This paper presents a multi-objective optimization model for the planning of oilfield output. In China, an oilfield has several oil production plants, and the oil output of each oil production plant can be divided into four major categories: natural output, measure output, oil output of new oil wells in old blocks and oil output of new oil wells in new blocks. The complex oil output composition in the presence of central planning decisions is investigated and it is shown that such situation can best be captured by a hierarchical model. At first, the correlative relationship between each subentry oil output and its influencing factors is established by RBF (Radial Basis Function) neural network. Then Based on the correlative relationship, a multi-objective bilevel model is proposed where the oilfield is the top planner with two conflict goals of maximizing the total output and minimizing the total cost, and the oil production plants are a series of parallel bottom planners with the similar goals as the oilfield's. Further, an algorithm based on GA is designed to solve the model. In the end, an oil output planning problem of an oilfield in China is given, successfully solved, and the computational results are presented.

At present, most of the researches on bilevel programming problems are focused on single objective cases. This paper discusses a bilevel programming problem with upper level multiobjective optimization. In order to solve the problem efficiently, we present a genetic algorithm using interpolation. This method does not require solving lower optimization problem frequently. In the proposed algorithm, firstly, the interpolation functions are adopted to approximate lower level solution functions. As a result, the original problem can be approximated by a single-level multiobjective programming. In addition, the corresponding interpolation functions are updated such that these functions can approximate the lower level solution function very well. Finally, the multiobjective programming is solved for obtaining an optimal solution set of the original problem. The simulation on two examples indicates the proposed algorithm is effective and feasible.
