Real-time polarization medium-wave infrared(MIR)optical imaging systems enable the acquisition of infrared and polarization information for a *** present,real-time polarization MIR devices face the following problems:poor real-time performance,low transmission and high requirements for fabrication and ***,we aim to improve the performance of real-time polarization imaging systems in the MIR waveband and solve the above-mentioned ***,we propose a MIR polarization imaging system to achieve real-time polarization-modulated imaging with high transmission as well as improved performance based on a pixel-wise metasurface micro-polarization array(PMMPA).The PMMPA element comprises several linear polarization(LP)filters with different polarization *** optimization results demonstrate that the transmittance of the center field of view for the LP filters is up to 77%at a wavelength of4.0μm and an extinction ratio of 88 d *** addition,a near-diffraction-limited real-time MIR imaging optical system is designed with a field of view of 5°and an F-number of *** simulation results show that an MIR polarization imaging system with excellent real-time performance and high transmission is achieved by using the optimized PMMPA ***,the method is compatible with the available optical system design technologies and provides a way to realize real-time polarization imaging in MIR wavebands.

A new joint method is presented to estimate the 2-D DOA and polarization parameters of far-field sources based on four order cumulant. The method adopts L array, and every sensor consists of orthogonal dipole-pairs with the same coordinate axis direction, which measure the x-axis and y-axis electric-field components of the far-field signals. The method constructs four four-order cumulant matrixes by receiving polarized array data and does not require any spectral peak search and parameter pairing, can be applied to additive Gaussian white noise or color noise environment. The performance of the proposed method is verified by computer simulations.

A Static Polarizing Atmospheric Michelson Interferometer (SPAMI) system for multiple emission lines is reviewed. It changes the Optical Path Difference (OPD) by polarization array (PA) at one time, instead of rotating the polarizer by four times in traditional polarizing Michelson interferometer. This allows the NPAMI system to make simultaneous measurements. PA is a key element cemented by four polarizers with different polarization orientations in the SPAMI system. In practice, assembly error is brought to the polarization array unexpected. It is proved that the temperature and wind velocity measurements are highly depended on the polarization orientations of polarizers in PA. In this paper, the effect of deflection of polarization orientation on temperature and wind velocity are analyzed and discussed. Moreover, a proper approach is proposed to improve the accuracy of alignment.

Multi-resolution ESPRIT is an extension of the ESPRIT direction finding algorithm to antenna arrays with multiple baselines. A short (half wavelength) baseline is necessary to avoid aliasing, and a long baseline is preferred for accuracy. The MR-ESPRIT algorithm allows the combination of both estimates. The ratio of the longest baseline to the shortest one is a measure of the gain in accuracy. Because of various factors, including noise, signal bandwidth, and measurement error, the achievable gain in accuracy is bounded. We show how this can be used to construct a joint frequency-angle-polarization estimator.
