In this article, we propose a load balancing algorithm that accelerates ray tracing effectively and simply manner. The algorithm was developed in a hybrid system consisting of a CPU and hardware dedicated to ray tracing. Tree-building is processed on the CPU, and rendering is executed by the ray tracing-dedicated hardware. Because these components operate independently of each other, the final performance in terms of frames per second (FPS) is determined based on the time spent on tree-building or rendering, whichever process takes longer. This characteristic of a hybrid system is reflected in the developed algorithm, which dynamically adjusts tree-build parameters at every frame, thereby minimizing the interval between tree-building and rendering times. These effects ultimately increase FPS performance. Experiments at a resolution of 1920 x 080 involving various dynamic scenes indicated that FPS performance improved by an average of 75.3% when the proposed algorithm was used.

load balancing for big data information transmission in power systems is a key issue to improve data transmission efficiency and system performance. In this paper, a load balancing algorithm for power big data information transmission based on dynamic feedback mechanism is proposed. The algorithm realizes load balancing by monitoring the load of each node in the system in real time and dynamically adjusting it according to the node load. Through the dynamic feedback mechanism, the path and load distribution of data transmission can be adjusted in real time to improve transmission efficiency and system performance. Experimental results show that the algorithm has a better load balancing effect in electric power big data transmission, and can effectively improve the data transmission efficiency and system performance.

load balancing is a crucial factor in IPTV delivery networks. load balancing aims at utilizing the resources efficiently, maximizing the throughput, and minimizing the request rejection rate. The peer-service area is the recent architecture for IPTV delivery networks that overcomes the flaws of the previous architectures. However, it still suffers from the load imbalance problem. This paper investigates the load imbalance problem, and tries to augment the peer-service area architecture to overcome this problem. To achieve the load balancing over the proposed architecture, we suggest a new load-balancing algorithm that considers both the expected and the current load of both contents and servers. The proposed load-balancing algorithm consists of two stages. The first stage is the contents replication according to their expected load, while the second stage is the content-aware request distribution. To test the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm, we have compared it with both the traditional Round Robin algorithm and Cho algorithm. The experimental results depict that the proposed algorithm outperforms the two other algorithms in terms of load balance, throughput, and request rejection rate.

An enhanced AHP-TOPSIS-based load balancing algorithm for switch migration in software-defined networks

Considering a software defined network, distributed controller architecture uses multiple controllers in which each controller manages a part of the network. The load imbalance problem in this architecture causes a large number of switch migrations resulting in a significant increase in switch migration cost and average network response time along with a decrease in throughput. Although recent studies have addressed these issues, access to optimal response time had been achieved with high cost of switch migration and sometimes with reduction of throughput using their methods. Therefore, the load balance in the present study is managed by a variable threshold based on the controllers' workload. In other words, migration is done by selecting optimal switch and controller so that the switch will be selected with the lowest traffic generation rate which could return the source controller to its steady state. Using the suggested method, a destination controller is selected based on some important parameters such as CPU utilization, rate of incoming packets and the number of hops between switch and controller. The TOPSIS (Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution) algorithm is used to select the best controller based on the above-mentioned criteria and the AHP (analytic hierarchy process) algorithm is employed for determining the ratio of each criterion. The proposed method considerably outperforms other methods by achieving about 6 and 78% improvement in throughput and the number of switch migration in our implementation, respectively.

Due to the rapid development of multimedia technology, more and more image data are produced, so new technologies are needed to process these huge image data sets. As an effective method to understand and manage images, wireless sensor image classification is becoming a research hotspot. To improve the classification of image views, this article integrates the load balancing algorithm into the image scene classification algorithm. From this, the main work of this article is as follows: the traditional background-based celebrity detection algorithm cannot accurately select the background starting point, which leads to the celebrity detection result for the problem of insufficient accuracy, a celebrity detection algorithm based on background images is proposed. Based on this algorithm, an algorithm for detecting visible salient is proposed. The algorithm first performs weighted median filter preprocessing, SLIC superpixel segmentation and Canny edge detection on the image, then uses the path algorithm with the least energy loss to find more accurate seed points belonging to the ground, and finally builds on a lower starting point. At this point, the flow classification algorithm is used to obtain the prosperity map of the image. Experimental results show that the algorithm can improve the integrity and accuracy of the celebrity detection area. Then this article studies sports dance, mainly using literature methods and other research methods, through studying the principles and methods of sports biomechanics, discusses the mechanics principles in sports dance and its application value and research trends in dance. In this paper, through the research of wireless sensor image classification and application in sports biomechanics, the development of sports biology is more rapid.

