In this paper, the basic process of random access is briefly introduced first, a frequency-domain detection algorithms Suitable for criterion is proposed based on the structural characteristics of LTE TDD PRACH format4, PRACH signal launch model and key features of Zadoff-Chu sequence. Under the program in the detection of user testing, uplink synchronization estimate and analysis of the coverage area, the simulation results and conclusions are drawn finally. The simulation results show that the algorithm is low computational complexity, and can be carried out at the same time for multi-user detection and synchronization estimate compared to traditional time-domain matching method.

The area of clone detection has considerably evolved over the last decade, leading to approaches with better results, but at the same time using more elaborate algorithms and tool chains. In our opinion a level has been reached, where the initial investment required to setting a clone detection tool chain and the code infrastructure required for experimenting with new heuristics and algorithms seriously hampers the exploration of novel solutions or specific case studies. As a solution, this paper presents CloneDetective, an open source framework and tool chain for clone detection, which is especially geared towards configurability and extendability and thus supports the preparation and conduction of clone detection research.

This paper proposes a comprehensive new neural spike detection and sorting system. As a critical first step to all neuroscientific studies of the nervous system using chronically implanted electrodes in the brain areas of interest, high performance neural spike detection and sorting from the massive amount of continuously recorded neural data is a challenging task, especially in real time applications such as brain machine interface. Many existing spike detection and sorting systems use simple thresholding as the first step to admit a large number of possible spikes for further sorting using various clustering algorithms. Significant efforts have gone into developing sophisticated sorting algorithms, many of which are time consuming in applications. In this paper, we develop a new system that is based on a reliable detection algorithm using multiple correlations of wavelet coefficients, which is robust and can be implemented in real time. Because of the advanced detection step, the system becomes less demanding on the performance of the sorting or clustering algorithms. This has simplified the overall system, and made real time interface and other real time applications possible. We tested the newly proposed system extensively, compared with several popular systems including commercial packages. While most thresholding based detection systems usually create a large number of false alarms, test results show that our proposed system on both artificial and real neural data have produced few false alarms but with high detection rates.

Model-Driven Engineering (MDE) has become an important development framework for many large-scale software. Previous research has reported that as in traditional code-based development, cloning also occurs in MDE. However there has been little work on clone detection in models with the limitations on detection precision and completeness. This paper presents ModelCD, a novel clone detection tool for Matlab/Simulink models, that is able to efficiently and accurately detect both exactly matched and approximate model clones. The core of ModelCD is two novel graph-based clone detection algorithms that are able to systematically and incrementally discover clones with a high degree of completeness, accuracy, and scalability. We have conducted an empirical evaluation with various experimental studies on many real-world systems to demonstrate the usefulness of our approach and to compare the performance of ModelCD with existing tools.

We present an effective static deadlock detection algorithm Java. Our algorithm uses a novel combination of static analyses each of which approximates a different necessary condition for a deadlock. We have implemented the algorithm and report upon our experience applying it to a suite of multi-threaded Java programs. While neither sound nor complete, our approach is effective in practice, finding all known deadlocks as well as discovering previously unknown ones in our benchmarks with few false alarms.

Knowing accurate positions of nodes in wireless ad-hoc and sensor networks is essential for a wide range of pervasive and mobile applications. However, errors are inevitable in distance measurements and we observe that a small number of outliers can degrade localization accuracy drastically. To deal with noisy and outlier ranging results, triangle inequality is often employed in existing approaches. Our study shows that triangle inequality has a lot of limitations which make it far from accurate and reliable. In this study, we formally define the outlier detection problem for network localization and build a theoretical foundation to identify outliers based on graph embeddability and rigidity theory. Our analysis shows that the redundancy of distance measurements plays an important role. We then design a bilateration generic cycles based outlier detection algorithm, and examine its effectiveness and efficiency through a network prototype implementation of MicaZ motes as well as extensive simulations. The results shows that our design significantly improves the localization accuracy by wisely rejecting outliers.

Automatic music transcription is a challenging topic in audio signal processing. It consists in transforming the musical content of audio data into a symbolic notation. The system discussed in this paper takes as input the sound of a recorded polyphonic piano music and it produces conventional musical representation as output. For each note event two main characteristics are considered: the attack instant and the pitch. Onset detection is obtained through a time-frequency representation of the audio signal. Note classification is based on constant Q transform (CQT) and support vector machines (SVMs). In particular, in this paper we propose a short-term memory based feature vector for classification. To validate the efficacy of short-term memory, we present a collection of experiments using synthesized MIDI files and piano recordings, and we compare the results with other existing approaches.

This paper considers the problem of detecting ground moving targets in a wireless sensor network for military surveillance application. The sensor nodes are severely constrained in both power and computational performance, and the battle field environments are commonly very complicated. A modified order statistic constant false alarm rate (OS-CFAR) detection algorithm was chosen to be implemented on sensor nodes. The algorithm includes background estimate and adaptive threshold. The experimental results with real acoustic and seismic data indicate that this algorithm is robust and flexible.

The capability of identifying physical structures in an unknown environment is important for autonomous mobile robot navigation and scene understanding. A methodology for detecting corridor and door structures in an indoor environment is proposed, and the performances of the corridor detection algorithm and door detection algorithm applied in different environments are evaluated. In the proposed algorithms, we utilize a feedback mechanism based hypothesis generation and verification (HGV) method to detect corridor and door structures using low level line features in video images. The proposed method consists of low, intermediate, and high level processing stages which correspond to the extraction of low-level features, the formation of hypotheses, and the verification of hypotheses using a feedback mechanism, respectively. The system has been tested on a large number of real corridor images captured by a moving robot in a corridor. The experimental results validated the effectiveness and robustness of the proposed methods with respect to different viewpoints, different robot moving speed, under different illumination conditions and reflection variations.

Aimed at the problem that many AID algorithms have lower detection rate and higher false alarming rate, this paper proposed a kind of AID algorithms for freeways based on SVM. The eigenvector reflecting traffic state was designed according to selected traffic measures that can be provided by many kinds of traffic sensors. AID algorithms were designed based on different sorts of SVM models and tested and compared with simulated data. The results showed that the performances of proposed methods are better than selected classic AID algorithms
