When processing massive data, existing classification methods frequently take too long to compute, making their performance challenging to satisfy the actual needs of big data applications. In this paper, an SPRINT optimization classification algorithm based on a cloud computing framework is studied. The idea is to build a three-level cloud computing framework, and the optimization SPRINT classification algorithm is implanted into it so that the SPRINT classification algorithm has better stability and communication efficiency, as well as a higher-performance parallel computing environment in the process of processing big data. SPRINT classification algorithm optimization the process is as follows: First, the segmentation of GiNi value nodes is used to enhance the parallel computing capability of the classification algorithm and the optimization ability of continuous attributes. Next, the subsets of the big data set are reclassified, and the decision tree construction is finished based on the optimal segmentation point to enhance the big data classification processing ability. According to the experimental findings, the cloud computing framework's optimized SPRINT classification algorithm outperforms the more established big data classification algorithm in terms of classification performance and efficiency, as well as execution rate and parallel performance. © 2023 IEEE.

To improve the performance of a marine information service platform architecture and reduce the constraints of single-discriminant parameters in the unit process, an architecture method of a marine information service platform based on a cloud computing framework is proposed. The method has a higher load-detection rate and a lower load-error-detection rate.

Dynamic pricing based on a cloud computing framework to support the integration of renewable energy sources

Integration of renewable energy sources into the electric grid in the domestic sector results in bidirectional energy flow from the supply side of the consumer to the grid. Traditional pricing methods are difficult to implement in such a situation of bidirectional energy flow and they face operational challenges on the application of price-based demand side management programme because of the intermittent characteristics of renewable energy sources. In this study, a dynamic pricing method using real-time data based on a cloud computing framework is proposed to address the aforementioned issues. The case study indicates that the dynamic pricing captures the variation of energy flow in the household. The dynamic renewable factor introduced in the model supports consumer oriented pricing. A new method is presented in this study to determine the appropriate level of photovoltaic (PV) penetration in the distribution system based on voltage stability aspect. The load flow study result for the electric grid in Kerala, India, indicates that the overvoltage caused by various PV penetration levels up to 33% is within the voltage limits defined for distribution feeders. The result justifies the selected level of penetration.

cloud computing paradigm has been recognized recently as key enabling efficient and effective technological services that will reshape the delivery and support of the educational services. In this paper, we review the literature on cloud computing adoption by Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) that were published during the period 2009 - 2014. The motivation was to identify the main frameworks, models and architectures that were proposed for establishing cloud computing services inside HEIs. Furthermore, the review researched standard definitions and main characteristics, offered services and delivered models of cloud computing technology. It identified 133 papers that were published during the last six years and were focused on cloud computing adoption frameworks, models and architectures for HEIs. The review also provides a landscape of the research in this area and draws attention for more investigation in this field towards developing a comprehensive unified framework for the adoption of cloud computing services in HEIs.
