Aiming at satellite optical network and optical switching, we bring forward an assembly algorithm for satellite onboard optical switching. It can regulate the assembly threshold on the basis of traffic flow of edge node, then achieve intelligent assembly. The simulation result shows that the algorithm improves the packet loss ratio and delay, and its complexity is not high, so it is suitable for satellite optical network.

To prevent harmful information through ISP's firewall, major technical measures are filtering technology and classification access. ACL assembly technology can effectively achieve the effect of fine filtering and restricted access, so the network equipment with the application of ACL assembly technology is a new research direction. This paper briefly introduces the basic principles and development of ACL assembly, and focuses on the matching performance of ACL assembly. An improved NP+ TCAM-based ternary bitmap matching algorithm is proposed to effectively minimize the number of times of matching when assembling ACLs. The test data suggest that this algorithm effectively improves the real-timeliness of correlation matching.

In order to improve the performance and quality of service (QoS) guarantee of space-based optical burst switching networks, this paper proposes a burst assembly algorithm appropriate for on-board optical switching, which adaptively adjusts the time threshold according to the QoS priority to reduce the assembly time delay of the high-QoS services without extra overhead. The simulation results indicate that compared with the traditional assembly algorithm based on hybrid threshold, the assembly time delay of high-QoS services can be reduced by 2.81%-44.68%.

In order to solve the problem of on-board optical burst switching assembly algorithm cannot realize completely QoS guarantee, an on-board optical burst switching weight-weighted round robin assembly algorithm based on the QoS guarantee(QWRRA) is proposed in this paper. In this assembly algorithm, IP packet will be inserted in different queue according to the different destination and QoS level when arrive at edge node LEO, the assemble scheduler removes the IP packet from the queue according to the weight-weighted round robin mechanism and assembles the IP packet. When the assemble scheduler generates a burst data packet, it will detect the length of each queue, and change the weights of the queue. Simulation studies the transmission delay and throughput performance of the algorithm, then compared with the assembly algorithm based on mixed threshold and round-robin scheme(FZTFR) and assembly algorithm based on maximum length and maximum time(MSMAP). The results show that the proposed algorithm improves the transmission quality of high priority IP packet and guarantees the transmission of lower level IP packet at the same time.

Background: Physical mapping of DNA with restriction enzymes allows for the characterization and assembly of much longer molecules than is feasible with sequencing. However, assemblies of physical map data are sensitive to input parameters, which describe noise inherent in the data collection process. One possible way to determine the parameter values that best describe a dataset is by trial and error. Results: Here we present OMWare, a tool that efficiently generated 405 de novo map assemblies of a single datasets collected from the cotton species Gossypium raimondii. The assemblies were generated using various input parameter values, and were completed more efficiently by re-using compatible intermediate results. These assemblies were assayed for contiguity, internal consistency, and accuracy. Conclusions: Resulting assemblies had variable qualities. Although highly accurate assemblies were found, contiguity and internal consistency metrics were poor predictors of accuracy.

A burst assembly scheme at the edge routers in optical burst switched networks (OBSNs) is presented for setting up more universal, realistic, and high-powered networks. For the first time, the concept of unit input bit rate is introduced to improve universality. In addition, various factors limiting burst length are discussed, while considering service requirement and hardware architectures. Then, a novel burst assembly algorithm with a buffer safety space is proposed. Based on the above, the assembly process in optical burst switching at edge routers is simulated, and its influence on burst creation, burst length distribution, packet loss ratio, total output data, and valid data ratio are discussed. The results show that the scheme can provide more efficient QoS guarantee in optical burst switched networks, even for 32 random packet sources at an edge router, the packet loss ratio is to 5 x 10(-5), and the valid data ratio reaches 99.7%.
