This paper proposes a scheme for reducing error propagation (REP) based on low-cost anchor node-based distributed localization (LADL) that are advanced localization schemes using connectivity information between nodes. Even though the localization accuracy of LADL is higher than that of previous schemes (e.g., DRLS), estimation error can be propagated when anchor node ratio is low. Thus after the initial position of each normal node is estimated by LADL. estimated position is corrected using anchor nodes located several hops away so that error propagation is reduced. The simulation results show that LADL with REP has higher localization accuracy and lower message transmission cost than DRLS. In addition, even though message transmission cost is increased, the localization accuracy of LADL with REP is higher than that of DRLS.

Wireless Sensor Networks (WSN) can be used in many application fields. The localization of sensor nodes, which is the foundation of the other applications, is to determine self-position using a certain localization scheme, according to the anchor nodes. In this paper, a thorough analysis for approximate point-in-triangulation test (APIT) algorithm is made, and an improvement of it is proposed. The analysis shows: compared with the original one, the improvement algorithm reduces the probabilities of In-To-Out Error and Out-To-In Error from the original one and the more perfectly theory has been appeared.

At present, most of the electromagnetic interference (EMI) test systems describe radiation with a spectrogram of a single point. This paper proposed a grid scan algorithm to help system give a colourfitl spatial distribution of spectrum. On the LabWindows/CVI platform, an EMI detecting system, combined with near-field probes, spectrum analyzer, USB-GPIB, USB-DAQ and pc, is integrated. Using the VISA (Virtual Instrumentation Software Architecture), the system accomplished the instrument control. NI-DAQmx and related corrections help system realize the data acquisition. The experimental results show that the system can give a fine spectrogram of a high accuracy, and a spatial distribution graph which can reflect the radiation vividly. It is proved that the system has a practical and popularization value, especially in the EMI detection of act equipment.
