Development of New Spray Dust Suppression Materials in Metal Mines and Prediction of algorithm simulation Effect

PROBLEM: Dust contamination in metal mining poses substantial dangers to environmental quality and human health. Modern mining operations cannot use traditional spray dust suppression methods because they are poorly adapted to changing climate conditions, low efficient, and detrimental to the environment. INTRODUCTION: Dust pollution seriously impacts the environment and human health in metal mine operations. Traditional spray dust suppression technology has many problems, such as limited effect, environmental impact, and poor climate adaptability. OBJECTIVES: The purpose of this article is to develop a new type of spray dust suppression material and predict its dust suppression effect through algorithm simulation. Firstly, efficient and environmentally friendly dust-reducing materials were screened, and after evaluating the dust-reducing effect under laboratory conditions, the optimal material combination was determined. METHODS: Using computational fluid dynamics (CFD), a numerical model of the spray process was constructed to simulate the dust suppression effect of different materials under different climatic conditions. RESULTS: The results show that the highest dust reduction efficiency of the new spray dust reduction material is more than 4.3% higher than that of the traditional material, and it shows good stability. CONCLUSION: The new spray dust control material and its effect prediction method studied in this article provide an effective solution for dust control in metal mines, which has important theoretical value and practical application prospects.

To increase redundancy repair efficiency and thus final yield in embedded-memory cores, we propose Raisin, a redundancy analysis algorithm simulation tool that can calculate an RA algorithm's repair rate, yield, associated memory configuration, and redundancy structure. Raisin lets users easily assess and plan redundant elements and subsequently develop BIRA algorithms and circuits, which are essential for BISR of embedded memories.

Visual algorithm simulation (VAS) exercises are commonly used in Computer Science education to help learners understand the logic behind the abstractions used in programming. These exercises also present problems common in the daily work of Computer Science graduates. Aalto University uses the JSAV library to create VAS exercises and evaluate the solutions submitted by students. The evaluation process counts the amount of correct steps given by the user during the exercise. However, because more detailed data is not collected, teachers currently can not recreate and analyse the submitted solutions more in depth. This thesis presents the design, development and evaluation of an application prototype, which can be easily integrated in existing VAS exercises created with the JSAV library. The prototype is called Player Application, and it is designed as a service that can be easily integrated into other systems while still remaining independent. The Player Application consists of two main independent components: the Exercise Recorder and the Exercise Player. A third important contribution is the new JSON-based algorithm Animation Language, which is designed to describe, structure and store the data collected from the VAS exercises. The prototype was successfully tested in an online environment by importing the Exercise Recorder into existing exercises and replaying the submitted solutions in the Exercise Player. The tests showed that its design and architecture were valid. Next, the aim is to create a mature application, which can be used at Aalto University and other institutions, in addition the prototype still needs further development to support more VAS exercise types.

This paper presents an in-depth study and analysis of oil painting classification and simulation using an improved embedded learning fusion vision perception algorithm. This paper analyzes and models the image quality evaluation problem by simulating the human visual system and extracting quality perception features as the main entry point to improve the prediction accuracy of the overall algorithm. This paper proposes a multi-classification method of CCNN, which uses the similarity measure based on information first to achieve multi-classification of artwork styles and artists, and this part is the main part of this paper. This paper uses the wiki art repository to construct a dataset of oil paintings, including over 2000 works by 20 artists in 13 styles. CNN achieves an accuracy of 85.75% on the artist classification task, which is far more effective than traditional deep learning networks such as Resnet. Finally, we use the network model of this paper and other network models to train the classification of 3, 4, and 6 categories of art images. The accuracy of art image classification by this paper's algorithm is higher than that of the current mainstream convolutional neural network models, and the extracted features are more comprehensive and more accurate than traditional art image feature extraction methods, which do not rely on researchers to extract image features. Experiments show that the proposed method can achieve excellent prediction accuracy for both synthetic distorted images and distorted images.

