This paper is concerned with the exponential stabilization problem for a class of distributed parameter systems (DPSs) described by a parabolic partial differential equation (PDE) with mobileactuators and sensors. Initially, the mobile guidance for each actuator/sensorpair is proposed based on the system performance requirement and the well-posed analysis of the DPS is given via the operator semigroup theory. Then, by utilizing Lyapunov direct method, the output feedback controllers are developed to exponentially stabilize the DPS with mobileactuators/sensors, whose existence condition is provided in terms of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). Finally, numerical simulations are presented to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed design method.
