In this work the forced vibration analysis of rectangular membranes with clamped edges has been carried out. The analysis has been carried out for the square as well as rectangular membranes of different aspect ratios. During the study, fundamental frequency and its variation has been analysed with regards to dimensions of the membrane, density and tension in the membrane. A computer algorithm has been written to calculate the natural frequencies for square as well as rectangular membranes with different aspect ratios. Furthermore, the computer code calculates the steady forced vibration response of the membrane for any forcing function. In addition to this, the effect of aspect ratio on the natural frequencies of the membrane has also been analysed. For the steady forced vibration response, six different forces (periodic force, impulse force, step force, pulse force, ramp force and blast force) have been analysed. Deflection plots for square as well as rectangular membranes have been obtained for different instants of time. The algorithm developed during the research will help researchers to carry out the forced vibration response analysis of the square as well as rectangular membranes of any aspect ratio and dimensions.

In recent years, the rapid development of artificial intelligence and its applications in various fields have led to the rapid development of computer music. Among them, algorithmic composition is an important research field of computer music, which aims to use computer technology to achieve the purpose of automatic composition in the process of composition. Impromptu accompaniment of piano has a very important position in dance art performance. Therefore, this article aims to study the improvisational dance piano accompaniment system based on BP neural network, and analyze the basic principles of BP neural network, the characteristics of BP neural network and dance performance. Based on the role of impromptu accompaniment, an impromptu piano accompaniment system is designed combined with the BP neural network algorithm. Finally, three professional composers were invited to conduct a systematic evaluation of the results of the accompaniment system. The evaluation concluded that the 10 types of results generated by the piano accompaniment system performed well in the accuracy of harmony, coherence, and technical complexity of the accompaniment, and the overall effect also meet the needs of this article.

In order to identify an object, human eyes firstly search the field of view for points or areas which have particular properties. These properties are used to recognise an image or an object. Then this process could be taken as a model to develop computer algorithms for images identification. This paper proposes the idea of applying the simplified firefly algorithm to search for key-areas in 2D images. For a set of input test images the proposed version of firefly algorithm has been examined. Research results are presented and discussed to show the efficiency of this evolutionary computation method.

A cognitive-based routing algorithm for crowd dynamics under incomplete or even incorrect map knowledge

A cognitive-based routing algorithm is proposed. Concepts like local form and path algorithms are developed. Unlike current mainstream routing algorithms assume that all people know everything about the environment, the proposed algorithm allows people to have a complete or incomplete map knowledge and built up their own map knowledge in a piecemeal fashion. Using a hospital floor plan as the scenario, numerical experiments are conducted by assuming pedestrians to have different levels of map knowledge. Results show that reasonable routes could be frequently found even if pedestrians only have an incomplete knowledge of the network. Also pedestrians generally need to traverse more rooms if having zero or less map knowledge. Hence the proposed algorithm's effectiveness is validated to some extent.

Repetitive Control (RC) is a control method for tracking a periodic command or eliminating a periodic disturbance to a control system, aiming for zero tracking error in each case. Applications in spacecraft address jitter from internal moving parts such as reaction wheels, control moment gyros, a momentum wheel, or a cryo pump. RC requires knowledge of the reference or disturbance period. RC performance suffers if the period fluctuates or is not precisely known. Second order RC (SORC) offers less sensitivity to accurate period knowledge, but stability analysis is difficult because of the high order governing difference equations. Sufficient stability conditions can be helpful in the design process. This paper presents a derivation of a sufficient condition, developed based on a partial fraction expansion, that makes SORC only require data from one period back. This can significantly reduce the memory requirements. This approach was originally developed in a companion paper treating magnetically suspended rotors, and used an unusual block diagram configuration. This approach is developed here for the standard block diagram structure for RC. It is then compared to the true stability boundary and to different sufficient conditions developed by the third author and coworkers. Which sufficient condition is closest to the true stability boundary is established for different situations. The designer may find it beneficial to examine multiple conditions.

Sorting algorithms find their application in many fields. One of their main uses is to organize databases. Classical applications of sorting algorithms often can not cope satisfactorily with large data sets or with unfavorable poses of sorted strings. Typically, in such situations, we try to use other methods or apply sorting process to reshuffled input data. Unfortunately, this approach complicates sorting process and often results in significant prolongation of the time. In this paper, the authors examined an algorithm dedicated to the problem of sorting large scale data sets. In the literature, there are no studies of such examples. These studies will allow to describe the properties of sorting methods for large scale data sets. Performed tests have shown superior performance of the examined algorithm, especially for large scale data sets. Changes sped up sorting of data with any arrangement of the input elements.

Changes in the conduction type of a multicrystalline brick can occur, since a high phosphorus concentration is typical for the low quality feedstock that is usually used in PV industry. The inline detection of these changes is made possible via photoconductivity measurements. The measured photoconductivity depends strongly on the resistivity of the sample. With a developed computer algorithm the sharp raises of the photoconductivity at pn-changes can be detected in bricks. With these measurements it is possible to detect pn-changes with a one mm resolution as early as possible in the production process.

Our society's production and living practices have undergone a significant change as a result of the quick advancement of computer science and technology and their ever-expanding uses. algorithms for network graph computation have emerged as a key resource for handling the increasing volume of web data. This is especially important when dealing with large amounts of network data, including data from social media, the Internet and the Internet of Things. By combining the theory of control algorithms with network graph computation algorithms, it provides a strong support for building smarter and more efficient automated systems as well as more reliable network infrastructures. The main content of this paper will focus on the control algorithm theory and network graph computing algorithm to briefly explain and analyze, and based on artificial intelligence algorithms for visual identification of network equipment in computer labs, mainly for computer lab operation and maintenance situation for supervision and equipment identification. When the laboratory equipment terminal fails, the server side of the system can obtain the current operating condition of the equipment terminal, collect the interface image information of the current equipment terminal through the server-side data acquisition system, carry out intelligent identification of the acquired data information. The paper will also delve into the analysis and processing of identification results. It will detail how these results can be effectively processed and interpreted. Additionally, it will discuss methods of analyzing the results and potential solutions to market to end users. Ultimately, the paper aims to provide users with reasonable and feasible solutions to equipment anomalies. The recognition algorithm has high timeliness and short response time, which basically meets the daily operation and maintenance needs of the laboratory, and provides solutions to the user's problem solving, aiming to provide valu
