Metal nanoparticles are used to catalyze chemical reactions. Among them, noble metal nanoparticle catalysts need to be used in small quantities. Some reports reveal catalytic activity is further improved by controlling nanoparticle arrangement and distribution. Much research has been directed toward the formation of one-dimensional arrays by compositing metal nanoparticles with template materials. However, previously reported methods form arrays that lack linearity or suitable interparticle distances, which is ascribable to array crossover and particle aggregation, in addition their fabrication procedures are expensive and not suitable for large-scale practical use. Here we show that one-dimensional arrays of platinum nanoparticles (PtNPs) were formed by using electrospun polyurethane nanofibers as a template. PtNPs adsorbed on each polyurethane nanofiber form a one-dimensional array over longer distances. The catalytic H2O2 decomposition performance of the prepared one-dimensional PtNP arrays was 45.6% decomposition in 15 min, which revealed a decomposition rate more than twice that obtained using the same number of PtNPs randomly distributed on the template or dispersed in a liquid. Although this method is a very simple method for one-dimensional arrangement of metal nanoparticles, thereby improving catalytic efficiency per metal nanoparticle, which help to reduce the amount of metal nanoparticles used during catalysis and contributes the cost of catalysis products cost.

This paper introduces an algorithm that applies multi-speed information weighting to the spatial power matrix of signals. Based on the radar data cube, a velocity information weighting matrix and a target signal power matrix are constructed. By performing a point-wise subtraction between the elements of these two matrices and subsequently applying a threshold filtering, a motion target signal power matrix is derived, enabling the identification and separation of moving and stationary targets.

Face-centered cubic packing is typically observed for pristine C60 in the solid state, and one-dimensional alignment structures of pristine C60 in the solid state are extremely rare. This study presents the synthesis of novel one-dimensional aligned C60 in single-cocrystal nanosheets, formed from C60 and N,N,N ',N '-tetraphe- nylbenzidine (TPB). In C60/TPB, which exhibits ambipolar charge transport characteristics, TPB serves as a molecular receptor to facilitate the formation of noncovalent networks wherein C60 organizes into onedimensional arrays. The resulting C60/TPB nanosheets give rise to a distinct absorption band in the near- infrared region, suggesting the occurrence of charge-transfer interactions between the C60 and TPB frameworks within the cocrystals.

In this article, a millimeter-wave beamforming reflectarray antenna with a U-shaped parasitic wideband patch element employed in a 1×10 configuration as the one-dimensional feed source is proposed. The one-dimensional phase-controlled feed source can generate ±50° beam scanning along the H-plane direction, while covering a wide impedance bandwidth range of 70-85 GHz. The size of the array based on the outer square inner ring reflection structure is 65.6mm × 131.2mm, which is used to compensate for the spatial wave path difference of the feed with a focal length of 33mm. By using a single-layer planar reflection structure, the spherical wave on the E-plane is converted to plane wave, while ensuring that the phase compensation on the H-plane remains unchanged to further increase the spatial beam gain. An optimization design was conducted on a one-dimensional planar reflector array, and the results indicate that this array can achieve wide scanning angle of ±40°in the horizontal plane (H-plane), with a maximum gain of 23.l dBi. © 2023 IEEE.

The number density and the arrangement of metal nanoparticles in composite materials have a significant effect on their performance and hence their suitability for use in sensors and devices. Forming one-dimensional arrays of metal nanoparticles is one way of controlling their number density and arrangement in the devices. In this study, we fabricated one-dimensional arrays of gold nanoparticles by adsorbing them on linearly distributed hard segments present on the surfaces of segmented polyurethane nanofibers, which were produced by electrospinning under a stretching force. The length of the one-dimensional array was approximately 500 nm. Furthermore, the interparticle distance was almost constant at approximately 14 nm. Thus, the proposed method is suitable for fabricating one-dimensional arrays of metal nanoparticles with high precision.

