This paper proposes a control strategy for single-phase off-grid inverter, which integrates the three closed-loop control with the iterative-based RMS algorithm. The inverter circuit is modeled, and simulation experiment and prototype verification are performed on Matlab. The results show that the voltage drop problem caused by an abrupt variation of inverter load is improved greatly owing to the addition of voltage RMS loop. Meanwhile, the application of iterative method enhances the dynamic response performance of the system substantially;and improves the real-timeliness of three closed-loop control. The two complement each other to provide a highly effective, reliable control solution for the single-phase off-grid inverter.

Mobile technology has led to more and more app-based ride-sourcing platforms on the market. This paper analyzes the pricing strategies of ride-sourcing platforms by economic model and numerical experiment. We propose an overall model which includes demand, labor supply, and the matching function between demand and supply. The model explicitly considers the interaction between labor supply and driver income, while modeling the market as a system of nonlinear equations. We prove the existence of market equilibrium through the fixed point theorem, and propose an approximate iterative algorithm to obtain the equilibrium. Finally, we use numerical experiments to study the impact of pricing strategies on the ride-sourcing market.

Based on the funding project "a concrete-filled steel tube truss type half-through arch bridge (CFSTTTHAB) with the span of 220 m," in view of the difference of tension between one pair of suspenders, this paper proposed an improved influence matrix method for the tension of a single suspender, which was developed from a conventional influence matrix. A method for adjusting suspender tension at the completed state of construction by using numerical simulation and iterative algorithm was also presented. Finite element numerical model was used to calculate the influence matrix of a single suspender. Moreover, an iterative algorithm was used to solve the adjustment value of suspender tension. Based on the proposed method, by processing several iterations, the difference between the measured and designed suspender tension would be controlled within 6% in the projects of suspender tension adjustment. Finally, the comparison between the measured and designed suspender tension at the completed state of construction proved the feasibility and accuracy satisfaction of the proposed method for engineering requirement.

The distribution of power frequency electric field caused by super-high level power transmission engineering is an important issue in evaluation of electromagnetic environment problem. The calculation of this field around power transmission facilities in complex environment using Charge Simulation Method (CSM) is sometimes out of action for the reason of not enough RAM. This paper put forward a domain decomposition CSM. This method divided the calculation region into several subdomains with some overlapped parts at the border first. Then CSM is applied to these subdomains respectively to get the distribution of simulation charges. The impact of the adjacent domain (boundary problem) is solved by using iterative method. Finally, the distribution of electric field in different domains can be calculated respectively with simulation charges obtained inside its own domain. This method is verified and it is applied to the analysis of power frequency electric field around 500kV transformers in 500kV substation. The results indicate that this method can speed up the calculation and decrease the requirement of RAM. This method provides an effective way to analyze the distribution of power frequency electric field with complex environment.

A number of models for generating statistical data in various fields of insurance, including life insurance, pensions, and general insurance have been considered. It is shown that the insurance statistics data, as a rule, are truncated and censored, and often multivariate. We propose a non-parametric estimation of the distribution function for multivariate truncated-censored data in the form of a quasi-empirical distribution and a simple iterative algorithm for its construction. To check the accuracy of the proposed evaluation of the distribution function for truncated-censored data, simulation studies have been conducted, which showed its high efficiency. The proposed estimates have been tested for many years by the IAAC Group of Companies in the actuarial valuation of corporate social liabilities according to IAS 19 Employee Benefits. Apart from insurance, some results of the work can be used, for example in medicine, biology, demography, mathematical theory of reliability, etc.

Free-space measurement using continuous wave (CW) system is carried out. Numerical iterative algorithm is employed to extract permittivity from complex scattering parameters. Due to scarcity of related previous studies beyond 100 GHz, the discussions on parameters that may affect the results are also described in detail. The calculated permittivity based on the proposed method highly correlates with the analytical values.

In this paper, we propose a statistics-based iterative algorithm to perform a direct reconstruction of material-decomposed images. Compared with the conventional sinogram-based decomposition method which has degraded performance in low-dose scenarios, the multi-energy alternating minimization algorithm for photon counting CT (MEAM-PCCT) can generate accurate material-decomposed image with much smaller biases.

This paper concentrates on the target localization problem in a distributed multiple-input multiple-output radar system using the bistatic range (BR) measurements. By linearizing the BR measurements and considering the relationship between the nuisance parameter and the target position, a constrained weighted least squares (CWLS) problem is formulated, which is an indefinite quadratically constrained quadratic programming problem. Since the constraint is non-convex, it is a nontrivial task to find the global solution. For this purpose, an improved Newton's method is applied to the CWLS problem to estimate the target position. Numerical simulations are included to examine the algorithm's performance and corroborate the theoretical developments.

This paper develops an integrated production-delivery lot sizing model in which a manufacturer supplies a product a retailer. The manufacturer produces the product at a finite rate and the production rate is assumed to be smaller than market demand rate. Meanwhile, we assume that the lead time demand is stochastic and that shortages are permitted. The lead time and the reorder point are in this model as decision variables. The objective is to determine the optimal ordering quantity, reorder point, lead time and the delivery number during each production cycle which minimize the expected total cost per unit time of the manufacturer and the retailer by giving an effective iterative algorithm. Multidimensional system identification problems can be encountered in many important fields, such as big data, machine learning, and source separation. Nevertheless, a large parameter space usually raises additional challenges in terms of system identification. In this context, there is a huge interest in exploiting the methods based on tensor decompositions and modelling. Recently, we focused on bilinear forms (i.e., two-dimensional decomposition), in the framework of identifying spatiotemporal models. Following this approach, we developed several solutions based on the Wiener filter and different adaptive algorithms. In this paper, in order to further exploit the decomposition of the global impulse response, we propose an iterative Wiener filter tailored for the identification of trilinear forms (where third-order tensors are involved). Simulation results indicate the good performance of the proposed solution, as compared to the conventional Wiener approach.
