Hydraulic accumulator type braking energy regeneration system have the advantages of high power density, low cost and reliable property, which is suitable for the traditional engine driving bus. The variable displacement hydraulic pump/motor is used the braking energy recovery system as regeneration conversion device, its structure parameters affected braking energy recovery rate and regeneration rate. In this paper, the system composition and was designed, the influencing factors for braking energy recycle rate and regeneration rate was analyzed, a method of parameters optimization for variable displacement pump/motor was putted forward, the parameters of variable displacement pump/motor and its transmission were optimized, and that were equipped on Zhongtong LCK6850CHDD type bus. The results of road travel test showed that the method cum: improve fuel economic character, braking energy recovery rate and recycling rate.

A pilot-scale anaerobic-anoxic-oxic (A(2)O) bioreactor with 125 m(3).d(-1) capacity was tested for treating real low strength municipal wastewater. The results showed that when the hydraulic retention time (HRT) was 9.6 h, the sludge retention time(SRT) was 15 d, the sludge recycling ratio (SRR) and mixed liquor recycling ratio (MLRR) were 0.5 and 1.5 respectively, the effluent could meet the first A order (China GB18918-2002). It was suggested that the operational state could be well known according to the changes of DO & ORP on-line sensors.

Kernel fuzzy K-means (KFKM) clustering algorithm is widely used to manage the fingerprint database for WiFi indoor positioning system to reduce the computational complexity of the position matching process. In this paper, we propose a novel WiFi positioning scheme based on KFKM algorithm, which can achieve a better precision by further optimizing the parameters employed in KFKM. Our proposed scheme consists of three steps. First, we choose an interval of reference points (RP) to build the fingerprint database. Then we decide an appropriate number of clusters based on the structure characteristics of fingerprint database using sample density method. During the process of clustering, we optimize the kernel parameter by approximating actual kernel matrix to a hypothetical ideal kernel matrix to improve the positioning precision. Through simulation results, we show that compared with the existing KFKM algorithm, our proposed scheme achieves 23.48% improvement in terms of positioning accuracy.

A novel Immune Particle Swarm optimization (IPSO) for parameters optimization of Support Vector Regression (SVR) is proposed in this article. After introduced clonal copy and mutation process of Immune Algorithm (IA), the particle of PSO is considered as antibodies. Therefore, evaluated the fitness of particles by the Leave-One-Out Cross-Validation (LOOCV) standard, the best individual mutated particle for each cloned group will be selected to compose the next generation to get better parameters of SVR. It can construct high accuracy and generalization performance regression model rapidly by optimizing the combination of three SVR parameters at the same time. Under the datasets generated from sinx function with additive noise and spectra dataset, simulation results show that the new method can determine the parameters of SVR quickly and the gotten models have superior learning accuracy and generalization performance.

The grating eddy current displacement sensor (GECDS) for distance or position measurement used in watertight electronic calipers was described. The sensor relies on repetitive variation of inductance against displacement caused by the change of coupling areas between moving coils and static reflectors. The investigations focused on setting up and utilizing a computer model of the 3D eddy current fields and geometry to analyze causes of the production of measurement blind areas, and to investigate effects of the sensor parameters, such as axial gap between coils and reflectors, reflector length and reflector width on characteristics of the sensor. Simulation results indicated that the sensor has the smallest nonlinearity error of 0.15%, which agrees well with the experimental results.

Electro-Fenton with peroxi-coagulation as a feasible pre-treatment for high-strength refractory coke plant wastewater: parameters optimization, removal behavior and kinetics analysis

