It is a common disease of abnormal early pregnancy in obstetrics and gynecology. Inside them, abortion and hydatidiform mole are two common types, which seriously threaten the life safety of pregnant women. To evaluate the diagnostic value of transvaginal ultrasound and serum-HCG in hydatidiform mole and missed abortion. This article introduces the application of transvaginal ultrasound in disease diagnosis. An edge detection algorithm based on multiplicative gradient was proposed: normal pregnant women and abnormal pregnant women were selected as the research objects. According to the pathological examination results of abnormal pregnancy, all pregnant women were divided into two groups: hydatidiform mole group and abortion group. The level of serum beta-HCG was measured and its diagnostic value was analyzed. Transvaginal ultrasound combined with serum beta-hcg confirmed the diagnosis of beta-HCG.

Laser induced fluorescence with 2-D Hilbert transform edge detection algorithm and 3D fluorescence images for white spot early recognition

Objective: There is a must for non-invasive caries detection method to supplement traditional visual assessment by the clinician before lesion progression reaches a stage requiring invasive therapy. Material and methods: In this paper, the nature of tissue response to light interaction has been used for early diagnosis, using laser induced fluorescence spectroscopy. Human tooth sample was illuminated with He-Ne laser sources (633 nm) with energy 5 mW. The reflected and emitted spectra of investigated samples were collected using hyperspectral camera to develop multispectral images. The variation of reflected and emitted energy as function in wavelengthwas employed to generate characteristic spectrumof each tooth tissue. Human teeth caries lesion releases their excess energy by emitting fluorescence light producing chemical footprint signature for each tooth elements and caries state. Results: This non-invasive, non-contact, and non-ionizing hyperspectral imaging system was employed to diagnose and classify different caries types and stages. Reconstructed 3D fluorescence images offered discrimination between enamel and dentin caries at 633 nm illumination spectral line;white spot lesion was clearly detected and recognized at far visible and infrared wavelength ranges. Conclusion: This study reports on customized optical imaging system that can offer high sensitivity, high resolution. Optimumstimulatingwavelength for early caries detection was reported to be 633 nm. This novel approach can offer a full map of caries degree status. (c) 2020 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.

With the rapid advancements in information technology and communication technology, the utilization of moving image visual communication has become widespread across various domains. In this context, optical sensing technology plays a pivotal role due to its remarkable attributes including high speed, vast capacity, and minimal delay. Thus, this research aims to enhance the optical sensing effect and edge detection accuracy in moving image visual communication by leveraging AI recognition and an optical sensing image edge detection algorithm. For this purpose, an AI recognition algorithm is implemented to train the model to identify the objects present in the moving images, enabling the localization of target objects within the optical sensing images. Consequently, the edge information of the target object is extracted from the photosensing image by employing an edge detection algorithm. Subsequently, the edge information of the optical sensing image undergoes processing and optimization to enhance the accuracy of edge detection. Through experimental results, it is demonstrated that the proposed approach, which integrates AI recognition and an optical sensor image edge detection algorithm, effectively identifies and localizes target objects within the optical sensor image, consequently improving the accuracy of edge detection outcomes. Furthermore, in comparison to conventional methods, the proposed methodology exhibits superior performance in optical image edge detection.

With the enhancement of health awareness, the use of advanced sensing technology and network technology to accurately monitor human movement is not only conducive to personal health management, but also has a wide range of application prospects in medical rehabilitation, sports training and other aspects. This study aims to explore the application of edge detection algorithm based on infrared sensor and wireless network technology in human motion monitoring. By improving the sensitivity and reliability of the monitoring system, the real-time and accurate monitoring of human movement is realized. Infrared sensor is used to obtain the original data of human movement, and edge detection algorithm is used to process the data. In order to realize efficient data transmission and processing, wireless network technology is combined to realize remote data transmission and real-time monitoring. The system is tested in different motion scenarios. The experimental results show that the edge detection algorithm based on infrared sensor and wireless network technology can capture human motion data efficiently and accurately. It is proved that the edge detection algorithm combined with infrared sensor and wireless network technology is effective in human motion monitoring. The system has the advantages of high precision, low delay and real-time, and can be widely used in health monitoring, sports training and rehabilitation treatment.

