Along with the rapid development of science and technology as well as popularization of computer network technology, people have higher demands for computer information applications and processing, thus optimization of distributed computer has become a focus paid attention by more and more people. network sharing is an important symbol of contemporary network, and how to realize network information transmission and management have become important study objects in computer industries. The development focus of computer science and technology should be also on related studies of artificial intelligent algorithm, and the core element of computer is artificial intelligence, thus artificial intelligent algorithm is of great significance to the optimization of distributed computer network. Therefore, this paper makes an analysis of optimization design of distributed computer network based on artificial intelligent algorithm, and there are five parts of this paper. The first part of this paper gives a general introduction of the whole paper. The second part of this paper is an overview of artificial intelligent algorithm including its definition, advantages and development. The third part of this paper is makes an analysis of distributed computer network including its characteristics, performance indexes as well as advantages and disadvantages. The fourth part of this paper proposes some optimization strategies of design of distributed computer network based on artificial intelligent algorithm, and a general conclusion in given in the last part of this paper.

A Correctness Proof of a Topology Information Maintenance Protocol for a distributed computer network

In order for the nodes of a distributed computer network to communicate, each node must have information about the network's topology. Since nodes and links sometimes crash, a scheme is needed to update this information. One of the major constraints on such a topology information scheme is that it may not involve a central controller. The Topology Information Protocol that was implemented on the MERIT computer network is presented and explained;this protocol is quite general and could be implemented on any computer network. It is based on Baran's “Hot Potato Heuristic Routing Doctrine.” A correctness proof of this Topology Information Protocol is also presented. © 1977, ACM. All rights reserved.

A Block-Diagram Language to Implement Controllers in a distributed computer Control network

A computer network is proposed in which at least two hierarchical levels are distinguished. At the lowest level distributed microcomputer-based controllers are used to carry out control,alarm scanning and data collection. The design and the modification of controllers by the control engineer takes place at a higher level. The supervision of the process by the operator is also performed at a higher level. A command language together with a block-diagram language is introduced. The construction of a specific controller has been facilitated for the designer, who is familiar with block-diagrams. The proposed block-diagram language resembles in many aspects those used in simulation-packages.

Buffer management control in data transport network node

The application of analytical queuing theory results in behaviour analysis of a distributed computer network or mobile data system (data transport network). It belongs to the preferred method in comparison to the simulation method. The use of analytical methods allows us to calculate effectively various values of parameters in equilibrium, including the total input intensity of data units to every node of transport network even for the more realistic models than the M/M/1 systems. However, these results are derived assuming an infinite buffer in size at a given node. For practical application, we need to project the concrete number of buffers in every node. This paper describes the method of buffer management control for each decomposed network's node of a data transport network in two real cases. For this purpose, the linear dependence between buffer memory size and input queue size at each node of a data transport network was used. For these two real statistical distributions of incoming data units closed expressions are derived, enabling to calculate the required queue size for both queue size limitation methods (assumption of the unlimited and limited queue sizes). For practical use, a very efficient way of computing queue overflow probabilities was developed. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.

Intracranial-pressure (i.c.p.) monitoring has been shown to provide valuable information in the care of patients suffering acute head injury. Continuous recording of i.c.p. is essential due to the rapidly changing characteristics that are encountered, but this produces an overwhelming quantity of data when performed for several days. Methods of data reduction are therefore desirable to aid identification of significant features, and may even reveal aspects of the i.c.p. which are not apparent from the raw *** paper describes a bedside microcomputer-based monitoring system which automatically acquires i.c.p. data, and periodically compresses them into histograms of pressure. The histograms are displayed to the nursing staff. The microcomputer forms one limb of a distributed computer network which centralises major computing resources on a minicomputer. Both primary and processed i.c.p. data are transmitted to the minicomputer for storage and offline investigation.

This paper presents an interactive computer package which aids the distributed network designers in choosing the optimum capacity for different links. This package gives the designer a tool to experiment different assignment strategies and compare their results. Four assignment strategies are implemented in this package: Minimum Average Time delay, Min-Max, Equal Capacities and Proportional Capacities Assignment strategies. The designer can also use it to investigate the effect of different routing policies on the values of optimum capacity. Reliability of the network can be examined by choosing routes which avoid broken links. The package is designed to be flexible and extendable so any module can be replaced or new modules can be added without change in other modules of the package.

Data can be stored securely in various storage servers. But in the case of a server failure, or data theft from a certain number of servers, the remaining data becomes inadequate for use. Data is stored securely using secret sharing schemes, so that data can be reconstructed even if some of the servers fail. But not much work has been carried out in the direction of updation of this data. This leads to the problem of updation when two or more concurrent requests arrive and thus, it results in inconsistency. Our work proposes a novel method to store data securely with concurrent update requests using Petri Nets, under the assumption that the number of nodes is very large and the requests for updates are very frequent.

The paper proposes a new approach to multicriteria optimization of the structure of secure information interaction in distributed computing systems. A distinguishing feature of the approach is the use of the sequential concessions method. This approach provides the acceptable flexibility in comparing the system construction variants by taking into account not only the priority of the system according to efficiency indicators, but also the relationships of the indicators. The mathematical basis of the proposed method is considered. The procedure of implementation of the proposed method for ensuring security of information interaction in a distributed hierarchical automated control system is demonstrated, and its experimental assessment is given.