Due(1) to the large number, the length and the processing time of cloud tasks, the cloud task scheduling is unbalanced and it has the problem that the cloud computing service response will be delayed and inefficient in the cloud computing environment. This paper mainly studies the bee colony load balancing algorithm(BCLB) and establishes the mathematical model of the bee colony load balancing algorithm. The mathematical model of the Bee colony balancing algorithm is established and applied in cloud computing. It designs the algorithm implementation process and cloud task scheduling scheme. Finally, through the simulation in the CloudSim, the application of bee colony load balancing algorithm is realized in cloud computing, the experiments show that the BCLB algorithm has greater advantages than random algorithms and greedy load balancing algorithm.

Currently implemented Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) cannot meet the requirement of load balancing due to its poor bandwidth utilization and lack of multiple path capability. In this paper we propose a load balancing algorithm based on multiple instances spanning tree protocol (MSTP) in dynamic network after a link load function was defined. In MSTP, VLAN is divided into many group, each group would share a process of spanning tree protocol algorithm to communicate with each other by using different spanning tree topology in different VLAN. In order to realize the load balancing and redundancy backup in dynamic network, we should control the monitored relationship between the VLAN and the MSTP. With this algorithm traffic between two communication nodes can be spread among multiple paths. The traffic split each path can be dynamic adjusted. In addition, the multiple instances spanning tree with the minimum link load can be chosen for monitoring by using this algorithm to achieve load balancing. And finally, the simulations show that the load balancing is efficient in dynamic network.

Nowadays maintaining the load is the most challenging issue for a researcher in a cloud environment. In the IT field, Cloud computing area is a tremendous technology and its usage of computing resources that provided various services over the internet and its charges is based on usage of resources on the cloud. It provides many services to the users which are productive, reliable and low cost. So, nowadays the users of cloud computing are increasing because every organization, government, and education department are moving toward the use of cloud services. Therefore, when many user requests for cloud resources arrive, we can use load balancing technique to fulfill the need of users. load balancing process is useful to adjust the load on a node (virtual machine) using distributing the load on another underloaded node. The main objective of load balancing is to make the virtual machine balanced which should be not underloaded or overloaded. In this paper, we have proposed a load balancing algorithm by combining two algorithms for balancing the workload over the cloud system. We have used modified honey bee behavior inspired algorithm for priority based tasks and enhanced weighted round-robin algorithm used for non-priority based tasks. The importance of our research work is to improve system performance, better resource utilization and minimum completion time.

For fine-grain microservices, queue-waiting-time is defined as load index of a server for the first time. However, as internet traffic is bursty, queue-waiting-time is not merely calculated by adding up the normal service time of queued requests due to resource contention. Moreover, normal service time changes over time especially for database-driven web applications. Therefore, an adaptive load balancing algorithm is required. This paper focuses on load balancing algorithms under differentiated requests and heterogeneous servers. In order to solve the tuning problem in load balancing, an online learning algorithm of time weight (OLTW) is designed, which can learn the time-weight of request adaptively. Based on OLTW, a shortest queue-waiting-time load balancing algorithm (SQLB) is then proposed, in this algorithm, an incoming request is dispatched to the server with shortest queue-waiting-time. The experimental results show that 80% prediction values of OLTW have relative error of less than 25%, and SQLB outperforms the classical load balancing algorithms in terms of throughput, mean response time and deadline drop rate.

Overlay solutions of SDN-based networks became very popular. Controller as a centralized management devices gather information about network topology and current network state. Overlay network have a lot benefits however the using of classical traffic engineering principles for traffic management in Software-Defined Network is becoming problem. The physical network does not automatically adapt to the changes. As the overlay-based networks grow and requires more resources. The management mechanism - network load balancing algorithm - that take into account centralized structure and heterogeneous traffic nature of Software-Defined Network is proposed in the paper.
