This paper aims to develop a virtual reality program as an alternative to field trips which promotes accident-free education tours to primary level students. The team used Unity software as a platform for stitching 360 pictures and videos and built for Android OS specifically for Samsung Gear VR powered by Oculus. arduino is used to serve as restriction of the instructor to the students using a fingerprint scanner to observe synchronized group of scenes. The devices for each student are connected to the instructor via Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN). Effectiveness and efficiency of the system will be determined based on the result observed through the student's experience.

Nowadays from industrial application till to consumer application automation is the most popular technique is used. This paper presents the speed control of DC motor by variation in temperature. Cooling fans, Air conditioner, AC machines and in many applications DC motor is used. In order to develop the code LabVIEW platform is used. Since speed of the motor is controlled by variation in temperature, circuit of measuring temperature is interfaced through LabVIEW. The temperature sensor used here is a LM35. Both DC motor and temperature measurement code is done through LABVIEW software loaded into arduino board. The communication between interfacing circuit on the arduino uno board and LabVIEW is possible only by the Makerhub. Initially for a set of temperature the duty cycle is generated using PWM by varying the width of the pulse. And average voltage values are generated for duty cycle, these voltage values are applied to DC motor for the variation of the speed. DC motor speed increases or decreases depending on the variation in temperature, this is controlled by the program done in the LabVIEW.

As everyone is aware, many dangerous gasses are emitted from automobiles and industry, which can lead to a range of health issues such as lung cancer, asthma, and a range of heart-related complications, or even lead to premature death if the ambient pollution is severe. The consequences of ambient pollution such as acid rain, global warming, and negative effects on agriculture and water quality, emphasize the vital need of ongoing air quality monitoring. As a result, a smart monitoring robot is required to check the air quality. This paper proposes the development of an Air Quality Monitoring Robot capable of efficiently monitoring real-time air conditions via the Thing Speak IoT website. The key components of the device include an arduino uno, Motor Driver, DC motors, MQ9 and MQ135 gas sensors (for the detection of gases like carbon dioxide, methane, hydrogen, etc.), temperature sensor, LCD display, and an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module. Additionally, an ultrasonic sensor is incorporated into the design. The planned system is created to provide a user-friendly mobile application and web-based interface. The monitoring results are accessible in real-time through a web application, which connects to a Wi-Fi network. The robot, equipped with these specified sensors and modules, plays a critical function in data collection and environmental monitoring. Additionally, machine learning algorithms are used to identify patterns in the data and predict changes in air quality, allowing users to take preventive actions before air quality deteriorates. Another area of future work could be to improve the user interface and data visualization of the system, making it more accessible and easier to use for non-experts. Overall, continued development and optimization of the system can help to increase its effectiveness and applicability in a variety of settings, from indoor air quality monitoring in homes and offices to outdoor pollution monitoring in urban environments.

Fishermen's livelihoods are so insecure that if they cross the country's border accidently, it is treated as a serious offence. The severity of the situation seems to worsen when impoverished fisherman are shot and their boats are taken. The fundamental cause of this problem is that marine borders between countries are difficult to identify. The term "maritime border alert system" refers to a system that assists fishermen by informing them of the country's border while protecting them and their boats. Technology such as global navigation satellite system, universal mobile telecommunications network and ultrasonic sensors are used to achieve this purpose. The proposed framework includes a low-cost maritime boundary crossing warning system for fishermen.

Timing is critical when trying to engage students in various engineering career paths. While many "National Engineers Week" programs exist for primary and middle school students, there is a lack of hands on activities for students in the 9th-12th grades. It is often difficult to devise experiments for this age group that are interesting and not juvenile. Yet, it is during these crucial years that most students are lost to science, math and engineering. Engaging students and presenting opportunities for invention and excitement is important in the teen years, when peer pressure and the distractions of friends, social events, and activities are particularly high.(1). There are a number of open source programming and affordable hardware platforms that can be used to implement low cost and interactive programs to promote innovation with various age groups. In this paper we share our work, as well as our learnings on how to make the workshops more effective. We have created various arduino projects that can be customized to grade levels ranging from grades 7-12, and even college undergraduate students. The various projects we describe in this paper have been used to interact with students of different grade levels to engage in basic elements of engineering and computer programming. The classes should be set up to work in groups to promote shared innovation, teamwork and collaboration with peers. The open source and hardware experimenting exposed the students to various career paths ranging from software engineer, to electronic engineers and basic elements of various other engineering paths. This paper is designed to demonstrate the promotion of the engineering profession in schools through the use of arduino uno, Raspberry Pi Gemma kits, and Flora kits. The programs are also designed to accommodate classroom setting, workshops, or as an in-class field trip.

