Let m(1), m(2),..., m(t) be a fixed set of natural integers given in ascending order. A multi-delimiter code Dm(1),..., m(t) consists of t words of the form 1(mi)0 and all other binary words with suffixes having one of the forms 01(mi)0 that cannot occur in other places of a word, i = 1,..., t. Completeness, universality, and density characteristics of multi-delimitercodes are proved. Encoding of integers by multi-delimitercodes is considered in detail. For these codes, fast byte aligned decoding algorithms are also discussed. The comparison of compression rate and decoding speed of Fibonacci codes, (s, c)-dense codes and different multi-delimiter codes is presented. By many useful properties, multi-delimiter codes are superior to Fibonacci codes.

A path planning method based on improved Framed-Quadtree is researched for mobile robot in this paper. Firstly, this paper analyzes drawbacks of the quadtree method and according to those, proposes the method which uses the framed-quadtree to model the search space. This method avoids the condition which is difficult to find the shortest path sometimes. Secondly, the storage structure of the framed-quadtree is improved by using pattern code method. Therefore, it saves the original storage space, improves the environment resolution and reduces the search time. Finally, the optimal path is found by using A* algorithm. The experimental results prove the correctness and validity of the method.

It is an effectual approach for Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) to save energy and prolong network life time. Existing Reliable Spatial Window Aggregation (RESA) query processing algorithm proposed to reduce packet loss rate during data communication and balance the load of nodes. The main problem in existing system is the single node act as the cluster head at every transmission so it takes more energy than the sensor nodes and the duplicate data can be stored at the cluster head. In order to address this problem, a pattern Based Aggregation using query processing algorithm called PBA is proposed. PBA only requires each node to maintain location of its neighbours. According to the information it divides the query area into several sub regions followed by collection of sensor readings in each sub region. It is proposed to reduce the transmission of duplicate data during communication. An Oscilloscope measurement technique is proposed to measure the energy level of the sensor node.

Selecting a cluster head (CH) in wireless mobile sensor network is a crucial task. Numerous algorithms have been presented for this purpose in recent literature. In these algorithms, all nodes are permitted to contend in CH selection process regardless of their less resource. This meaningless participation of ineligible nodes in the CH selection process causes unnecessary communication cost. Similarly the use of real data for CH selection increases communication cost. Additionally, no one algorithm has focus in security aspect of CH selection process. In this article pattern Based secure CH Selection algorithm has been presented. This algorithm filters the ineligible nodes, puts them to sleep mode thereby restricting them from not participating in the CH selection process. Additionally the uses of pattern instead of real data in CH selection decrease communication cost and increase security of CH selection process. The simulation results show the improvement in lifetime and enhancement in security of CH selection.
