Based on the trend and upsurge of digital popularization in rural areas, this paper realizes a set of digital reading small programs with deep learning recommendation algorithm. The user can directly use the mobile terminal device to enter the system through the small program [1], and can conduct digital reading anytime and anywhere. The platform can recommend the books that the user is interested in through the deep learning algorithm. This paper first analyzes the development status of digital reading in rural areas, compares the existing paper reading platforms, analyzes the reasons why it is difficult to promote paper reading in rural areas, and believes that small programs have the characteristics of ready-to-use and large flow. The characteristics of the system are very suitable for the service needs of digital reading promotion. Therefore, the system client adopts wechat applet architecture for development, and designs the basic structure, functional modules and UI interaction interface of the system. On the basis of analysis and design, the database uses the cloud to develop the database, and uses the storage table and cache mechanism to avoid frequent read and write operations to the database. In the back-end, read the books that users often read and search for, perform deep learning algorithms, and output the recommended information in the book library. Users can read books and understand the reading activities around through the system, and can easily accumulate and store knowledge on the mobile phone. In an era when mobile phones occupy most of people's fragmented time, the digital reading platform enables users to do more meaningful things with mobile phones.
