The construction features of autocollimation systems for measurement the large-sized and extended objects deformations at industry, power and scientific instrument making are considered. The conditions of increase of a distance of measurement are analyzed in comparison with the serial autocollimation devices. The error of measurement by the restriction of a working beam is investigated. The structure of algorithm for reduces the systematic error of the measurement which based on received analytical expression of function of an error is determined.

To improve the control accuracy and response speed,and the nonlinear characteristics caused by the dead-zone of the valve and the asymmetry and friction force of the cylinder in the electro-hydraulic proportional servo system,the control strategy of variable domain fuzzy PID control and the static dead-zone and asymmetry compensation algorithm are *** simulation results show that the variable domain fuzzy PID control can improve the control accuracy and response *** experimental results show that the static dead-zone and asymmetry compensation algorithm combined with variable domain fuzzy PID control improves the performance of the position control system of the electro-hydraulic proportional valve controlled hydraulic cylinder;in the square wave tracking experiment,the overshoot is 0 and the steady-state error is 1 mm;in the sine wave tracking experiment,the flat top phenomenon and the lag of the commutation point are eliminated,and the maximum error is reduced from 9 mm to 4 mm;in the triangle wave tracking experiment,the maximum error at the commutation point is 4 mm.

This paper reports a self-powered pressure sensor that operates on the triboelectric principle and features a distinctive compensation mechanism. This compensation system accounts for fluctuations in surface charge density. The two signals are generated from the sensor, an open-circuit voltage and a calibration voltage. By analyzing both signals concurrently, the current surface charge density can be determined. The calibration voltage is generated through an electrical switch that closes only at specific deformations of the sensor. The compensation system was effective in a variety of humidity conditions. © 2023 IEEJ.

In this paper, a gas detection system with an environmental compensation algorithm based on nondispersive infrared (NDIR) technology was designed. The prepared infrared pyroelectric detector was a dual-channel type based on the lithium tantalate (LiTaO3) wafer. The design of the optical gas chamber adopted a combination of two ellipsoids and a spherical top surface, which not only enhanced the coupling efficiency of the light propagation but also facilitated the miniaturization of the sensor module. In addition to this, a temperature and humidity compensation algorithm based on the least square method was proposed to make the measurement accuracy up to +/- 0.9% full scale (FS).

A carbon monoxide sensor with composite detection capabilities for carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, and nitric oxide gases was developed using gas concentration detection technology based on composite electrochemical components to address the issue of crossinterference between exhaust gas and sulfur-containing gases from diesel vehicles and gas detection by mining carbon monoxide sensors. The sensor gas detection module includes two parts: a carbon monoxide hydrogen sulfide dual gas detection module and a nitric oxide gas detection module. The module is composed of gas detection components and signal detection circuits. An experiment was conducted to study the effects of hydrogen sulfide and nitric oxide gases on the detection results of carbon monoxide gas concentration. Through data analysis and linear fitting, a gas cross-interference compensation algorithm formula was obtained. The based on composite electrochemical elements has a measurement error of less than 5% in the mixed gas environment, meets the requirements of the AQ6205-2006 coal mine electrochemical carbon monoxide transducer, and can meet the technical requirements for the accurate detection of carbon monoxide gas of an underground rubber-tire truck transportation roadway.

Designing a Smart Bath Assistive Device Based on Measuring Inner Water Temperature for Bathing Temperature Monitoring

Today, taking a bath is not only a means to keep clean, but also to reduce fatigue and stress. However, taking a bath with hot water for a long time can also be dangerous, leading to scalding or even a heart attack. To prevent these risks, several studies based on measuring bio-signals have been conducted, but due to high prices, difficulty of use, and restricted functions, these studies' recommendations cannot be easily adopted by the public. Therefore, developing accurate methods to measure bathing temperature and bathing time should be the most direct approach to solve these problems. In this study, a smart bath assistive device based on an inner water temperature measurement function is proposed. Prior to development of the device, a bathing environment was emulated with six temperature sensors affixed to different depths to find the optimal depth for measuring bathing temperature. According to the measurement results, the device was designed in a mushroom shape with the cap part floating on the water's surface and housing the electronic components, and temperature sensors within the stem part were immersed in the water approximately 5 cm below the surface to measure the inner water temperature. Due to the low-power consuming Advanced RISC Machine (ARM) processor and waterproof design, the device is able to float in hot water and monitor the bathing temperature variation over a long period of time. The device was compared alongside a commercial analog bathing thermometer to verify the performance of temperature measurements. In addition, a compensation algorithm was developed and programmed into the device to improve the accuracy of measurements. Processed data is transmitted by Bluetooth to a dedicated Android app for data display and storage. The final results show that the proposed device is highly accurate and stable for monitoring bathing temperature.

The LNG shipbuilding profiles' deformation leads to lots of challenges for hi-precision shipbuilding,in order to achieve hi-precision manufacturing for deformed LNG shipbuilding profiles,a 3D-compensating algorithm for shipbuilding profile deformation is developed based on the profile deformation happening *** spatial coordinates on edge curve of the profile are measured and collected by a moving 2D laser *** on the collected profile edge coordinates,an formula of polynomial curve is defined and fitted by the method of least squares,which takes accumulated chord length as *** coordinates on a standard profile,the target coordinates on deformed profile can be calculated,eventually the deformation of the profile is compensated and the hi-precision manufacturing for deformed shipbuilding profile is ***,the compensation algorithm has been implemented with VC++ and MATLAB mixed programming technology,which has been used in a robot flexible cutting system for serial production a famous shipbuilding *** results show the 3D-deformation of shipbuilding profiles get compensated as expected,it also verified the algorithm is effective and efficient.

Active power compensators have been extensively using the time domain compensation ***,they are not able to separately recognize and compensate power properties regarding the load–terminal characteristics (***,distorted and so on).The CPC theory in the frequency domain,on the contrary,can accurately recognize the load–terminal components in three–phase three–wire ***,the CPC–based compensation algorithm is not easy to implement in terms of hardware requirements even in three– wire systems because of intensive Fourier *** paper intends to analyze the applicability and performance of a switch–mode compensator controlled by advanced generalized theory of instantaneous power (A–GTIP) based on the CPC *** focus will be the oscillating instantaneous powers that lead to torque oscillations in a weak micro–***,the CPC theory are redefined in the time–domain based on the A– GTIP ***,it is shown that an advanced universal power quality conditioning system (AUPQS) can effectively recognize and accurately compensate the physical components of the source–end currents in three–phase four–wire *** of the proposed AUPQS is confirmed by Matlab/ Simulink simulations.
