Target positioning is difficult in indoor environment where Global Positioning System (GPS) always fails to locate for lack of signals. Therefore indoor localization system based on the Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) attracted considerable attention due to the growing need for Location Based Service (LBS). Both Ultra-Wideband (UWB) and Bluetooth are widely applied in indoor localization. However, the applicability of them is limited for their high price or poor accuracy. In order to improve the positioning accuracy, stability and cost reduction, a combined indoor localization scheme and a fusion algorithm using characteristics of two positioning methods are proposed. Bayesian Inference and geometry relationships are applied to get the objective function and constrain, and Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) is employed to obtain the estimated position. Simulation results show that the new algorithm can improve the positioning accuracy and reduce the economic price compared with the traditional Least Square (LS) positioning algorithm based on distance.

According to the characteristics of a medical image, this paper presents a multimodality medical image fusion algorithm based on wavelet transform. For the low-frequency coefficients of the medical image, the fusion algorithm adopts the fusion rule of pixel absolute value maximization;for the high-frequency coefficients, the fusion algorithm uses the fusion rule that combines the regional information entropy contrast degree selection with the weighted averaging method. Then the fusion algorithm obtains the fused medical image with inverse wavelet transform. We select two groups of CT/MRI images and PET/ MRI images to simulate our fusion algorithm and compare its simulation results with the commonly-used wavelet transform fusion algorithm. The simulation results show that our fusion algorithm cannot only preserve more information on a source medical image but also greatly enhance the characteristic and brightness information of a fused medical image, thus being an effective and feasible medical image fusion algorithm.

Method Firstly, the images are preprocessed by gray scale, neighborhood filtering and median filtering. Then, the edges were superimposed by Canny and,Sobel operators. Finally, the visible components were obtained by expansion etch and hole filling. Results The fusion algorithm could be used for edge detection of tangible components with uniformity inconsistencies. Conclusion The effect of the fusion algorithm on the outer edge was signifacantly better than that of single algorithm.

With limited dynamic range, images acquired by ordinary image sensors can not cover all information of the given scenario. In order to acquire a high dynamic range picture which contains both light parts and dark parts, this article presents one method improving dynamic range of images from given scenes by using double exposure. The principle of this algorithm goes as follows: one scene is confronted with two exposures by the same sensor, then image data got from exposure will be used for image fusion to enlarge the dynamic range. As to over-exposure and under-exposure in images, the algorithm enhances the contrast between them and displays both of them. This algorithm can work in a fast speed within 23 ms to fuse two 512*512 images, and can work in high dynamic range circumstances, which means it can adjust essential values according to different scenes to achieve a better fusion.

The essence of SOF is that objects are extracted through alternating processes of updating and merging until convergence. Such concurrent updating creates a self-organizing fusion behavior that facilitates identification of regions comprising the same object. The method is computationally efficient as both updating and merging are conducted in parallel fashion, and since parameters selection is done for local regions, it is able to deal with fairly complex images.

In this paper, a non-destructive testing( NDT) method is used to detect the parameters of free bolt. In the current research field, aiming at the problem of robot path planning, this study proposes an optimization strategy combining RRT algorithm and APF method. This strategy aims to achieve more efficient and reliable robot path planning by improving the path search efficiency of RRT algorithm and combining the goal-oriented and obstacle-avoiding capability of APF. Specifically, we optimize the RRT algorithm as follows: First, we introduce an APF-based heuristic strategy, which helps guide the path search process closer to the target point faster;Secondly, in the process of path generation, the APF method is used to smooth the path in real time to reduce the complexity of the path and the energy consumption during execution. After extensive testing in simulation environments, the optimization strategy shows significant improvements in path length, planning time, and obstacle avoidance. Compared with the traditional RRT algorithm, the new strategy not only reduces the path length, but also shows stronger adaptive ability and robustness in the face of complex environment and sudden obstacles. In addition, through the path smoothing process guided by APF, the dynamic response and stability of the robot when executing the path are also improved.

The evolution of vehicles has led to the need for improved and advanced techniques to solve traffic related problems. The improvement related to cooperative vehicles has been a recent focus in dealing with such difficulties. The most popular application of co-operative vehicles is the route planning for travelers. In this paper, an innovative module namely Localized Route Recommendation with fusion algorithm (LR2FA) is proposed to enumerate a localized route recommendation system to communicate to co-operative vehicles. Traffic parameters such as vehicle speed and density information collected from the centralized location and used as decision factor to provide suggestions of routes using a novel fusion algorithm (FA). To evaluate the factors for route suggestion, FA uses a combination of genetic and heuristic-based approaches. The performance of the proposed localized route references is analyzed using simulated values of vehicle speed and density. It is seen from the results that the proposed LR2FA provides top fitting routes compared to greedy based route suggestion.
