Architectural Considerations of Distributed computer Control systems

A generalized concept of parallelism in computer architecture is summarized and adopted as a common thread linking different categories of multiple-computer systems. Resource replication, time-overlapping and resource sharing are three ways in which parallelism may be realized. From the architectural point of view, a distributed computer control system is considered as the combination of these three forms of parallelism with its hierarchical system structure analyzed in different partitions. Several useful architectures with this property are proposed.