Electro-Fenton (EF) with peroxi-coagulation (PC) as an emerging electro-chemical advanced oxidation method has been extensively applied to treat refractory wastewater. However, the studies on the pretreatment of the raw coke plant wastewater by EF process were still lacking. In this study, a lab-scale EF system (Fe as anode and graphite as cathode) achieved the highest COD removal of 69.2% based on the preliminary experiments. The process parameters and corresponding COD removal performance were further optimized using response surface methodology (RSM) combined with Box-Behnken experimental design (BBD). The optimal conditions were obtained as: 3.2 mA cm(-2) of current density, 2 h of the reaction time and 2.6 of the initial pH value, with the COD removal reaching 70.0%. Fourier infrared (FTIR), fluorescence excitation-emmission matrix (EEM) and gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS) also revealed the degradation behaviors of dissolved organic matters (DOMs) by characterizing their structures and compositions before and after EF pretreatment, thus greatly improving the biodegradability of the wastewater. Moreover, the EF process for COD removal well followed third-order kinetics model. These findings give helpful guidance to design, optimize and control the EF process as a favourable pretreatment for actual refractory coking wastewater in practice. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd. In the present work,pulsed gas–liquid hybrid discharge plasma coupled with graphene/Cd S catalyst was evaluated to eliminate bisphenol A(BPA)in *** optimization of a series of process parameters was performed in terms of BPA degradation *** experimental results demonstrated that nearly 90%of BPA(20 mg l^(-1))in the synthetic wastewater(p H=7.5,σ=10μS m^(-1))was degraded by the plasma catalytic system over 0.2 g l^(-1)graphene/Cd S at 19k V with a 4 l min^(-1)air flow rate and 10 mm electrode gap within 60 *** BPA removal rate increased with increasing the discharge voltage and decreasing the initial BPA concentration or solution ***,either too high or too low an air flow rate,electrode gap,catalyst dosage or initial solution p H would lead to a decrease in BPA ***,optical emission spectroscopy was used to gain information on short-lived reactive species formed from the pulsed gas–liquid hybrid discharge plasma *** results indicated the existence of several highly oxidative free radicals such as·O and·***,the activation pathway of O_(3)on the catalyst surface was analyzed by density functional theory.

Modeling network intrusion detection system using feature selection and parameters optimization

Previous approaches for modeling Intrusion Detection System (IDS) have been on twofold: improving detection model(s) in terms of (i) feature selection of audit data through wrapper and filter methods and (ii) parameters optimization of detection model design, based on classification, clustering algorithms, etc. In this paper, we present three approaches to model IDS in the context of feature selection and parameters optimization: First, we present Fusion of Genetic Algorithm (GA) and Support Vector Machines (SVM) (FuGAS), which employs combinations of GA and SVM through genetic operation and it is capable of building an optimal detection model with only selected important features and optimal parameters value. Second, we present Correlation-based Hybrid Feature Selection (CoHyFS), which utilizes a filter method in conjunction of GA for feature selection in order to reduce long training time. Third, we present Simultaneous Intrinsic Model Identification (SIMI), which adopts Random Forest (RF) and shows better intrusion detection rates and feature selection results, along with no additional computational overheads. We show the experimental results and analysis of three approaches on KDD 1999 intrusion detection datasets.

Multi harmonic spindle speed variation for milling chatter suppression and parameters optimization

As one of the most common obstacles in milling process, regenerative chatter will result in lessened productivity, poorer product surface finish and decreased cutting life of the tool. In order to suppress chatter, the spindle speed variation (SSV) has been proposed and researched for a long time. However, the previous researches mainly focus on the basic waveform variation, such as sine, cosine, square and triangular waveforms and didn't consider the effect of phase on milling stability, which weren't suitable to the complex and high spindle speed milling conditions. Based on the previous studies, this paper proposes the concept of multi harmonic spindle speed variation (MHSSV) including the phase factor for chatter suppression. The dynamic equations with MHSSV are derived to describe the milling process. Due to the existence of the milling period and the speed variation period, the least common multiple of these two periods is adopted as the Floquet period in semi-discretization method (SDM) for stability analysis. Because the speed variation function can be described by some finite parameters, the genetic algorithm is used to optimize these parameters in order to suppress chatter more effectively. As a result, the optimized milling process has higher stability limits, especially in the high speed zone, which validates the effectiveness of the multi harmonic spindle speed variation. In addition, the numerical simulation of milling process is implemented and verifies the correctness of the proposed method.

Research on parameters optimization of High Voltage Circuit Breaker Nozzle Based on Image Recognition and Deep Learning

Traditional modeling and optimization methods for high voltage equipment, specially, circuit breaker components and nozzles, require manual testing and improvement of a large number of parameters, and the efficiency is relatively low. The strong processing power of artificial intelligence technology in the identification and prediction of complex systems is an effective solution in such case. This paper presents the optimization approach of image recognition combined with deep learning for circuit breaker nozzle. The nozzle model was conducted using the high Mach flow model in a commercial software (COMSOL Multiphysics 5.4) to study the gas flow state and behavior during cold flow, and obtains Shock wave image recognition model of the nozzle chamber based on the convolutional neural network (CNN) method of multiscale layered features. On the basis of effective image recognition, combined with deep learning Convolutional Recurrent Neural Network (CRNN), the image sequence under different parameters is sent to the convolutional layer for feature extraction, and then the feature map is input into the loop. The prediction sequence is obtained through the layer, and finally the relationship between the kinematic parameters of the nozzle and the internal gas flow state is predicted through the prediction layer. Results indicated, according to the prediction of CRNN, the range of the throat length should be between 7 and 13 mm and the angle should be between 8 similar to 15 degrees.
