Vehicles are becoming smart by their equipments with sensors and actuators. The equipment would report the detected malfunction status or monitored faulty part to the driver, and it should report that to a sort of a traffic control center as the defective car might require a professional support. It is preferable to transmit the collected data after reducing the amount data. In this work, an abbreviation method is proposed to preserve the substitutes of data probably significant. The abbreviation reduces the amount of data to be transmitted and stored, by abbreviating the data into substitutes remained useful to the calculations in detecting malfunction status or monitoring faulty part.

This paper proposes a network middleware for sensor data integration in the environment where multiple sensors are distributed all over a room. The sensor data integration is realized by dynamic connections between the programs for sensordata collecting and processing on the middleware. The connections are based on a uniform program interface and search mechanism utilizing sensor sera vice descriptors. The middleware enable to reduce dependency on sensors and home environment. It also enables to decide relations between the programs flexibly Construction of a simple monitoring application for an occupant in our experimental environment Sensing Room confirms the feasibility of the network middleware.

With the advances of technologies in RFID, sensors, GPS, GPRS, IP networks and wireless networks, monitoring asset on move is becoming feasible. In this paper, we develop a trusted system for tracking asset on the move based on an integrated service network. Challenges and requirements for tracking asset on the move are discussed. An RFID based sensor data integration is proposed with integrated service network for reliable information access and delivery. We illustrate the feasibility of this system via food delivery tracking. Approach evaluation is presented to help understand the approachs uniqueness.

Augmented Reality (AR) is acclaimed for its potential to bridge the physical and virtual worlds. Yet, current integration between these realms often lacks a deep understanding of the physical environment and the subsequent scene generation that reflects this understanding. This research introduces sensor2Scene, a novel system framework designed to enhance user interactions with sensordata through AR. At its core, an AI agent leverages large language models (LLMs) to decode subtle information from sensordata, constructing detailed scene descriptions for visualization. To enable these scenes to be rendered in AR, we decompose the scene creation process into tasks of text-to-3D model generation and spatial composition, allowing new AR scenes to be sketched from the descriptions. We evaluated our framework using an LLM evaluator based on five metrics on various datasets to examine the correlation between sensor readings and corresponding visualizations, and demonstrated the system's effectiveness with scenes generated from end-to-end. The results highlight the potential of LLMs to understand IoT sensordata. Furthermore, generative models can aid in transforming these interpretations into visual formats, thereby enhancing user interaction. This work not only displays the capabilities of sensor2Scene but also lays a foundation for advancing AR with the goal of creating more immersive and contextually rich experiences.
