The paper is devoted to the problem of creation and development of effective and perspective control means and methods for correction of voltage and current level and harmonic spectrum by means of active and hybrid correction systems. The main types and topologies of active and hybrid correction systems on the base of active and passive filters are presented and analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of the main existing theories and methods of harmonic detection and compensation are presented and analyzed. The universal control algorithm and control system structure for active and hybrid correction systems are proposed. The proposed control system structure and algorithm are based on existing theories of harmonic compensation and power decomposition, current physical components, and p-q theory. The efficiency of proposed algorithm and control system is proved by results of mathematic modeling and computer simulation.

Encryption and decryption method of three-dimensional objects uses holograms computer-generated and suggests encoding stage. Information obtained amplitude and phase of a three-dimensional object using mathematically stage transforms overlap stored on a digital computer. Different three-dimensional images restore and develop the system for the expansion of the three-dimensional scenes and camera movement parameters. This article talks about these kinds of digital image processing algorithms as the reconstruction of three-dimensional model of the scene. In the present state, many such algorithms need to be improved in this paper proposing one of the options to improve the accuracy of such reconstruction.

A Rule Based Evolutionary Optimization Approach for the Traveling Salesman Problem

The traveling salesman problem has long been regarded as a challenging application for existing optimization methods as well as a benchmark application for the development of new optimization methods. As with many existing algorithms, a traditional genetic algorithm will have limited success with this problem class, particularly as the problem size increases. A rule based genetic algorithm is proposed and demonstrated on sets of traveling salesman problems of increasing size. The solution character as well as the solution efficiency is compared against a simulated annealing technique as well as a standard genetic algorithm. The rule based genetic algorithm is shown to provide superior performance for all problem sizes considered. Furthermore, a post optimal analysis provides insight into which rules were successfully applied during the solution process which allows for rule modification to further enhance performance.

Real-time retrieval of submicron aerosol size distributions from multi-wavelength spectral extinction measurements

The real-time retrieval of submicron aerosol size distributions is of major interest for applications. Based on the Mie theory,the spectral extinction method offers a simple measurement principle and a convenient optical arrangement. In contrast to the relative simplicity of the experimental measurement the retrieval of the particles size distribution and particle concentration from the spectral extinction method is difficult. Mie scattering Equation is a Fredholm Integral Equation of the First Kind. This paper develops a hybrid iterative model-dependent algorithm for on-line particle sizing from extinction spectra which is both computationally efficient and accurate. Applying the refined Mie diagnostic iterative procedures within some candidate solutions can identify the unique result accurately and rapidly enough for real time measurement. With the addition of added Gaussian noise,an average tolerance up to 5% of noise level is kept for particle size from submicron to micrometer under moderate polydispersity.

Aiming at the problems that fuzzy neural network controller has heavy computation and lag,a T-S norm Fuzzy Neural Network Control based on hybrid learning algorithm was *** genetic algorithm (IGA) was used to optimize the parameters of membership functions (MFs) off line,and the neural network was used to adjust the parameters of MFs on line to enhance the response of the ***,the latter network was used to adjust the fuzzy rules automatically to reduce the computation of the neural network and improve the robustness and adaptability of the controller,so that the controller can work well ever when the underwater vehicle works in hostile ocean ***,experiments were carried on " XX" mini autonomous underwater vehicle (min-AUV) in *** results showed that this controller has great improvement in response and overshoot,compared with the traditional controllers.

Traveling Salesman Problem Using an Enhanced hybrid Swarm Optimization algorithm

The traveling salesman problem( TSP) is a well-known combinatorial optimization problem as well as an NP-complete problem. A dynamic multi-swarm particle swarm optimization and ant colony optimization( DMPSO-ACO) was presented for *** DMPSO-ACO combined the exploration capabilities of the dynamic multi-swarm particle swarm optimizer( DMPSO) and the stochastic exploitation of the ant colony optimization( ACO) for solving the traveling salesman problem. In the proposed hybrid algorithm,firstly,the dynamic swarms,rapidity of the PSO was used to obtain a series of sub-optimal solutions through certain iterative times for adjusting the initial allocation of pheromone in ACO. Secondly,the positive feedback and high accuracy of the ACO were employed to solving whole problem. Finally,to verify the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed hybrid algorithm,various scale benchmark problems were tested to demonstrate the potential of the proposed DMPSO-ACO algorithm. The results show that DMPSO-ACO is better in the search precision,convergence property and has strong ability to escape from the local sub-optima when compared with several other peer algorithms.

Study and Design of hybrid Triplet Lens

This study presents a new method for designing algorithm for a triplet lens with one or two elements that are made of a gradient index medium (GRIN). This method is based upon considering a well-known designed triplet lens (Cooke triplet lens) as a target lens for designing of the hybrid Triplet Lens (HTL). Our design was based upon keeping the total optical path length for the axial ray fixed for each case of design. The results showed that several designs for the HTL have the same total powers of the target lens. These designs depend on the variation of the GRIN element parameter values and the order of the GRIN element position in the system. These HTL designs have been evaluated by considering several optical merit functions, i.e., the root mean square (RMS) spot radius, wave front error and the spherical aberration. To achieve the optimal design, these functions are compared for the target lens and the HTL designs through a wide range of field angles.

A novel algorithm and a way of controlling the rotor position in hybrid magnetic bearings based on the pattern of the external magnetic field is presented. A mathematical apparatus for the practical implementation of the proposed control method and algorithm is developed, and computer simulation using Ansys and Maxwell is carried out. Results of experimental verification of theoretical conclusions are presented.

This paper introduces hybrid LU-QR algorithms for solving dense linear systems of the form Ax = b. Throughout a matrix factorization, these algorithms dynamically alternate LU with local pivoting and QR elimination steps, based upon some robustness criterion. LU elimination steps can be very efficiently parallelized, and are twice as cheap in terms of operations, as QR steps. However, LU steps are not necessarily stable, while QR steps are always stable. The hybrid algorithms execute a QR step when a robustness criterion detects some risk for instability, and they execute an LU step otherwise. Ideally, the choice between LU and QR steps must have a small computational overhead and must provide a satisfactory level of stability with as few QR steps as possible. In this paper, we introduce several robustness criteria and we establish upper bounds on the growth factor of the norm of the updated matrix incurred by each of these criteria. In addition, we describe the implementation of the hybrid algorithms through an extension of the PaRSEC software to allow for dynamic choices during execution. Finally, we analyze both stability and performance results compared to state-of-the-art linear solvers on parallel distributed multicore platforms.
