The RBF networks have shown their own approximation properties, which are similar those of multilayer perceptrons. The family of RBF networks is sufficiently broad to uniformly approximate any continuous function on a compact set, and these networks present satisfactory generalization capability in solving different classification and prediction problems. The ELM algorithm eliminates the drawbacks of these popular learning techniques. In ELM, the input weights of SLFNs do not need to be tuned and can be randomly generated, whereas the output weights are analytically determined using the least-square method. These properties make ELM suitable for finding the optimal weights for the radial BFL network. Experimental results on benchmarks and real-world approximation and classification problems show the superior generalization performance of the presented network compared with ELM-RBF models. This study considerably contributes to high-density polyethylene processing in the chemical industry.

In recent years, with the continuous expansion of college enrollment, China's higher education has gradually entered the stage of popular education. The employment pressure faced by college graduates has attracted many people's attention. Quantitative analysis and speculation about college graduates are rare. Therefore, the application of data mining technology in the analysis of college students' employment was put forward in this paper, which was of great practical significance. Based on this, the factors affecting the employment of college students based on data mining algorithm were studied. The data mining technology was firstly introduced in this paper. Secondly, the employment analysis of classification decision tree based on data mining technology was also introduced. Finally, the concrete process of the research on the influencing factors of college students' employment based on the data mining algorithm was introduced in detail. The experimental results show that college students should improve their professional foundation and quality, constantly change the concept of employment, rationally adjust the expectations of employment, and consciously acquire, accumulate and use the relevant social capital.

Privacy amid rapid digitalization of medical records is a critical ingredient to the success of electronic-based health service. This paper explores the potential roles of privacy attitudes concerning medical data, based on a large set of a national sample data (n = 2638) from the U.S. Health Information National Trend Survey. We examine the ways in which privacy concern and confidence are (a) mediated through one's interest in sharing information with health professionals and (b) moderated by one's medical condition and the reliance on Internet. Evidence from this study provides insights into the factors shaping health-related engagement in information technologies, helping us argue that privacy is a key predictor. Discussion offers interpretations of how people's perceived need of medical data will mediate privacy concern, contextualizing the affordances of health technologies in future algorithmic applications.

The artificial intelligence method, combined with feature extraction algorithm, is proposed in this paper to improve the accuracy and efficiency of handwritten character recognition. This paper presents a novel feature extraction method by a neural response, which is introduced by merging the hierarchical architectures with the sparse coding approach. Regarding the proposed layered model, sparse coding and pooling operations are utilized in each layer of the hierarchy. This paper also presents a new method that employs the formulated hierarchical sparse method to increase the recognition rate of offline handwritten characters. Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can rapidly and accurately perform the required task.

Transportation is the engine of growth and the bedrock to the rapid development of every country or economy. Therefore, various components that constitute the transportation system must be considered seriously to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the entire system. In this paper, artificial intelligence is proposed as a factor in formulating a parking planning and management strategy. Field observation and questionnaires were administered to private and commercial drivers and secondary data were gathered from journals, books, news, and the Internet. Based on the information gathered and the results of analysis conducted on the data, a comprehensive parking policy is recommended particularly for central business districts. This policy must be accompanied by a strict management system.
