbi Decoding) have proved its efficient performances in use.

In this study, the authors present a novel data hiding scheme using the minimum distortion look-up table (LUT) embedding that achieves good distortion-robustness performance. LUT-based data hiding is a simple and efficient way to embed information into multimedia content for various applications, such as transaction tracking and database annotation. The authors find it possible to optimally reduce the data hiding-introduced distortion by designing the LUT according to the distribution of the host at a given robustness level. The authors first analyse the distortion introduced by LUT embedding and formulate its relationship with run constraints of LUT to construct an optimal coding problem. Subsequently, a viterbi algorithm is presented to find the minimum distortion LUT. Then a new practical data hiding scheme using the optimal LUT is applied in the wavelet domain. Theoretical analysis and numerical results show that the new LUT design achieves not only less distortion but also more robustness than the traditional LUT-based data embedding schemes under common attacks such as Gaussian noise and JPEG compression.

The bit error probability P(b) of convolutional codes decoded using the viterbi algorithm using both soft and hard decision techniques is considered. Approximations to the additive or union upper bound on P(b) which also form good approximations to P(b) at values up to 10(-2) or higher are presented. Tables are given for the best codes listed for constraint lengths between 3 and 7 and rates 1/2 and 1/3.
