The world is advancing with Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), along with this connecting people all over the world has taken a hike growth using various mobile applications for text messaging, voice and video calling. Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality and Mixed Reality has become a piece of everyday life with the development of technologies like Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, mobile computing, sensing technologies, graphics, etc. This paper proposes an approach of incorporating these XR technology in communication for people by augmenting the person talking to other person in his real environment through machine learning algorithm by detecting and scanning the person removing the background using semantic segmentation which will then be augmented in another person's living room using their mobile devices and the communication will take place using open source webrtc apis. Using the Semantic Segmentation, a Deep Learning technique, which will be used to separate the foreground from the background and perform the additional framing of window for smooth and beautiful experience while augmenting it to another person's environment. This user experience of Augmented Reality in Video Calling can become a new standard for communication and will make another level of digital interaction with others across the world.

The web application paradigm has become a dominant choice due to the ubiquity of web browsers across PCs and mobile devices, and the layer of abstraction that they provide. However, browsers have traditionally communicated only with servers, never from one browser to another. The webrtc api overcomes this limitation, providing further avenues for the web application paradigm to evolve. In this paper we present Cyclon.p2p an implementation of the Cyclon peer sampling protocol using the webrtc api. We provide a detailed overview of our system, and conduct a thorough evaluation of the implementation in real-world and simulated experiments. Our results strongly suggest that our implementation is feasible for large scale deployment in real world Web applications.

As an accessible and high-performance computing environment, we have studied Web-based Volunteer Computing (VC), in which users can join a VC with just accessing a specified URL on Web browsers. A major problem of Web-based VC has been the difficulty of implementing some advanced functions such as direct communications among users and file sharing, because all processes must be handled on Web browsers. For this problem, we propose a solution to realize a P2P communication function among Web browsers by using recent Web techniques such as Web Real-Time Communication (webrtc) api and its library, PeerJS. As an useful application of our method, we demonstrate file sharing on Web browsers. Experimental result indicates that our method achieves almost 50% reduction in the total time of file distribution.
