In order to solve the problem that the following-speed performance of upright vehicle is not strong caused by the conflict between the speed control and the vertical control, the control method of upright vehicle is presented based on fuzzy PI. In the design process of fuzzy PI controller, firstly, the system status of upright vehicle under different working conditions is analyzed. Secondly, the setting principle of fuzzy PI control parameters making the system to get the best response performance is made. Finally, the software simulation of the upright vehicle adopting the fuzzy PI controller and the real vehicle test are implemented respectively. The results of simulation and test show that the upright vehicle can achieve good speed following performance based on fuzzy algorithm, and the stability and robustness of the system is guaranteed.

In this paper, a method of solving inverse kinematics based on fuzzy algorithm for hybrid boarding system is presented. This approach could actively compensate the ocean wave disturbances when the hybrid mechanism is conducting a certain task, such as, transporting the repairmen into wind turbine platform. By deriving the Jacobian matrix of the hybrid mechanism, the relationship between the angular and linear velocities of variables in joint space and gangway's end-effector in task-space can be obtained. Thereafter, the numerical integral method is used to obtain the inverse kinematic solution. Structurally, the hybrid mechanism consists of a 6-DOFs Stewart parallel platform and a 3-DOFs gangway. Due to the kinematical redundant of the hybrid boarding system, its inverse kinematic solutions are not unique. So a fuzzy strategy is put forward to plan the variable values reasonably. Moreover, it can satisfy the requirement of variable constraints. When conducting ocean wave compensation, specifically, the Stewart parallel platform is used to compensate the wave disturbance in roll direction. Moreover, it is efficient to compensate other disturbances by adjusting the joint angles of gangway. The effectiveness and the robustness of the proposed method is demonstrated using numerical simulation when the wave disturbance is added into the hybrid boarding system.

Combined with the simple flow control method and low discharge energy of all vanadium battery energy storage system, this paper proposes a flow control method based on fuzzy algorithm to improve the energy efficiency of all vanadium flow battery energy storage system. fuzzy controller which is applicable to the system is designed, charging and discharging power, SOC, frequency of the inverter are fuzzy modeling and optimal flow control strategy is produced by fuzzication, reasoning machine and defuzzification. The experiments show that flow control method based on fuzzy algorithm can effectively control the flow and improve discharge energy of all vanadium battery energy storage system.

At present, electrical energy becomes more and more important, and the shortage of electrical energy becomes serious. In order to develop power efficiency and alleviate the problem, people have planned the methods of load identification. This paper is on the basis of many different kinds of methods, and used K-means classification and fuzzy algorithm. This kind of method also needs to store the templates in database in advanced, and compare the features of samples which are extracted from the experiment with templates. Then it utilizes K-means classification to classify and uses fuzzy algorithm to calculate the closeness degree of every cluster. The industrial environment is very complex. E.g. the number of load types, states, some interference factors etc. This method we proposed can handle large amount of data and has another key of advantage. It is the capability to identify major industrial loads accurately. The results are presented in this paper. All in all, industrial load identification needs to be consummated.

A common UAV(Unmanned Aerial Vehicle)'s collision avoidance module was introduced in this paper to handle the flight safety of the UAV. Some ultrasonic sensors were used to collect the obstacle's distance and direction information in real time. The fuzzy algorithm was used to plan a new obstacle avoidance path based on the information. By taking over the control right of the flight controller and sending it the new movement commands, the module would allow the UAV to finish the obstacle avoidance task. During the process, any modification on the original codes of the flight controller was not needed. The MATLAB simulations and experiments verified the effectiveness of the common UAV's collision avoidance module.

This paper introduces an evading obstacles method of mobile robot which is in an uncertain environment, and the mobile robot can evade the obstacles detected by means of fuzzy control algorithm, which adopts fuzzy membership function with real physical content. In this method, all obstacles detected are considered as mobile obstacles, according to the information of mobile robot and obstacles, such as position, velocity and moving direction, a membership function with real physical content can be constructed, so this method can correctly evade the static and mobile obstacles. And the emulation experiments show that this method is valid and practicable.

A quadrotor is needed by geologists to do surveillance and monitoring in several disaster-prone areas. Therefore, quadrotors which are able to perform autonomous hovering in order to move from one location to another are required. Based on the problem, This paper presents the trajectory and altitude control for autonomous hovering of quadrotor by using fuzzy logic controller. This algorithm is applied to the altitude control that serves to control the quadrotor to hover at a specific position. It is also applied on the trajectory control so that the quadrotor will be able to move to x and y trajectories. The proposed algorithm shows that quadrotor can quickly hover at a predetermined height taking rise time in 1.5 second and settling time at 1.9 second. Furthermore, the quadrotor is able to move from the initial position to the next position with the rise time in 1.4 second and settling time at 2 second.

Multi-model approach for remote sensing data processing and interpretation is described. The problem of satellite data utilization in multi-modeling approach for socio-ecological risks assessment is formally defined. Observation, measurement and modeling data utilization method in the framework of multi-model approach is described. Methodology and models of risk assessment in framework of decision support approach are defined and described. Method of water quality assessment using satellite observation data is described. Method is based on analysis of spectral reflectance of aquifers. Spectral signatures of freshwater bodies and offshores are analyzed. Correlations between spectral reflectance, pollutions and selected water quality parameters are analyzed and quantified. Data of MODIS, MISR, AIRS and Landsat sensors received in 2002-2014 have been utilized verified by in-field spectrometry and lab measurements. fuzzy logic based approach for decision support in field of water quality degradation risk is discussed. Decision on water quality category is making based on fuzzy algorithm using limited set of uncertain parameters. Data from satellite observations, field measurements and modeling is utilizing in the framework of the approach proposed. It is shown that this algorithm allows estimate water quality degradation rate and pollution risks. Problems of construction of spatial and temporal distribution of calculated parameters, as well as a problem of data regularization are discussed. Using proposed approach, maps of surface water pollution risk from point and diffuse sources are calculated and discussed.