Repressing the hampers of poor electrical conductivity and pulverization is central for the applications of metal oxides anode materials, yet remains big challenge. To meet the target, pie-like graphene paper@Fe3O4 nanorod arrays@carbon film is designed and fabricated as high-performance integrated electrode for lithium ion batteries. Graphene paper is selected as binder-free integrated substrate, which could accelerate, electron transfer, buffer volume changes of Fe3O4, contribute to additional capacity, and endow the electrode with flexibility. The carbon film serves as the package to prevent the dissolution of Fe3O4 into the electrolyte, extending the cyclic life of the integrated electrode. The architecture of Fe3O4 nanorod array offers void space for volume buffer and fluid electrolyte infiltration. Based on the combined structural advantages, the present pie-like electrode with interior array architecture therefore exhibits excellent electrochemical lithium storage properties, especially large, stable, and durable cyclic performance at high current density (852 mA g(-1) after 1000 cycles at 2 A g(-1)), making it a promising candidate as high-performance flexible electrode. Performance enhancement of modified turbo codes with two-stage interleavers

Low complexity modified turbo codes (MTC) offer bit error rate performance close to Shannon's limit with significantly reduced decoding complexity. However, since interleavers used in turbo codes interleave bit positions in one-dimensional (1D) array, they cannot be used for MTC which encode information bits arranged in 2D array. Moreover, MTC use several interleavers which increase the memory requirement to store permutation patterns. Objective of this study is to design two-stage interleaver for MTC with low memory requirement, large values of column spreading factor and dispersion in the interleaved pattern. Expressions have been derived for limits on maximum values of spreading factor and dispersion for 2D information array. Simulation results show superior performance of MTC with two-stage interleavers than that with random interleavers at high bit energy to noise ratio. Moreover, analysis shows that two-stage interleaver requires 50% less memory storage than random interleaver. Proposed interleaver can also be used for turbo codes in which 1D information array is being used.

Luminescent and structural properties of a Eu(III) complex: Formation of a one-dimensional array bridged by 2,2-bipyrimidine

The previously reported monometallic Eu(III) complex Eu(hfa)(3)bpm, where hfa= 1,1,1,5,5,5-hexafluoroacetylacetonate and bpni = 2,2'-bipyrimidine, shows characteristic emissions in the visible region associated with the 5D(0) -> 7F(J) (J = 0-4) transitions of the Eu(Ill) center. Lifetime measurements are fit to a mono-exponential and are inversely related to temperature. Crystals grown from slow diffusion of hexanes into an ethyl acetate solution of the complex yield an unusual one-dimensional array in which each Eu(III) complex is connected to another through bpm bridging units. On the basis of the quick sorting algorithm of one-dimensional array, the quick sorting algorithm of Matrix was provided. It is not recursion. Theoretical analysis and the results from a large number of experiments dealing with data showed that the average calculation time of the algorithm was O(nlog(2)n), and generally the required stack space was also O(log(2)n),which was an effective and reliable quick sorting algorithm.

Single-electron turnstile locked to charge solitons in a one-dimensional array of small junctions

We present numerical results on the current mirror effect in a single-electron turnstile capacitively coupled with a one-dimensional (ID) array of small tunnel junctions. Contrary to conventional operation with a sinusoidal signal source, the single-electron turnstile is driven by charge solitons (and anti-solitons) transferred through the ID Arran. Then, the Current through the turnstile can be locked to the current through the ID array;this is the current mirror effect, We numerically demonstrate the current mirror effect in our circuit, where a 4-junction turnstile and a 20-junction 1D array are coupled at their middle nodes via a coupling capacitor. We introduce a coupling parameter, Q(c) to define the strength of Coupling, between the ID array and the turnstile. We also introduce a current mirror index, CMI, to evaluate the quality of the Current mirror effect. The dependence of CMI upon the soliton length, the current through the ID array, and Q(c) is discussed.
