The paper explores the design of a cloud computing architecture for ultra-large-scale Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) clusters. With the rapid development of cloud computing technology, IaaS has become a crucial model for enterprises and service providers to deploy and manage computing resources. This paper first introduces the key technological development stages of resource pool management in a cloud computing environment. Then, it analyzes the advantages and disadvantages of existing IaaS resource management and scheduling methods and proposes a novel resource management and scheduling strategy to improve resource utilization, reduce operational costs, and ensure high reliability and scalability of the system. Finally, the effectiveness of this strategy in ultra-large-scale IaaS environments is validated through experiments. © The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2025.

This paper explores various cloud computing distributed technologies and constructs a SaaS cloud computing architecture for a human resource management system. Each module's functions within the system are detailed. To enhance information security management in the HRMS, the concept of information trust degree is introduced, improving retrieval speed. The effectiveness is tested, revealing a retrieval time of approximately 24s for 100 to 1000 information groups. The optimized information trust degree yields security coefficients of 98.83% and 96.86% for human resources information in sending and receiving endpoints, respectively. The utilization of SaaS cloud computing enhances HR management system efficiency, and information trust optimizes HR information security during transmission. © 2024 IEEE.

The monitoring system has become a crucial concept for decision-making and management because of the development of data output in the industrial business. It is possible to use sensor-based technologies, such as the Internet of Things (IoT), to monitor the manufacturing process effectively. IoT and Machine Learning (ML) are offered in this study as a solution for monitoring the production system. Specifically, there is a paucity of cloud-based manufacturing equipment that can provide on-demand manufacturing services through the Internet in this study. The technical problems and enabling technologies of cloud-based manufacturing equipment are discussed in detail in this paper. Data from preprocessed time series data is transmitted to cloud services for trend prediction and data completion using a large short-term memory recurrent neural network, a first-order forward difference, and the original sequence of historical data, and the results are returned. In time-series data processing, machine learning may considerably enhance the efficiency and accuracy, as evidenced by the results of the IIoT oil production IIoT system. © 2022 IEEE.

In recent years, unmanned surface vehicles (USVs) have made important advances in civil, maritime, and military applications. With the continuous improvement of autonomy, the increasing complexity of tasks, and the emergence of various types of advanced sensors, higher requirements are imposed on the computing performance of USVs clusters, especially for latency sensitive tasks. Therefore, this paper proposes a fog-cloud computing architecture for USVs clusters, which dynamically allocates USVs cluster computing resources and cloud computing resources to achieve overall optimized computing performance. However, due to the mobility of USVs cluster nodes, the network topology, the wireless channel states and the available computing resources are changing rapidly and difficult to predict. In this work, we develop a learning-based task offloading framework using the multi-armed bandit (MAB) theory, which enables vehicles to learn the potential task offloading performance of its neighboring team nodes with excessive computing resources, and minimizes the average offloading delay. We propose an adaptive upper confidence bound (AUCB) algorithm and augment it with load-awareness and occurrence-awareness, by redesigning the utility function of the classic MAB algorithms. The proposed AUCB algorithm can effectively adapt to the dynamic marine fog computing environment, balance the tradeoff between exploration and exploitation in the learning process, and converge fast to the optimal computing nodes with theoretical performance guarantee. Simulations under synthetic scenario are carried out, showing that the proposed algorithm achieves close-to-optimal delay performance under both heavy and light input data load. © 2019 IEEE.

cloud computing has evolved to emerge the most topical IT paradigm in recent times. cloud computing is rapidly transforming the IT landscape. On a pay-as-you-use basis, cloud consumers can access resources, applications and infrastructure provided by cloud providers. Such access could be in form of applications already deployed by cloud providers for use by the cloud users. It could be in form of the capability to develop and deploy user applications using services of a cloud provider. In addition, massive storage infrastructure is available for database and data supplied by the user. The cloud has several unique architectures and many more are still evolving. The primary ones are the SaaS, PaaS and the IaaS that can be deployed on private, public, community and hybrid clouds. This paper examines present developments in the cloud computing architecture and presents guidance for additional research. Papers published in journals, conferences, white papers were analyzed. The objective of this present work is to identify, examine and explain the current trends and development in cloud computing architecture. However, only 13% of the papers examined discussed Others-as-a-Service, while only 26% of the papers reviewed considered issues relating to the major actors involved in cloud computing. This will beneficial to cloud providers, users, and researchers alike. © 2018 IEEE.

cloud computing is now the most popular research field. Many IT giants have built their own cloud computing infrastructure like Google App Engine, Amazon Web Service, Microsoft Azure, as well as many other open source cloud computing platforms. However, there are several issues with existing cloud computing platforms and frameworks, such as hardly migrate, a lack of standardization and customization, limited interoperability. In this paper, we put forward a cloud architecture based on SOA(Service – Oriented architecture) to alleviate issues associated with standardization and customization. The proposed architecture not only supports traditional cloud facilities, but also provide an intelligent service layer interaction with all cloud services. With this new architecture we can easily migrate our services to different clouds and the cloud provider can afford customizable services. Furthermore, the cloud computing systems will be more flexible.

This work describes a cloud computing architecture model for collaborative environments based on decoupling single processes of complex tasks through queues, and offering them as a service in the cloud. Complex tasks are built by means of relations between single processes, using a task specification language. A dispatcher orchestrates the whole model, deciding the next process to be executed in every stage. The cloud model implementation is scalable and elastic, dynamically adapting the resources to the application demands. Both, processes and dispatcher, are auto-scalable thus making the system robust, fault tolerant and flexible. © 2016 AISTI.
