The growing requirements for faster decision-making in the management of information and control systems operation explain the need to use information about their current and projected technical condition for preventive troubleshooting, improvements and replacement of equipment. The successful solution of this problem not least depends on the performance of computing systems of diagnostic systems when processing a significant amount of data on the technical condition. This paper describes a new multi-method technology PAKS-M (Progressive Aggregation of the Classified Situations by many Methods) for the multi-criteria choice. This technology provides reducing the dimension of the attribute space, constructing several hierarchical systems of composite criteria and an integral quality index that aggregates initial attributes as well as the classification and/or ordering of multi-attribute objects using different combinations of several decision-making methods. The technology is based on the knowledge of experts and/or the preferences of a decision maker (DM). It significantly reduces the time and complexity of solution of a multi-criteria choice task, and allows a decision maker to conduct a meaningful analysis of the results. This technology was used for the multi-criteria selection of a prospective computing complex.

The position service is becoming more and more important for WSN applications. In order to resolve the problem of low positioning accuracy in WSN, a new positioning algorithm based on virtual beacon nodes is proposed. In this algorithm, the space is divided into several equal areas by anchor nodes;PIT theory is used to estimate the preliminary regional;the best virtual beacon nodes is calculated through the approach degree;finally, an unknown nodes position can be calculated by computing the centroid of the selected anchor nodes. This algorithm adopts the RF signal to locate unknown node. It can not only avoid the overlapped error in a range-based localization algorithm, but also avoid high complexity.
