A connected environment brings a challenge of the privacy for data synchronizations as multiple unexpected/unpredictable parties maybe involved the process of the data usage. Outsourcing tasks results in data uncontrollability and privacy concerns, since service vendors generally have an access to the data stored in the server. Thus, unencrypted data in the third-party server are facing a threat of the privacy leakage due to various potential causes. In this paper, we focus on the privacy leakage issue in data synchronizations, more specifically speaking, to address designing a privacy-preserving method for data multi-storage with a homomorphism capability. The proposed scheme utilizes a tensor-based Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE) that balances privacy protections and functionalities. Design objectives are threefold: the proposed method can (i) protect data owners' privacy, (ii) support arithmetic operations, and (iii) achieve real-time data synchronization. The expected application scenario is synchronizing owner's data with remote servers in cloud computing. Both theoretical proofs and experiment evaluations have been processed in order to examine the adoptability and correctness of our approach.

It is well known that superposition coding, namely separately encoding the independent sources, is optimal for symmetric multilevel diversity coding (SMDC) (Yeung-Zhang 1999). However, the characterization of the coding rate region therein involves uncountably many linear inequalities and the constant term (i.e., the lower bound) in each inequality is given in terms of the solution of a linear optimization problem. Thus this implicit characterization of the coding rate region does not enable the determination of the achievability of a given rate tuple. In this paper, we first obtain closed-form expressions of these uncountably many inequalities. Then we identify a finite subset of inequalities that is sufficient for characterizing the coding rate region. This gives an explicit characterization of the coding rate region. We further show by the symmetry of the problem that only a much smaller subset of this finite set of inequalities needs to be verified in determining the achievability of a given rate tuple. Yet, the cardinality of this smaller set grows at least exponentially fast with L.

Developing and deploying a global and scalable data access service is a challenging task. We assume that the globalization is achieved by creating and maintaining appropriate metadata while the scalability is achieved by limiting the number of entities taking part in keeping the metadata consistency. In this paper, we present different consistency and synchronization models for various metadata types chosen for implementation of global and scalable data access service.

distributed storage systems store a substantial amount of data in a large number of servers built with commodity hardware. In order to protect data against server failures, erasure coding has been deployed in many distributed storage systems because of its low storage overhead. In particular, since disk I/O is, in many cases, a bottleneck in the distributed storage system, locally repairable codes, have been proposed that incur low volumes of disk I/O when reconstructing missing data after server failures. However, since original data can only be read from specific servers, existing designs of locally repairable codes suffer from limited data parallelism. Besides, if the performance of servers is heterogeneous, slow servers may become the bottleneck when accessing data in parallel. In this paper, we propose Galloper codes, a novel family of locally repairable codes, that achieve low disk I/O during reconstruction and meanwhile extend data parallelism from specific servers to all servers. Moreover, the amount of original data in each server can be arbitrarily determined based on the performance of corresponding servers. We have implemented a prototype of Galloper codes on Apache Hadoop, and our experimental results have shown that Galloper codes can reduce the completion time of MapReduce jobs by up to 42.9%, with a comparable performance as existing locally repairable codes, in terms of disk I/O overhead, as well as encoding and reconstruction overhead.

Wireless sensor networks existing in the data storage methods exist to some extent, fixed and stored in hot storage node problem, the performance there are still large room for improvement. This paper proposes a threshold based on an integrated data storage method, the threshold to the consolidated dispatching node, shut down redundant nodes, the nodes are scheduled to enter the work state and the other nodes into the suspended state. Scheduling mechanism through which not only balance the network load, to eliminate storage hot issues, but also work to reduce the number of nodes, to save energy and prolong network lifetime.

In this paper, we propose Cstorage a fully distributed and efficient data storage scheme for wireless sensor networks (WSNs) based on compressive sensing (CS) techniques. Cstorage requires much smaller number of transmissions compared to the existing algorithms by exploiting the compressibility of the natural signals along with the broadcast property of wireless channels. In Cstorage, after a probabilistic readings dissemination phase, each node obtains one compressed sample (measurement) of the network's readings, which are later queried in part by a data collector to recover all readings. We find the optimal parameters of Cstorage and show that it considerably decreases the total number of required transmissions for distributed data storage.

Due to the high maintenance cost of traditional online auction system, poor load balance ability and down problems occurring in the peak value of system access, this paper aims to propose a solution to transit from traditional online auction system to cloud computing to get higher work efficiency, lower expenditure and less energy cost. The GAE platform is used to deploy application of the overall framework of online auction system in cloud computing, including development environment as well as online auction system components, and software architecture. The online auction negotiation algorithms in cloud computing are also proposed. Based on these key technologies, the business processes of the online auction system in cloud computing is designed, including users' login system, starting an auction, bidding processes, online auction data storage, and logout system. The online auction system constructed on GAE platform with cloud computing resources and storage ability can reduce the pressure of terminal equipment, which is more robust than traditional online auction system facing users' changeable needs in the process of online auction.

For effectively utilization of acquired resources in Autonomous Vehicle (AV), big data analysis in real time will be a reliable way to produce valuable information from sensor data. With the combined ability of telematics and real-time analysis, big data analytics forming the key drivers of autonomous cars. To emphasize the significant of data fusion or knowledge discovery, an efficient architecture has been proposed for real-time big data analysis in an autonomous vehicle, which indeed will keep pace with the latest trends and development with respect to emerging big data paradigm. The proposed architecture comprises distributed data storage mechanism for a streaming process for real-time analysis and the vehicular cloud server tool for batch processing the offline data. Furthermore, a workflow model has also been designed for big data architecture to examine streaming data in near real time process. Furthermore, an algorithm is developed for data classification in distributed storage unit, and mathematical modeling is carried to analysis the data classification functionality in AV. The proposed system model using Hadoop framework which is for the optimal utilization of the massive data set, meant for data classification in distributed environment for streaming data in real time, which is intended for intelligent transportation of the autonomous vehicle.