With the continuous development of human computer interaction technology, large-size infrared touch screens have become an important interactive tool, and improving their recognition accuracy has become one of the important research directions. In order to understand the research status and trend of multi-touch recognition algorithm for large size infrared touch screen, based on extensive research of existing literature and latest achievements, two types of infrared multi-touch technologies based on different principles are first introduced, and then discusses three types of infrared multi-touch recognition algorithms: coordinate positioning algorithm, image processing algorithm and hybrid recognition algorithm. Through comparative analysis, it is found that the hybrid recognition algorithm has higher accuracy in multi-touch recognition, and the algorithm can be applied to large size infrared touch screen to improve the recognition accuracy. Finally, this paper summarizes the commonly used simulation platforms and functional and performance testing methods for infrared touch screens. This article provides a complete research framework of multi-touch recognition algorithms of infrared touch screens for future related research. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper, a digital carrier recovery for a 60 GHz Radio-over-Fiber (RoF) system was researched. The system consists of three stages: optical 60 GHz carrier generation and mPSK data modulation with data rates up to 10 Gbit/s, simplex optical receiver (optical band pass filter and photo diode), and 60 GHz electrical coherent IQ down conversion. After the down conversion, the signal is digitized and the carrier recovery is performed to compensate for the electrical LO frequency offsets and phase drifts. The capability of using the well-established Viterbi & Viterbi algorithm as a carrier recovery solution for a 60 GHz RoF system was investigated. The proposed system was simulated by VPItransmissionMaker. The resulting data from the scenario has been processed by a MATLAB implementation of the V&V algorithm. The eye diagrams, constellation plots, phase plots, and cross correlation plots all verified the capability of the algorithm to compensate the phase shift as well as frequency shifts up to 5 MHz in our implementation, and emphasized the power of the algorithm in synchronization for RoF systems.

Experiences on automatically assessed algorithm simulation exercises with different resubmission policies

In this paper, we present our experiences in using two automatic assessment tools, TRAKLA and TRAKLA2, in a second course of programming. In this course, 500--700 students have been enrolled annually during the period 1993--2004. The tools are specifically designed for assessing algorithm simulation exercises in which students simulate the working of algorithms at a conceptual level. Both of these tools allow students to resubmit their solutions after getting feedback. However, the resubmission policy has changed considerably during the period. Those changes reflect the students performance in the exercises. We conclude that an encouraging grading policy, i.e., the more exercises they solve the better grades they achive, combined with an option to resubmit the solution is a very important factor promoting students' learning. However, in order to prevent aimless trial-and-error problem solving method, the number of resubmissions allowed per assignment should be carefully controlled.

In this paper, we present a comparative study of different stochastic components of genetic algorithms for simulation-based optimisation of the buffer allocation problem. We explore the effects of elements such as operators, fitness assignment strategies and elitism. Three different recombination operators, incorporated with constraint handling mechanisms such as repair and penalty functions, are examined. Under the shed of the experiments, we incorporate problem specific knowledge to further enhance the practicality of GA in decision making for buffer allocation problem.

Study on dimension synthesis optimization of five-bar metamorphic mechanism

Planar five-bar mechanism has been widely studied as the executive mechanism of the walking part of the robot leg. In order to improve the precision of dimension synthesis optimization of five-bar metamorphic mechanism, a new dimension synthesis method of five-bar metamorphic mechanism is proposed. By constructing a metamorphic cell into the planar five-bar mechanism, the presented method makes the five-bar mechanism have two configurations of crank-slider mechanism and crank-rocker mechanism. Firstly, according to the round-trip characteristics of the slider in the crank-slider mechanism, the working interval of the two configurations is divided and the method of metamorphic configuration is determined. Subsequently, the optimization model of the five-bar metamorphic mechanism is constructed, the coordinate formula of the target trajectory point is derived, the optimization design variables, objective functions and constraints are determined, through this rigorous process determine the dimension comprehensive optimization parameters of the five-bar metamorphic mechanism. Then, different optimization algorithms are used to simulate different classical target trajectories and the optimization results of the three mechanisms are compared. Moreover, the continuity between configurations is verified and the feasibility of the method is proved. The results underscore the superiority of the proposed method over traditional single configuration designs, which enhances the versatility of the five-bar mechanism, avoids the error caused by the two-degree-of-freedom drive, improves the working condition fitness of the five-bar mechanism and provides a theoretical basis for the study of the comprehensive dimension optimization of the five-bar metamorphic mechanism.

Artificial Intelligence Recognition simulation of 3D Multimedia Visual Image Based on Sparse Representation algorithm

With the rapid development of computer networks and multimedia technologies, images, which are important carriers of information dissemination, have made human cognition of things easier. Image recognition is a basic research task in computer vision, multimedia search, image understanding and other fields. This paper proposes a hierarchical feature learning structure that is completely automatically based on the original pixels of the image, and uses the K-SVD (K-Singular Value Decomposition) algorithm with label consistency constraints to train the discriminant dictionary. For different types of image data sets, the algorithm only extracts image blocks. After dense sampling, an efficient OMP (Orthogonal Matching Pursuit) encoder is used to obtain a layered sparse representation. The improved SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) algorithm is used to solve the difficult problem of multimedia visual image stereo matching. The feature point extraction and stereo matching of multimedia visual images, different scales and different viewpoint images are analyzed separately. Aiming at a large number of low-dimensional geometric features of 3D images, this paper studies the extraction and sorting strategies of low-dimensional geometric features of 3D images. A sparse representation method for 3D images is proposed, and the sparseness of image features is evaluated. This further improves the accuracy of 3D image representation and the robustness of 3D image recognition algorithms.