Weather is the state of atmosphere at a particular time and place with regard to temperature, moisture, air pressure, precipitation etc. Bio organisms need to adapt with the changing atmospheric conditions. It is therefore important to know the atmospheric condition for different applications. The interest is to design an autonomous small cube satellite which can provide the information of weather from anywhere without using Network. Here a hardware model has been designed and implemented. It is possible to provide instant weather report which can be used to compare the data of a place with some different altitude as well as for different time instant. In meteorology, the main objective is to know accurate weather conditions with less human efforts, reliable and efficient data. As the weather varies from place to place and with the altitude, it is difficult to get accurate weather for a particular location. With the advancement of technology, specially embedded system & data acquisition systems, the problem of large set up area and cost has been reduced significantly. basically the concept of designing "Smart Cabin" is been developed and modified from the concept of "Smart Cabs" which are implemented in cities in large numbers in order to develop smart and secure service to the people. People found implementing all these concepts for real time purposes are much more effective rather than just keeping the concept and prototype of the system in papers, because so much of development took place after the implementation of smart cabs in the cities where people living there started feeling much more secure than that of the days when the system was not implemented, especially for women. As the current scenario is very much advanced in case of gender discrimination but then still in some places, the areas aren't that safe for women at night times. Especially for those areas the system of smart cabs was been designed, meaning fully eliminating of abusing female gender. These system has highly advanced devices used like sound sensors, fire flame sensors, and even some systems have live monitoring devices too that sends the information(signal) of exact situation of the cab or in an around the cab and which is directly connected with several security control rooms even to police stations. If any kind of information signal is received the security control backup is 24(star)7 available for the action at any point of time. Similarly the concept of this paper is also based on the above discussed applications with modifications and improvisations of few devices, as it is designed for a particular room(cabin).

In this paper, the speed control of Permanent Magnet DC (PMDC) motor is done using Lab VIEW interfaced with arduino. The main advantage of using Lab VIEW with arduino is the cost and simple in structure. The other speed control methods like FPGA method, fuzzy control, using 555 timer and PID controllers are having the drawback of complicated design involved, unreliable control, difficult in the online monitoring with high speed motors. These draw backs motivated us to work on Lab VIEW with arduino. The simulation part is done in Proteus software to validate the results. Different interfacing software like LIFA and LINX is used to interface Lab VIEW and arduino. The results prove that the speed control of PMDC motor can be effectively done with this setup. The speed control of servo motor and stepper motor can also be done with the same module. The application of speed control is required in home automation, crane operation, conveyor belt operation, changing the direction of motor in forward and reverse operation etc.

This paper focuses on voice controlled car with camera, which is constructed by using major components called arduino uno, bluetooth module, motor driver circuit, camera and microsd card module. This automation provides a convenient way to control voice-controlled robot. This automation can aid people, who cannot walk. Voice Controlled car is controlled by using specific commands, which are recognized by mike with the mobile application. The mobile application recognize six commands and they are LEFT, RIGHT, FORWARD, BACK, STOP, KEEP WATCH IN ALL DIRECTION. This mobile application can be used in android or IOS cellphones. Here, the Bluetooth module is used for controlling the voice-controlled car wirelessly and utilizes MicroSD card for storing the video from the camera.

This paper presents the design and construction of a small obstacle avoiding robot based on arduino uno, a Bluetooth module and programming tools. The robot is a small mobile machine that avoids obstacles and it does so through an ultrasonic sensor that will detect the distance of the objects in front of it and make decision about its trajectory. When approaching a certain distance, the arduino uno will send a signal and with the help of a bridge H will cause the engines to turn the car and therefore avoid the obstacle. The bridge H helps the controller to turn the car whatever direction required. The evasion of obstacles is a fundamental characteristic for robot operation. With this characteristic taken care of, future robots with more complex functionality can perform its work without getting stuck in the middle due to some obstacle they have encountered along the way. Throughout the document different requirements of both hardware and software for the robot operation are explained, the proposed design is presented and finally results and conclusions are shown.