Nowadays one of the most used algorithm for the image processing systems is the edge detection algorithm, starting from the identification systems in different domains to the complex systems direct from industry. With more different approaches this algorithm is today necessary in priority areas and his performance of time processing, quality differ in each case. In the backside of the algorithm there are a lot of mathematical calculus that influence the speed and the accuracy of the results. This article highlights some methods that compose this algorithm and propose some ideas and some tests over the possibility of distributed calculus that influences his performance. In this study it is proposed a set of analysis over the results over more tests and case scenarios that show them main problems in the calculus part. Also a parallel implementation that can offer a better perspective of this algorithm is proposed. Starting with this point over the edge detection of the algorithm, in this paper it is revealed also a good utilization in another different domain for this algorithm.

With the aim of obtaining the precise position of workpiece, it is necessary to detect the base hole during the automated manufacturing process of robotic drilling systems. In this paper, a detection method based on the line laser is presented to detect the base hole of large aviation parts in manufacturing and assembly. The 3-D point cloud data processing plays an important role during the detection process with a line laser. To extract the point cloud data effectively, an edge detection algorithm which includes a gradient-based edge extraction algorithm and an edge parameterization method is proposed. Then, the correlation analysis of the proposed algorithm is conducted. Finally, an industrial case is presented to illustrate the applicability and effectiveness of the proposed edge detection algorithm. The effects of varying the scan line spacing of the line laser are studied so as to meet the practical need of engineering application. The results indicate that the edge detection algorithm is applicable to the robotic drilling system, and it is reasonable and practicable to use the elliptic curve to parameterize the hole's edge. Traditional methods of the edge detection can't completely extract the low frequency image edge. It is easy for them to discard some important information in the high frequency sub-images. If there is much noise in the image, these methods can not entirely eliminate the noise. We will get the poor image edge because of the noise. In order to solve these problems, we respectively analyze the theories of the mathematical morphology algorithm and the directional wavelet transform. We propose an improved edge detection algorithm based on the mathematical morphology algorithm and the directional wavelet transform. We firstly use the binary mathematical morphology to de-noise and detect the edge of the low frequency sub-image in the wavelet domain. Then we de-noise the high frequency sub-image in horizontal, vertical and diagonal directions. We adopt the Canny operator to detect the edge of the high frequency image. The low frequency edge image and the high frequency edge image can be respectively got by the above algorithms. Finally we can get a complete and continuous edge by using some fusion rules. The results show that the improved edge detection algorithm can well suppress the noise interference. It also can get a more continuous and complete edge image comparing to other methods.

Recently, the interest in construction equipment simulation has increased, and thus the necessity for rapid generation of 3D BIM construction equipment library for virtual space simulation at a low cost has also been raised. However, utilizing the existing BIM equipment libraries is inefficient as they are costly and require manual model making. As a solution, this paper suggests a framework for generating 3D construction equipment library based on the images of equipment elements using edge detection. Furthermore, we examined the practicality of the method for automatic 3D model generation that we present. The framework suggested in this study is expected to improve the productivity of the construction industry by enhancing the efficiency of sharing status information and facilitating the equipment interferences review within a virtual environment. © 2023 IEEE.

In this paper,threshold function denoising algorithm and wavelet neural network edge detection algorithm are combined to apply to image edge ***,an improved threshold function is constructed in this paper,compared with the traditional soft and hard threshold functions and some existing improved threshold functions,the improved threshold function is adjustable and differentiable *** approximates the soft threshold function and the image at the threshold point is *** can retain more true information and have an obvious effect in image ***,this paper presents wavelet neural network edge detection *** the modulation Gaussian function wavelet as its excitation function,which is applied to extract the edge of the image after threshold ***,a new edge detection algorithm is proposed,which combines threshold function de-noising algorithm and wavelet neural network edge detection *** simulation results show that the edges detected by the new algorithm are clearer,contain less noise,and the continuity and accuracy are also improved.
