This demonstration designs a novel Range-based Positioning TestBed (RPTB) for WSN. Considering the heterogeneity of sensor nodes in WSN, RPTB supports multiple ranging parameter inputs. Most critically, RPTB establishes a positioning model that makes full use of the ranging parameters between blind nodes, and swarm intelligence algorithms is used to solve the model. Based on RPTB, the operator could obtain the high-precision positioning results directly according to the ranging parameters or evaluate the original dataset in combination with the real location.

Special underwater robots play an important role in military strategy and marine energy exploitation. Aiming at the complex underwater environment and the influence of uncertain factors, the research on path tracking technology of special underwater robots have great difficulties and challenges. The traditional active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) method is particularly suitable for the uncertain state. But the parameters of the ADRC are not well optimized, it is difficult to obtain the ideal tracking control effect when it performs path tracking. This paper focuses on the optimization characteristics of the enhanced fireworks algorithm (EFWA) and applies it to the control parameter optimization of ADRC. Taking the special underwater robot fish as the research object, the error model of path tracking is established, and its parameters of the traditional ADRC controller are optimized by the enhanced fireworks algorithm in this paper. So, its forward and steer controller of robot fish is controlled in this paper. The results of simulation show that special underwater robots based on the novel EFWA-ADRC has strong robustness and high path tracking accuracy in the path tracking process.

A parallelized numerical method based on fireworks algorithm (FWA) has been developed to solve the Inverse Heat Transfer Problem. The Heat Transfer Coefficient functions obtained on the surfaces of an axisymmetric workpiece as a function of time are estimated by applying the novel technique. The objective function to be minimized by the FWA approach is defined by the deviation of a virtually acquired and the calculated temperatures. Numerical results have been demonstrated in 3 case studies.

In this paper, natured inspired firework algorithm is used to update the coefficients of adaptive Volterra filter based ANC systems without identification of secondary path modeling. The concept of mean squared error sense is used to develop the cost function. Firework algorithm based ANC systems having sinusoidal noise signal, random noise signal and complex random noise signal while taking primary and secondary paths as linear/nonlinear. Observations based on Statistics validated the worth of stochastic solvers FWA by means of accuracy, complexity analysis and convergence. The results of the proposed algorithm is compared with the backtracking search algorithm (BSA) and particle swarm optimization (PSO).

A relay satellite is an important type of artificial earth satellite. Using a relay satellite to obtain data or upload instructions to other satellites can make satellite systems work more efficiently. This paper studies the large-scale relay satellite scheduling problem (LSRSSP) and establishes a mathematical model to describe this problem. We combine a dynamic population adjustment strategy with the firework algorithm (FWA-DP) and vary the population size to improve the algorithm's search performance. Through a large number of experiments, it can be seen that the proposed algorithm solves the LSRSSP problem well and can be applied to an actual relay satellite scheduling system.
