generative learning objects are reusable educational templates to be filled with learning content. Currently, they are used only in experimental environments and not on a large scale like multiple-choice questions. One reason for this drawback is the complexity of meta-models that teachers should imagine and write. In this sense, several example instances are provided and we selected the linked list concept taught in the context of Data Structures and Algorithms discipline. We outline several use cases of the linked lists and their corresponding models.

The currently developing industry demands more and more IT specialists day by day. Many industrial systems are automated using servers based on Unix and Linux operating systems in industries like: automotive, telecommunications, production etc. Universities and other teaching organizations tend to lack human resources since most of the potential tutors are already employed in the IT industry having significant beneficial packages. In this context cloud enabled auto-generative learning objects can help in the process of training of new IT specialists. They offer the possibility to reuse learning patterns and to fill them with randomly generated but controlled data. Thus, students can learn, exercise and auto-assess their knowledge in Unix commands to be ready for employment in the IT industry.

learning technologies for autonomous study of computer programming abstract concepts are not yet available on a large scale. In this sense we propose an e-learning content design to meet both: the needs of the tutor in the class and the needs of the student able to study on his own at home. Theoretical materials based on static text have the advantage of presenting all the notions in details but the drawback of being impossible to exercise with. On the other hand, auto-generative learning objects are designed for exercising and testing the understanding of abstractions and concepts for computer programming. AGLOs were not created for presenting in detail the theoretical descriptions of concepts. In this sense we propose a design of a mixed learning content including: static text theory, dynamic JavaScript demos, dynamic AGLOs, static code images and proposed exercises to be manually assessed.
