Current web application scanner reports contribute little to diagnosis and remediation when dealing with vulnerabilities that are related or vulnerability variants. We propose a quantitative framework that combines degree of confidence reports pre-computed from various scanners. The output is evaluated and mapped based on derived metrics to appropriate remediation for the detected vulnerabilities and vulnerability variants. The objective is to provide a trusted level of diagnosis and remediation that is appropriate. Examples based on commercial scanners and existing vulnerabilities and variants are used to demonstrate the framework's capability.

We consider serially-concatenated coding schemes over channels impaired by insertion, deletion, and substitution errors. Specifically, we focus on the interleaved concatenation of an outer channel code with error-correction capabilities and an inner marker code with synchronization capabilities. To limit the decoding latency, marker code-based synchronization is performed only once per received packet, i.e., iterations with the outer decoder are not allowed. We first numerically evaluate, through mutual information analyses, the ultimate rate achievable by this concatenated scheme when standard bit-level synchronization is performed. Then, we introduce a novel symbol-level synchronization algorithm that works on groups of consecutive bits, and show that it improves the achievable rate. Besides the achievable rate analyses, which allow us to optimize the marker code, we also report error-rate simulation results that confirm the superiority of symbol-level synchronization.

This paper describes how to develop a torque control algorithm for automatic guided vehicle (AGV). Also, this paper describes a prototype machine which the method is implemented into. The prototype machine used in this paper is a wheel type robot with the H8 microcomputer. This paper points out that the proposed algorithm is helpful in terms of implementation experiments.

In this paper, a loosely coupled integration system is proposed for improving the positioning performance of a mobile robot by fusing the Pseudolite Ultrasonic System (PUS), which is an absolute position measurement system using direct ultrasonic wave, with the odometer of Dead-Reckoning (DR). The PUS and the DR calculate position independently and a Kalman filter estimates the position using position information from the PUS and the DR. To estimate the position of the mobile robot accurately in case the LOS (line-of-sight) between ultrasonic transmitter and receiver is blocked due to obstacles, a positioning failure detection algorithm is proposed. The positioning performances of the proposed loosely coupled integrated system are verified and evaluated by experiments. The experimental results show that the position of mobile robot is estimated accurately by the proposed algorithm.

Eye detecting is an important part of computer face recognition. Eye detecting is vulnerable to impact of different gesture and light under complex environment. In order to solve the complex environment of the human eye positioning problem, use a Based on Adaboost and gray-scale information of the human eye detection algorithm. Firstly, collecting different eye samples carries out the balance of gray. From a database select a small number of Haar-like features produce a strong and efficient classifier. Secondly, using a method of cascade constitutes a more complex cascade classifier. And then, using gray-scale threshold means carries out preprocessing. At last, applying a classifier carries out eye detection.

In Surveillance system usually look for the color or edge of an object in order to identify its key features, and this leads us to the key topic of geometric detection algorithms. For spatial calibration method in this thesis, the ellipse is used as the calibration target object. The method proposed by this paper applies fuzzy logic to the image pre-processing, and then links adjacent objects within the image to designate as region of interest. Sobel edge detection is passed onto the region of interest, and then the ellipse is approximated by the least square method. Spatial calibration can subsequently be performed using data from the detected information of ellipse. By adding fuzzy logic to the image pre-processing, not only can we reduce the area of interest for detection, eliminate some of the noise, and accelerate the detection efficiency, but also improve the level of intelligence of the original surveillance system.

In a multiuser code division multiple access system with high capacity, the computational complexity of its optimum detection algorithm is too high for the receiver to realize. Therefore, a lot of suboptimum algorithms are widely researched. Both genetic algorithm and sphere decoding algorithm can both greatly decrease the detection complexity, hence quickly approach a suboptimum solution. A kind of sphere-decoding-algorithm-aided genetic algorithm detector is proposed, where sphere decoding is only one step of genetic algorithm operation followed by the selection-crossover-mutation step. Simulation results show that this modified detector can get better performance than that of both the classic genetic algorithm detector with the same number of iteration and the sphere decoding algorithm detector.

It is proved that combination networks can achieve unbounded network coding gain measured by the ratio of network throughput with network coding to that without network coding in peer-to-peer file sharing system. On the other side, network coding allows the polluted packet generated by a malicious node to corrupt the packets transmission of the entire network. One polluted packet will prevent the other nodes from correct decoding. To settle the problem, we introduce a polluted packets detection method based on multiple vectors orthogonal to the universal set of vectors for the transmitted network coding packets. The main idea of this method is to calculate numbers of orthogonal vectors and send them to different relay nodes and receiver nodes which use them to judge whether the newly received packets are in the subspace based on the source packets. This is a distributed algorithm, without the requirement of an extra secure channel. Through the analysis and simulation in n-layer combination networks case, the computational complexity of the detection algorithm is O(n), n is the packet length, and the detection rate can be greater than 90%.

With the development of automotive industry and transportation, the safety of transportation is huge invisible trouble by bringing great convenience to human being for many years. As result, the reappearance for the simulation of traffic accidents scene is essential. On the other side the reappearance of traffic accidents is not only the method to evaluate the responsibility, analysis the cause, but also to provide the most important materials of prevent and eliminate traffic accidents as possible. OpenGL will be used in this subject which is a graphic library, mainly use on computer graphics and computer image area, especially for computer simulation. Using OpenGL technology to reappearance traffic accidents scene will give the scene of accidents the realest reappearance. This paper proposes researching on reappearance the scene of traffic accidents by OpenGL. In this paper, collision detection (CD) of three dimension (3D) objects will be used. Based on the AABB collision detection, it proposes a new algorithm CAABB collision detection, CAABB will be used on the collision of two objects. There will be two tables to show the difference of using CAABB and without CAABB.

Enhanced Video-Based Target detection using Multi-Frame Correlation Filtering

Most existing video-based target detection systems employ state-space models to keep track of an explicit number of individual targets. We introduce a framework for enhancing target detection in video by applying probabilistic models to the soft information in correlation outputs before thresholding. We show how to efficiently compute arrays of posterior target probabilities for every position in the scene conditioned on all current and past frames of a video sequence. These arrays can then be thresholded in the typical manner to yield more reliable target detections. Because the framework avoids the formation of explicit tracks, it is well suited for handling scenes with unknown numbers of targets at unknown positions. Simulation results on forward-looking infrared (FLIR) video sequences show that our proposed framework can significantly reduce the false-alarm rate of a bank of correlation filters while requiring only a marginal increase in computation.
