The behavior of dynamic code can depend on the logic of the dynamic code generator in subtle and nonobvious ways, e.g., JIT compiler bugs can lead to exploitable vulnerabilities in the resulting JIT-compiled code. Existing approaches to program analysis do not provide adequate support for reasoning about such behavioral relationships. This paper takes a first step in addressing this problem by describing a program representation and a new notion of dependency that allows us to reason about dependency and information flow relationships between the dynamic code generator and the generated dynamic code. Experimental results show that analyses based on these concepts are able to capture properties of dynamic code that cannot be identified using traditional program analyses.

Screen-camera communication is a new information communication method based on visible ***,such communication mechanism relies on barcodes to transmit information which suffers a limited capacity and a low communication ***,we proposed a color multiplexed dynamic QR code communication system based on mobile *** this method can further improve the communication rates over the *** our system,a selfdefined frame structure has been designed for a better reliability and diversity in the *** experiment results indicated that in the traditional dynamic QR code transmission mechanism,the real-time communication rate is 150 Kbit/s and the non-real-time communication rate is 300 Kbit/***,under the proposed color multiplexed dynamic QR code communication system,the real-time communication rate can reach 320 Kbit/s and the non-real-time communication rate can reach 900 Kbit/*** multiple experimental tests,it can transfer text,picture and audio files with no error.

To combat dynamically loaded code in anti-emulated environments, DLCDroid is an Android app analysis framework. DL-CDroid uses the reflection API to effectively identify information leaks due to dynamically loaded code within malicious apps, incorporating static and dynamic analysis techniques. The dynamically Loaded code (DLC) technique employs Java features to allow Android apps to dynamically expand their functionality at runtime. Unfortunately, malicious app developers often exploit DLC techniques to transform seemingly benign apps into malware once installed on real devices. Even the most sophisticated static analysis tools struggle to detect data breaches caused by DLC. Our analysis demonstrates that conventional tools areill-equipped to handle DLC. DLCDroid leverages dynamic code interposition techniques for API hooking to expose concealed malicious behavior without requiring modifications to the Android framework. DLCDroid can unveil suspicious behavior that remains hidden when relying solely on static analysis. We evaluate DLCDroid's performance using a dataset comprising real-world benign and malware apps from reputed repositories like VirusShare and the Google Play Store. Compared to state-of-the-art approaches, the results indicate a significant improvement in detecting sensitive information leaks, more than 95.6% caused by reflection API. Furthermore, we enhance DLCDroid's functionality by integrating it with an event-based trigger solution, making the framework more scalable and fully automated in its analysis process.

Arithmetic is a cornerstone of scientifically and technologically advanced human culture, but its neuronal mechanisms are poorly understood. Calculating with numbers requires temporary maintenance and manipulation of numerical information according to arithmetic rules. We explored the brain mechanisms involved in simple arithmetic operations by recording single-neuron activity from the medial temporal lobe of human subjects performing additions and subtractions. We found abstract and notation-independent codes for addition and subtraction in neuronal populations. The neuronal codes of arithmetic in different brain areas differed drastically. Decoders applied to time-resolved recordings demonstrate a static code in hippocampus based on persistently rule-selective neurons, in contrast to a dynamic code in parahippocampal cortex originating from neurons carrying rapidly changing rule information. The implementation of abstract arithmetic codes suggests different cognitive functions for medial temporal lobe regions in arithmetic.

Event-specific and persistent representations for contextual states in orbitofrontal neurons

Flexible and context -dependent behaviors require animals, including humans, to identify their current contextual state for proper rules to apply, especially when information that defines these states is partially observable. Depending on behavioral needs, contextual states usually persist for prolonged periods and across other events, including sensory stimuli, actions, and rewards, highlighting prominent challenges of holding a reliable state representation. The orbitofrontal cortex (OFC) is crucial in behaviors requiring the identification of the current context (e.g., reversal learning);however, how single units in the OFC accomplish this function has not been assessed. Do they maintain such information persistently, in separate populations from those responding phasically to events within a task, or is contextual information dynamic and embedded in these phasic responses? Here, we investigated this question by recording single units from OFC in rats performing a task that required them to identify the current contextual state related to estimated proximity to future reward with distracting olfactory cues. We found that while some OFC neurons encode contextual states, most change their selectivity upon the transition of task events. Nevertheless, despite dynamic activities in single neurons, the neural populations maintain persistent representations regarding current contextual states within particular neural subspaces.

Many widely-deployed modern programming systems use just-in-time (JIT) compilers to improve performance. The size and complexity of JIT-based systems, combined with the dynamic nature of JIT-compiler optimizations, make it challenging to locate and fix JIT compiler bugs quickly. At the same time, JIT compiler bugs can result in exploitable security vulnerabilities, making rapid bug localization important. Existing work on automated bug localization focuses on static code, i.e., code that is not generated at runtime, and so cannot handle bugs in JIT compilers that generate incorrect code during optimization. This paper describes an approach to automated bug localization in JIT compilers, down to the level of distinct optimization phases, starting with a single initial Proof-of-Concept (PoC) input that demonstrates the bug. Experiments using a prototype implementation of our ideas on Google's V8 JavaScript interpreter and TurboFan JIT compiler demonstrates that it can successfully identify buggy optimization phases.

The Chinese Experimental Fast Reactor (CEFR) is a 65MWt/20MWe sodium cooled fast reactor. It is a pool-type reactor where the reactor and other internals such as pumps and intermediate heat exchangers (IHX) are immersed in a sodium pool. In this paper a one-dimensional dynamic code was developed to model the primary sodium circuit which included the reactor core, IHX, pumps, hot and cold pool etc. Moreover, the model of the property of sodium flow and heat transfer correlations was collected and compiled. This paper also discusses the mathematical models of various components of the primary sodium circuit, the numerical techniques to solve the models, the thermal-hydraulic studies of some design basis events such as the loss of primary pump or secondary pump accident etc, the comparison of the results of the code with that of the safety analysis report. Studies were conducted simulating both full and low power operating conditions. The dynamic code has been validated, and the results show that it has a benign response to some typical accidents. Finally, the model and code derived in this paper could be used in the safety analysis of pool-type sodium cooled fast reactor, and adopted in the development of CEFR simulation platform.
