In distributed database systems, the main problem occurs when managing the transactions (concurrencycontrol and commit). In real-time context, the problem is more complex, since these processes must be done with respect to the transaction deadlines. In this paper, we deal with the global distributed transaction commit and the local concurrencycontrol problems in applications where a transaction is decomposed into a mandatory part and an optional part. Based on the RT_WEP and PROMPT protocols, we propose a new protocol that combines the concurrencycontrol and commit management of RT_WEP and the lending of uncommitted data of PROMPT. In other words, we propose to add the concept of lending uncommitted data in RT_WEP to reduce the blocking time of the transactions. Thus, transactions have more chances to meet their deadlines.
